This is a new and exciting role to support the Hepatitis C Follow Me Project and the Liver Surveillance Project, specifically for Eastern European communities across West London. 

The Hepatitis C Trust develops projects nationally where peers use their lived experience of injecting drug use and hepatitis C, to provide education and training, increase hepatitis C awareness, and access to testing and treatment for people living with hepatitis C.

Working in partnership with hepatitis C & liver surveillance teams, drug and alcohol services and homeless service providers, the post holder will deliver education on hepatitis C & Liver Health to Eastern European communities deemed at risk of HCV infection & liver disease across all of the West London ODN area and ensure that everyone is offered and supported to treatment. Working under the guidance of the Peer Programme Manager the post holder will ensure that Eastern European people with an identified diagnosis of hepatitis C & liver cirrhosis are offered a referral to specialist hepatitis treatment & liver surveillance services in West London area.

Purpose of the role

This post will deliver a two-year funded project focused upon improving the lives of working carers by supporting their employers to provide more carer friendly workplaces. Working solely within the Royal Borough of Greenwich, the project will establish a network of Carer Friendly employers. It will raise awareness of the issues faced by working carers by engaging with private, voluntary and statutory sector employers across the borough. The project will support employers to provide more flexible working practices for carers within their employment.

To contribute towards our overall organisational growth and transformation, we are looking to appoint an experienced and dedicated Safeguarding Lead to oversee and strengthen our safeguarding practices across all our services. 

The successful Safeguarding Lead will ensure that the charity meets its organisational, national and local requirements and responsibilities in safeguarding all users, staff, volunteers and partners of Rape Crisis South London programmes. 

Working closely with different areas of Rape Crisis South London, the Safeguarding Lead will champion best safeguarding practice standards and be able to implement shared learning and continuous improvement. Strong communication skills are essential as part of the role involves training others and ensuring that relevant documents are created to support the ongoing learnings of all staff and users. We are looking for a highly motivated fundraiser who believes in the vision of CCX and who can work with the Philanthropy Lead to develop a committed donor base to support the work. We have a brilliant new opportunity for an experienced finance expert to join our Finance and Assurance team as our new Head of Transformation. About you

- Experience of managing successful projects and working with operational teams.

- Hold relevant financial accounting professional qualification; ACA, ACCA, CIPFA, ACMA (or equivalent) with post qualification experience operating at a senior level.
- Experience driving continuous improvement of financial process and promoting a culture to support this in a large organisation
- Experience leading teams in operating effective financial control environments, adopting a mindset of continuous improvement to strengthen controls and operational effectiveness.
- Experience of Unit4 ERPx or other ERP Finance Systems – particularly post implementation.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and managing corporate partnerships that support the charity's fundraising efforts, raise awareness and help achieve organisational goals. You will build strong, lasting relationships with corporate partners, working closely with them to design and deliver mutually beneficial initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

The post holder will be working as part of the Individual Giving team in the Commercial Directorate which includes Supporter Care, Individual Giving and Legacy & In Memory.
