In this multifaceted role, you'll be responsible for both content creation and supporting unpaid Carers to become digitally connected. You will manage and create engaging content for our social media platforms and website as well as maintain the charity’s website, ensuring it stays updated, accessible, and reflective of our mission.
You will conduct digital assessments for Carers to determine their needs—whether they require devices, internet access, or digital skills training and provide 1:1 support to help Carers navigate the digital world with confidence.

What the job involves
As a Celebrity and Influencer Engagement Officer, you’ll play a key role in building strategic relationships with high-profile personalities who genuinely connect with our cause. Joining our newly formed Strategic Communications, Campaigns and Brand team, you’ll help drive positive change for men affected by or at risk of prostate cancer.
You’ll work closely with our talented team across the charity and Communications directorate, fostering existing connections and exploring new partnerships. You’ll support our strategy for celebrity and influencer engagement, identifying impactful opportunities along the way.
In partnership with our Celebrity and Influencer Engagement Manager, you’ll manage celebrity logistics, administration, and itineraries, coordinating appearances at our events, media engagements, and third-party partner activities.

We’re looking for an excellent communicator who excels at building new relationships and inspiring others. You’ll be engaging with a range of stakeholders, including agents, influencers and celebrities alongside internal and external specialists at all levels. With demonstratable experience of acting sensitively, tactfully and with discretion with key stakeholders.
Ideally, you’ll bring solid experience working with high-profile or VIP celebrities and influencers, along with a background in supporting the delivery of engagement strategies. You’ll be skilled in using databases to manage relationships and have experience supporting both in-person and online events.
As a strong project manager, you’ll draw on your organisational skills to manage both proactive and reactive tasks with a solutions-focused approach.

The Vacancy
The Programme Officer will work within the Conflict Advisory Unit (CAU). The CAU provides high-quality advisory and technical support to a range of aid actors across the humanitarian, development and peacebuilding sectors, including donor institutions, UN agencies, international and national NGOs, civil society organisations, financial institutions and the private sector to integrate conflict sensitivity principles and practices into their strategies, policies, and programmes. The CAU runs remote conflict sensitivity/ peace and security helpdesks for donors, implements in-country conflict sensitivity facilities (currently in Afghanistan, South Sudan and Sudan), and undertakes bespoke conflict sensitivity work.
In additional to the CAU, the Programme Officer will work with country programme teams and other teams across Saferworld to support the uptake of more conflict-sensitive ways of working across diverse conflict-affected contexts and help to promote learning and good practice on adopting conflict-sensitive approaches. About the role
Key accountabilities but not limited to:
- Assisting the Programme Manager with effective implementation of CPP projects and activities, statistical data maintenance, promotion of shared learning and capacity building with external stakeholders
- Supporting the full lifecycle of the CPP project including planning, implementation, monitoring, evaluation and learning
- Provision of project documentation and reports in a timely and accessible way
- Contributing to programme monitoring and data collection

- Experience in participatory development, including participatory monitoring and evaluation
- Previous exposure to collaboration with ministries and agencies/institutions related to CPP and social inclusion such as the Ministry of Public Service, Labour and Social Welfare, Ministry of Women Affairs for example
- Experience working with people living with disabilities, and communities, organisations of people with disabilities, and disability governance actors.
- Knowledgeable on national and international disability rights policy frameworks, advocacy issues, campaigns, and best practices in governance and policy review.
- Good knowledge of key national networks and organizations working for people with disability and social inclusion
- Current and ongoing right to work in Zimbabwe

The Fundraising Officer - Events role sits in the Events team. This team is responsible for a portfolio of third party organised sports events - such as London Marathon, Tough Mudder, Cardiff Half and skydives - that will raise more than £4.5 million in the next financial year.
The Events team is a part of a wider Community, Events and Products Fundraising team. Our vision is to engage, grow and inspire a community of passionate fundraisers to power the fight for mental health. Because together, we can change lives.
You'll play a pivotal role in the Community, Events and Products Fundraising team's strategic objective to sustain and improve the portfolio to raise £12.9million by March 2026
This is a 12 month fixed term contract to cover a secondment.
Key duties and responsibilities
The post holder will:
-Steward event participants; this could include undertaking welcome calls, sending supporter communications, providing ongoing fundraising support, following up non-payments, personalised thanking, and supporter surveys. This can be done across a range of channels including mail, email, and telephone, online and face to face.
-Attend events to help enhance our supporters experience and deepen their relationship with Mind.
-Work with the Senior Fundraising Officer to deliver events fundraising activity. This can include planning, writing and submitting briefs, generating marketing and stewardship communications, working with third party agencies, setting up web pages, delivering memorable on the day experiences for our supporters, reporting and analysing live activity and conducting evaluations.
-Analyse and interpret data, including marketing and stewardship performance, and adjust tactics to continuously improve and ensure results are met.
-Produce high quality analysis reports for activities, including recommendations to inform and improve future fundraising.
-Work with our media agency and internal Digital Teams to achieve Mind's digital-first strategy, attending training opportunities with internal teams and external agencies to upskill as needed, and thinking digital-first in the briefing of all new activity.
-Maintain high standards of data capture by ensuring data entered on systems are accurate and timely, in accordance with the team's requirements.
We'd like to hear from you if you have the following:
-Experience and a proven track record of managing volunteers to undertake a fundraising activity and exceed their targets.
- A commitment to understanding Mind's audiences and delivering a memorable fundraising experience through excellent marketing and stewardship.

About the role

The New Economics Foundation (NEF), one of the UK’s leading progressive think tanks, is looking for an experienced strategic leader to help oversee its finance, operations and governance.
In recent years, NEF has worked hard to stabilise our finances, improve our systems, and promote an inclusive and productive workplace. We have a solid base to build from – whether it’s the long lease on our premises on Albert Embankment or several long-term programmes of work – and are looking for a Chief Operating Officer (COO) to help us to implement a new strategy and organisational structure, improve our business model and diversify our income, support excellent financial and operational support, and deliver excellent project management and resourcing. Given that our current COO leaves us in mid-December and that the role itself may change over the long-term, we are looking for a COO to join us on a 12 month fixed-term contract beginning in January 2025.
NEF offers generous terms and conditions, including a salary in the range of £78-87k per annum for a 32-hour working week that can be worked flexibly. At Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice, we care for children and young people whose lives are just too short. Our aim is to reach every family that needs our help and to offer them the very best choice of care. Did you know that every year we need to raise £6.5m to keep our doors open and only around 16% of our income comes from government sources, the rest has to be raised through fundraising activity.
Our services include short overnight stays and community breaks at home or in the hospice. We also support the whole family from diagnosis with our multi-disciplinary Family Support team who provide counselling, sibling support groups, music therapy and much more. Our care team support these families in our modern, purpose-built building. All our rooms bedrooms have a homely feel. We have a sensory room, spa pool, cinema room and six acres of gardens.
We support families from a large geographical area, including South Yorkshire, North Nottinghamshire, North Derbyshire and parts of North Lincolnshire. What We’re Looking For:
Essential:

The Role

Resolve Poverty is seeking a Chief Operating Officer to support the growth and development of the organisation as we embark on our four-year strategy.
About the role
This exciting new internal and external facing role will support the realisation of Resolve Poverty’s ambitious four year strategy as the organisation seeks to have impact nationwide.
The Chief Operating Officer (COO) will be a key member of the senior leadership team, alongside the CEO and Head of Policy. The COO will work closely with the CEO and manage key internal operations and functions’ including Human Resources (liaising with our external HR consultant) , IT and administration. This will include establishing new systems and processes as required and ensuring the smooth delivery of existing ones.
Externally, the COO will oversee Resolve Poverty’s existing programmes, with a remit to grow those programmes and secure funding to pilot new programme initiatives focussed on promoting the financial wellbeing of low income households.
Additionally, the COO working with the CEO will support governance functions, including reporting to the board and overseeing the organisation’s finances.

Operational

The Membership Engagement Officer is an exciting and varied role at the College as you will be responsible for increasing engagement with members and enhancing the member experience, whilst driving engagement initiatives and increasing member retention.
As Membership Engagement Officer, you will work with multiple teams across the College helping to develop and implement strategies to attract, engage and retain members through events, social media, newsletters and other communication channels while developing content that caters for our diverse membership groups.
Working with the Communications Team, you will help create and manage engaging content for member communications, ensuring opportunities for two-way communications and engagement, whilst also ensuring the best use of emerging channels and technology – e.g. podcasts, apps and webinars – to deliver content to members, segmented to our different audience members.
Reporting to the Head of Membership, you will support the delivery of the Member Value Proposition work, gathering and analysing member feedback to inform development and identify opportunities for improvement. With a good level of education, perhaps to degree level or with equivalent experience in communications, marketing or a related field, you will have proven experience in member engagement, communications or a customer relations role.
You should have a background in delivering member-focused communications and events and be adept at using two-way channels for engagement, whilst also having experience of successfully implementing process improvement to improve the member experience.
