About The Role
Alongside our Marketing Officer, you’ll be responsible for successfully promoting our challenges to individuals, charities and corporates, with the primary aim of ensuring that monthly registration targets are met, but also with the aim of marketing Global Adventure Challenges’ services as a whole.
You will plan and deliver our digital marketing strategy, which involves, but is not limited to:
- Developing and implementing digital marketing strategies to individuals, charities and corporates, including but not limited to organic and paid social media, email marketing, search engine optimisation (SEO) and paid search and display advertising while adhering to deadlines
- Designing and monitoring all paid advertising, including but not limited to Meta and Google Ads
- Supporting our charity partners in their promotion of our events, including the production of marketing kits for new offers and events
- Working with our Charity Accounts Officer to create PowerPoint presentations for information evenings for our charity partners
- Managing the company website and ensuring that content is up to date, including challenge dates and itinerary details
- Writing creative copy including blog content for the website, ensuring content is optimised for search engine results
- Creating and scheduling regular marketing emails to our subscribers and charity and corporate partners using Dotdigital
- Designing and delivering all digital creative media including online challenge brochures, in addition to managing and maintaining the brochure website using WordPress. This requires a basic understanding of HTML, CSS and JavaScript to maintain functionality
- Creating a range of content using Adobe Creative Suite, including but not limited to content for the GAC website and social media channels in addition to providing design support to other areas of the business
Administrative tasks
- Reporting on KPIs from various marketing campaigns including but not limited to Google Ads, Meta Ads, email sends, search engine optimisation (SEO) and other marketing streams
- Providing regular reports and analysis on website usage and trends using GA4
- Accurately reporting the expenditure of marketing campaigns
- Producing PowerPoint Presentations for information events for charities, participants and corporates
- Recording accurate stock levels of all merchandise including but not limited to cycling jerseys, trekking t-shirts and place orders with our supplier as required
- Contributing towards the design and sales of merchandise via the company’s merchandise website
- Line-managing the Marketing Officer, providing guidance and supporting them in their management of our social media channels
Other tasks
- Developing and suggesting new marketing and client sourcing streams for the business
- Ensuring all correspondence (written and verbal) is to the highest standard
- Alongside Company Directors, implementing any new Marketing procedures that will benefit the business
- Any other duties as and when required under instruction from the Directors.
What we’re looking for:
- Extensive experience in a digital marketing role, including SEO, PPC, social media and email marketing
- Strong knowledge of website analytics tools including GA4 for tracking website performance
- Proven track record in allocating and managing budgets on paid channels, including Google and Meta Ads
- Experience managing WordPress websites, with basic HTML and CSS skills
- Experience using Adobe Creative Suite to create image and video content (Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro)
- Strong project management skills, with experience managing multiple projects whilst still meeting deadlines
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop creative solutions to potential roadblocks
- Up-to-date with the latest developments in the digital marketing industry

About the role:
The Digital Officer is a key member of the Marketing and Digital team. We are a friendly, creative, and supportive team, responsible for raising awareness and growing the brand of The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity, as well as our website, email, social, direct mail, paid advertising and more. This is a particularly exciting time to join our growing team as we shape and improve the charity’s digital approach and prepare to launch a new large-scale capital fundraising appeal.
As Digital Officer you'll work closely with Marketing and digital colleagues, as well as fundraising teams across the organisation. You will be a key player in maintaining and improving the charity’s digital presence, focussing on website management and web content, keeping our supporters and audiences at the heart of everything you do.
It is also an exciting time to join our digital team, as this role will begin part way through a redevelopment of our website. The Digital Officer will play a vital part in supporting the wider digital team to QA and deploy the new site, and support the Digital teams efforts to embed new ways of working and processes for the new site and ongoing roadmap.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Support day-to-day management and improvement of the website. Includes content updates to ensure information is correct and up-to-date, and editing pages as needed across the site, following digital best practice.
- Support with the blog content calendar and blog content creation. Writing, building, publishing and optimising digital content, then measuring performance using tools like GA4 and Hotjar.
- Embedding and promoting digital best practice. Ensuring new content developed follows digital, SEO and UX best practices and supporting colleagues within the charity to understand and deliver the best digital experience across key campaigns by providing advice, recommendations and feedback.
- Supporting the wider Digital Team in delivering a training programme across the organisation, which will embed our new content creation process and build digital skills across the organisation.
To be successful in your application you'll need:
- Professional experience using CMS (Content Management Systems) and knowledge of website management, on-page and technical SEO and digital best practice. Knowledge of UX is desirable but not essential.
- Experience using data tools, such as Google Analytics for reporting and identifying actionable insights.
- Excellent copywriting, editorial and proofreading skills.
- Experience in writing for the web or digital channels and creating content tailored to a variety of audiences.
- Ability to communicate, work collaboratively and build good working relationships.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to work proactively and manage multiple projects concurrently.
The following are beneficial to your application but not essential:
- Experience of digital collaboration and project management tools like Trello, MS teams or JIRA.
- Experience in a similar role within a complex organisation, charity or health/science organisation.
- Experience of working with contractors, agencies and freelancers.

The Role
We are recruiting for a Community Fundraising Manager to join our Fundraising team. The role will be instrumental in the Foundation’s engagement with different communities and building fundraising partnerships across a range of community audiences, including youth and education, sports clubs, community groups and individuals doing their own activities. You will be responsible for growing our existing community products such as Turn Cricket Red as well as introducing new products and initiatives to generate growth in Community Fundraising. - Plan, budget, attend and coordinate an annual community fundraising and events calendar with set objectives, budgets and KPIs for each activity
- Regularly review the performance of fundraising activities/events and products, make recommendations for improvement, and support decision-making regarding fit of new opportunities for the foundation
- Project Manage the delivery of the community fundraising programme at RSF, leading on activity working group meetings, coordinating with key stakeholders to ensure campaigns, activities and events are managed efficiently
- Work closely with the schools lead and school manager to grow our schools fundraising programme – working collaboratively so the training programme objectives are also met
- Develop a long-term growth strategy for Turn Cricket Red – focused on maximising current opportunities as well as diversifying to increase our reach
- Deliver high value supporter stewardship to increase lifetime value and impact of their fundraising
- Build and maintain a variety of community relationships across varying stakeholders and seniority, ensuring opportunities for growth are maximised
- Alongside the team, co-ordinate event/activity logistics including but not limited to sales, bookings and liaison with supporters and suppliers, material production, promotion, set up, and delivery
- Oversee relationship with key providers of event fundraising mechanisms such as online donation platforms, auction platforms and text to donate services
- Work with colleagues to ensure all events are adequately supported with staff, volunteers and hosts, and that all stakeholders receive appropriate training/ briefing and post event debriefs
- Work with the Head of MarComms and Digital to produce engaging fundraising collateral and information for event and community supporters including pre and post event communications/marketing collateral, working with external production companies where required
- Ensure all events and activities are compliant with fundraising code of conduct, GDPR and other event processes/policies
- Oversee the use of the CRM system to ensure data is recorded in compliance to Data Protection and GDPR and maximises output for supporter journeys
- Use sector trends and audience analysis to direct strategy and ensure that RSF remains innovative and at the forefront of Community fundraising

- Experience of designing and delivering successful Community fundraising events and activities

The Role:
• The Celebrity and Ambassador Programme Co-ordinator dedicated to making a difference for the UK’s woods and trees.
• Working closely with other programme leads, this role engages key stakeholders, facilitates excellent stewardship, and builds strong relationships between celebrities, ambassadors, and the Woodland Trust.
• The primary focus areas include updating and engaging Ambassadors and Celebrity contacts with the work of the Trust, developing inspiring content for the group to share and providing top-notch account management for key supporters.
• This role includes a mix of working from home and at our main office in Grantham, Lincolnshire. Visits to Grantham will be required at least once per month.
• This is a 12-month Fixed Term Contract to cover maternity leave.

Our Haig team is looking for a passionate and proactive Fundraising Officer to help grow our income and build strong corporate and commercial partnerships. You will:
- Act as the Trust’s Fundraising Officer, responsible to the Fundraising Manager and members of the Communications team.
- Be responsible for trust and foundation funding applications and other bids and proposals, liaising with other departments to ensure that relevant information is provided in support of bids.
- Be responsible for challenge events and in supporting those fundraising on behalf of the charity.
- Liaise internally and externally with colleagues and third parties in the pursuit of fundraising from corporate bodies, individuals (incl high net worth), the organising and execution of fundraising and other events, including logistics, risk assessments and overseeing volunteers, and in procuring branded and other marketing materials and resources.
- Assist in raising awareness of the Charity’s fundraising activities and events using social media, the website and printed materials, including their research and updating. To contribute to the charity’s printed newsletter for its beneficiaries, and other e-newsletters.
- Assist with the department’s legacy programme.
- Assist in monitoring of and the subsequent reporting to grant providers of funding received and the impact and benefit derived, including the production of beneficiary case histories.
- Working closely with the Fundraising Manager and the Communications team lead on establishing and running a new supporter/fundraising database, for which necessary training will be provided.
- Assist the Fundraising Manager with media and PR and in ensuring the maintenance of good external liaison with the media.
- Assist the Fundraising Manager in maintaining good external liaison with other Veterans charities, including the organisation and running of events that promote the charity, incl Armed Forces Day and Armistice Day.
- Oversee the charity’s Community Fund which supports its beneficiary communities, liaising with the Fundraising Manager.
To be successful, you should also have the following:
- A degree (or equivalent).
- Extensive computer literacy with experience in MS Office and digital marketing systems, together with excellent administrative, data protection, numeracy and literacy skills.
- Experience in using MS SharePoint.
- Demonstrable experience in fundraising, including from trust and grant applications, corporates, legacies, events and individuals.
- Knowledge and experience of running challenge and other events.
- Marketing and communications experience including updating websites, using social media and in the production and editing of both electronic and printed publications.
- Knowledge of the charity sector and fundraising trends in particular.
- Knowledge of/experience in the British Armed Forces (or a willingness to learn).
- Demonstrable enthusiasm for fundraising and a keenness to develop and expand your knowledge and experience in this chosen career: a problem solver, able to work to tight deadlines.
- Evidence of a proactive, collaborative & agile mindset, able to build relationships, trust & credibility with colleagues and external partners and stakeholders.

About the Role

The Marketing & Events Coordinator plays a key role in the Partnerships team in organising and delivering various sector events, from exhibiting at conferences for senior school leaders to the graduation events of our teacher trainees. You'll also provide vital support to the Partnerships managers supporting a mix of marketing and communications campaigns designed to help recruit educators to our professional development programmes and highlight the findings from our in-house research function.

The Green Exercise Project Officer will help people to connect with nature and each other while building levels of physical activity, supporting people to move away from a sedentary lifestyle and live a good life. We seek to deliver long-term programmes delivered across local green spaces, parks, riverside and coastline, to provide entry level accessible activity. They will be responsible for facilitating the implementation of the health and wellbeing projects and developing and delivering Green Exercise sessions with the aim of getting people active in the outdoors and building nature connection across South Tyneside and North Tyneside, increasing levels of physical activity and healthy lifestyle choices within the target communities.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering health and wellbeing sessions, particularly in an outdoor environment.
