We are looking for a Fundraising Officer to join our small but dedicated team on a full-time employed basis. This is a flexible position needing someone determined to make a lasting difference in the world. You will also have fun as we work together, making an impact on the lives of the most deprived children in the world – those living in remote villages in Darfur, Sudan. You will generally work from home or remotely, but will need to visit our office in Dorking, Surrey, at least once or twice a month so will need to live within a reasonable commuting distance.
About Kids for Kids
Kids for Kids is the only charity founded specifically to help children in one of the most challenging regions of the world, Darfur, Sudan. For the past 23 years we have been transforming the lives of children through a unique package of integrated projects, working closely with the communities themselves. You will be helping transform the lives of children long term when you join our small, dedicated team.
About the position
As Fundraising Officer, you will play a pivotal role in driving the financial sustainability by increasing and diversifying income streams to enable Kids for Kids to deliver its mission. In addition to volunteers in the UK we have a Friends of Kids for Kids in America and Australia.
The post holder will be responsible for raising funds for Kids for Kids from community fundraising, grants/ trusts and developing other key income streams including major donors, regular giving, legacy and corporate.
This is a challenging, and immensely rewarding position, requiring someone who has a can-do attitude, is hardworking, efficient, has excellent attention to detail, can work in a fast-paced environment and good at managing your own time. You will interact with our donors, Patrons and Trustees as part of the public face of Kids for Kids, but most of all you will be as determined as we are to make a lasting difference to children’s lives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, approach and maintain relationships with supporters – individuals, companies, schools, churches, community groups etc. Deliver presentations to interested groups
- Develop and broaden corporate support and sponsorship
- Identify and organise new fundraising campaigns and events, proactively identifying opportunities for raising awareness and fundraising
- Write and design publicity materials for mailings, events and general outreach
- Design regular Email Campaigns and monitor results
- Manage events, including designing tickets, designing Programmes to sell at events, selling advertising space and sourcing auction prizes.
- Identify and write grant applications
- Co-ordinate and produce all social media, and monitor impact
- Maintain the website and generate content
- Provide support to the CEO/Founder, Deputy CEO and general administrative support as needed
Candidate Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience and proven track record in fundraising
- Good level of knowledge regarding fundraising good practice and legislation
- Experience of planning, managing and reviewing particular events, appeals and campaigns, including identifying needs and setting goals.
- Experienced, organised, self-motivated, accurate, enthusiastic, able to take initiative, and with good attention to detail.
- Effective communicator to all ages and levels, with excellent presentation, written and negotiation skills
- Develop and maintain effective relations with donors, supporters and volunteers, motivating them and ensuring they remain committed to Kids for Kids.
- Able to work independently and efficiently in your home, as well as with a small team
- Have a laptop with all MS Office programmes, including Access, a colour printer and fast Wifi
- Proficient in Microsoft Office with the ability to learn new IT systems quickly and efficiently
Desirable Skills:
- Social Media marketing – proficient in Google Analytics, Buffer, Linked In, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and X with general knowledge of Search Engine Optimisation
- Experience working in Wordpress
- Experience of working with Mailchimp to deliver and review regular email marketing campaigns
- Previous experience working for a charity and developing networks
- Ability to attend events and meetings in Dorking, Surrey and London (move this to requirements, not desirable)
Location & commitments:
- Full time Employed position - 35 hours per week, with occasional evening and weekend work.

The Trustees of St Neots Foodbank are looking for a new Foodbank Manager to join our amazing team of volunteers. We are a community-led operation that is based on, shaped, and guided by Christian principles. We believe no-one in our community should have to face going hungry.
St Neots Foodbank was founded ten years ago by the town’s churches; and is part of the Trussell Trust network and is still managed by trustees from those churches. At St Neots Foodbank we have our own warehouse and run four distribution centres across St Neots each week; all currently staffed by over 70 volunteers.

As Operations Manager, you will oversee the operations at St Neots Foodbank, giving particular attention to operational efficiency and standards in line with the terms of the franchise, including the implementation of existing policies and standard operating processes. You will be instrumental in enabling our Foodbank to continue to support our community and support and guide its future development.
Our ideal candidate will have relevant experience and be able to demonstrate great leadership qualities to build strong teams based on trust and understanding. Self-motivation, organisation and excellent interpersonal skills will be essential for this role. As a Researcher, you will be running elements of our research programmes, as well as managing client accounts and providing them with consultancy support. This will include advising charity clients on what the results mean for their organisation and how to make the best of their research.
The Researcher will be a core member of the Public Audiences team, working on our regular tracking research in the UK, Ireland and Canada, as well as on bespoke projects. In practice, this means working on a wide variety of topics and using many different research methodologies to help charities make better decisions. Key topics we cover in our research and outputs include brand, communications, fundraising, reputation and trust.
Many charities subscribe to our regular tracking research, which primarily focuses on research with the general public and MPs. Some charities need more bespoke research, which would involve the team working closely with clients to help understand their needs and to design research projects to meet their objectives. This type of work could include: online surveys to measure people’s attitudes on social issues to influence the development of a campaign; interviews with service users to explore the impact of their services; focus groups to test understanding of a charity’s brand and communication; or supporter satisfaction surveys to understand the motivations and retention of supporters.
nfpResearch is based in Spitalfields, near Liverpool Street. We adopt a flexible working environment, enabling staff to work both at home and in the office. We require one day a month in the office at least, though the successful candidate may be expected to work in-office on additional days throughout the year for training or events, etc. nfpResearch operates a 100-90-100 working policy. Who we are looking for:
This post would be ideally suited to somebody with a minimum of one years experience in a market or social research related role, with a strong interest in, or experience of, the charity sector.

To be successful as Specialist Housing Advocate you will need the below experience and skills:
You will have an excellent understanding of domestic abuse and its effects on survivors and their children, and of best practice within the domestic abuse and housing sectors. You will be skilled in risk management and safety planning, remaining calm in a crisis and in handling sensitive information on a daily basis. The post holder will hold a caseload of survivors and will also be required to support Advance’s duty team on a rota basis which will involve completing intake assessments and providing crisis intervention support.

About the role
The Programme Coordinator will primarily be responsible for supporting Money Heroes, our largest primary programme designed to develop the financial capability of children across England and Wales. A lot of people know NCT for our antenatal classes, and we want to continue to support as many parents and families as we can to access evidence-based information. But we are also much more than this. We are a charity that campaigns on the issues that matter to parents. We run breastfeeding and infant feeding support, provided by specialist counsellors. We run thousands of free community activities and events across the UK, led by our fantastic volunteers and peers. And we support women and families facing specific challenges, such as social isolation, feeding difficulties or poor mental health.
Our Hackney Parent Support project is commissioned by Hackney Council, to offer infant feeding support across the region in both community and hospital settings and parenting courses for families throughout the Hackney region. The support is delivered by staff and volunteer peer supporters.
We are seeking a capable Service Engagement Lead to manage, coordinate and support both the Infant feeding and Parenting course projects. This role is split between being out in the community and working from home, it will include regular travel across the Hackney region (expenses will be reimbursed).
About the Role
Working closely with the Hackney Parent Support team, you will be responsible for the service engagement and promotion of our community-based services across Hackney. Some of the key responsibilities of the role include:
· Line managing the paid peer supporters within the Hackney staff team.
· Coordinating and maintaining the active social media and Infant Feeding Services website.
· Advertising volunteering opportunities across varying platforms including social media
· Provide clear guidance and information to potential volunteers on the roles, responsibilities and training requirements.

Being able to make decisions and respond appropriately to our staff, peer supporters and parents and other external stakeholders is essential, alongside good IT skills– including Outlook, Word and Excel – and you must have good attention to detail.
It is essential for this post that you undertake the training to become an NCT Breastfeeding Peer Supporter. This requires breastfeeding experience of at least 3 months. The training can be undertaken within your working hours. There will also be training on the EPEC (Empowering Parents, Empowering Communities course) provided by South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust.
The role is 14 hours per week as is a job share, which will be predominantly Monday to Wednesday within the working day, however, will include occasional evening and weekends. This is a home-based role, however travel across Hackney will be required.

ABOUT THE ROLE:
The Senior Producer will support SCA’s Artistic Director in the effective delivery of all SCA activity, from planning to delivery review, whilst providing effective event support. You will supervise and manage a small team.
As Senior Producer you will work collaboratively with creative organisations and practitioners; be skilled at building relationships with speed and credibility with people at all levels, cultivating strong relationships with UK, international partners and venues alongside developing new partnerships. You will also support the Artistic Director to oversee and manage events and projects.
You will be a creative, collaborative and ideas driven individual, confident in managing people and multiple priorities, with extensive experience of producing complex productions with a range of partners.
What you will be responsible for:

Identify artistic opportunities that further SCA artistic ambitions, nationally, internationally and digitally by developing partnerships and prospecting leads

Work with the wider SCA freelance team (production manager, tech etc) to deliver diverse commissions, programme strands and ideas across multiple interdisciplinary artforms.

In collaboration with the Artistic Director establish new relationships with potential partners and companies, programmers and producers, nationally and internationally.
