We are seeking an experienced Corporate Partnership Manager to join Action Against Hunger UK’s Corporate Partnerships team. The position holder will report to the Senior Partnership Manager and be responsible for leading the development and delivery of global and national partnerships, with a suite of partners worth c£750,000 per year. The postholder will have a proven track record of growing corporate income, with expertise in leading the management of both commercial and strategic partnerships. The Children’s Specialist (Discipleship) will work as part of the Children & Youth Department team (CY) that is seeking fullness of life for all with Jesus by raising leaders and young people who are disciples of Jesus in our tradition of social change and justice.

As Trusts and Foundations Officer you will be Baobab’s key fundraiser and a self-starter with experience of working in a small or medium sized charity. You will be responsible for carrying out a successful program of fundraising from small, medium and large charitable trusts and foundations to an agreed annual fundraising target. You will also assist in delivering Baobab’s individual major donor programme, helping to set up and deliver communications and events related to this income stream. You will work closely with our operations team to gain an overview of all aspects of Baobab’s work. In this part time, home-based role, you’ll have the opportunity to support and mentor parent carers, helping them develop their skills, knowledge, and confidence to make decisions that are best for their families. You’ll also help create and deliver well-being workshops for parent carers to empower, inform, and reduce their stress and help increase their confidence so they are able to access the benefits they are entitled to.  And you’ll work in partnership with money advice organisations across Wales, to set up referrals for parent carers to make sure they get all the financial support they need.

What we’re looking for

• Experience of working with and supporting families who have disabled children in Wales.
• Ability to support and mentor parent carers to develop the skills, knowledge, and confidence to make decisions that are right for their families.
• Experience in creating, facilitating, and delivering workshops

• Knowledge and experience of the issues and concerns that affect families who have disabled children e.g. leisure provision, education, respite care.

The College of Policing is exclusively partnering with Robertson Bell in our search for two Finance Business Partners to join our team on a permanent basis. The College of Policing is the professional body for the police service in England and Wales who work to share knowledge and good practice, set standards, and support professional development for police officers and staff.

Reporting into the Senior Finance Business Partner, these roles will provide professional finance business partnering support and advice to Cost Centre Managers, including preparing and evaluating accurate and timely annual and monthly budgets, forecasts and trend analysis, to enable effective and appropriate financial planning across the College.

The key duties of these Finance Business Partners will be:

• Reconcile budgets, accruals, prepayments and other financial records for year-end.

• Drive effective strategic and operational decision making for budget managers.
• Support the design, development and continuous improvement of finance processes and quality and system improvement projects.

The successful candidate will have:

• Part-qualified with a CCAB qualification or evidence of equivalent experience in a similar role.
• Experience of working in a management accounting, finance business partnering or related financial role.
• Ideally experience working in the public sector, but this is by no means essential.
• Proven experience of working collaboratively, including working with internal and external people in positions of influence to develop and implement customer-focused business solutions.
• Ability to analyse, summarise and communicate financial data and information clearly and accurately to non-financial budget managers.
• Ability to provide constructive challenge to budget managers.

This role will join TCV at an exciting time for our charity. You will be central to a small immediate Fundraising team and a wider income generation directorate. Age UK Islington is developing a new befriending service in the coming months. As part of this development, we have an exciting opportunity for a part-time role as a Befriending Coordinator.

This will involve supporting all aspects of service development, partnership building, volunteer recruitment, training and management and matching volunteers to clients for home visits, telephone befriending and/or activity-based befriending. The post holder will also be responsible for case recording, monitoring and service evaluation.

The role is for 15 hours per week; this may increase to 21 hours per week dependant on the success of future funding applications. There is flexibility around when you work these hours.

Candidates must have an interest in working with older people, excellent communication skills, organisational skills, experience of facilitating training and able to maintain accurate records and produce monitoring and evaluation reports. Ideally candidates will have the ability to manage their own workload and work independently and with initiative .
