Main duties of the job

• Develop and implement a charity strategy for OHC and other relevant supporting strategies in collaboration with the Board

A specific focus is on securing donations in excess of £5,000 from major donors by initiating, promoting legacy giving and developing long term relationships between supporters, prospective supporters and Oxford Health Trust/Charity
• Ensure appropriate governance is in place for reporting to the Charity Committee and the Charity Board on the charity’s activities.
• Lead, manage and support the Charity Team, empowering them to develop and deliver to the highest level.
• Developing and implementing volunteer roles across the organisation in line with the Volunteer Strategy and organisational strategy and ensuring that appropriate systems and processes are in place for the management of volunteers.

Head of Commercial Income

About the Role

Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities:
Programme Management and Coordination:

•  Responsible for programme management of the ES2H programme. Working with the Director of Programme Delivery, and with Subject Matter Experts who are responsible for the four workstreams of the programme (Advocacy & Policy, Research, Scalability, Construction).
• Responsible for the development and utilisation of high-quality programme management tools and internal coordination forums, including for programme planning, performance monitoring, communication, internal and external reporting.

• Coordinate with subject matter experts to monitor and track programme spend, flagging issues and risks, and ensuring regular reports are available for budget holders and the Finance Team.
• Provide regular inputs and updates for relevant sections of the organisational Performance Framework, Risk Register and any other operational requirements.

These roles are two of three lead managers that report into the Head of Service, working as a group to provide collective leadership. The team provides services and programmes that support Londoners in pathways to safe, secure and decent accommodation. People experiencing homelessness, rough sleepers, survivors of domestic abuse, adults with learning disabilities and older people are just some of the groups the team supports.

About the roles

You will drive the GLA’s efforts with partners to be a system leader in homelessness prevention, rough sleeping, and specialist and supported housing provision. The work of the team is shifting to respond to a highly complex environment in a broad system, to make the most impactful interventions for the Londoners we serve. We are looking for proactive and highly organised people with excellent problem solving, influencing and negotiating skills. They will also need to be skilled and adaptable leaders who can manage change with compassion and focus.

You will oversee and lead teams delivering a range of capital and revenue funding programmes. As a system leader, you will consider and design programmes, services and interventions to ensure they maximise value for Londoners. Working with the full range external stakeholders in this space will be a fundamental aspect of these roles, including involvement in securing government funding for new and existing programmes, services and interventions. You will also oversee promotion and support to prospective bidders, bid assessment and evaluation, contracting, and outcome monitoring and reporting.

The Green Doctor Trainee will work alongside our experienced Green Doctors to help residents use energy efficiently, reduce bills, and to stay warm and well in their homes. The role will include supporting customers by telephone, travelling in the local area to deliver home energy visits, fitting small energy-saving measures (sometimes involving working at height), and taking part in promotional activities to spread the word about our service. You will learn how to use equipment and tools, gather and record data accurately, and ultimately provide high-quality advice to help people who are most in need.

We are seeking an individual who is motivated to develop a career in the energy advice sector, and who is committed to supporting vulnerable people to act more sustainably, to stay warm and well in their homes, and to reduce their household bills.

The ideal candidate would be approachable, professional and motivated to learn. We’ll help you to gain the technical qualifications, skills, knowledge and experience needed, provided you commit to a structured programme of learning alongside other Trainees. GREEN DOCTOR ACADEMY

This placement is part of a national Green Doctor Trainee scheme funded by the Cadent Foundation. Trainees will take part in the Green Doctor Academy: a program of training, learning and support. This will include a period of training, support, and observing colleagues before you take responsibility for your own Green Doctor caseload.

About the Role

To work as part of a team that delivers an assessment, support and move on service to vulnerable clients in supported or community-based accommodation. Our work is underpinned by the Endeavour model of assets-based, psychologically informed delivery. The aim of this is to ensure that every client leaves the service with the skills and resilience to be confident and self-determining in their lives.

Working under the direction, guidance and support of a manager/senior worker you will be responsible for managing the building to ensure that the accommodation provided to the clients is safe and secure through the provision of overnight concierge service, security and door control. This includes controlling access to buildings, being the first point of contact for all emergencies and carrying out Health and Safety checks and cleaning.

Key responsibilities include:

· You will always ensure the safety and wellbeing of clients in the service possible including using Safeguarding and emergency alert procedures as applicable.

· You will provide a basic first contact advice response and security service at night to clients living in the property and/or in dispersed accommodation linked to the service

· You will be the first point of contact for visitors, contractors or services visiting the building at night

· You will be responsible for maintaining Health and Safety standards on the premises and a point of information for clients regarding Health and Safety at night
