We are seeking an IT Strategy and Transformation Lead to spearhead CARE International UK’s IT strategy and oversee transformative projects that modernise and optimise our technology infrastructure. This role is a 24 months fixed term contract (subject to extension). With a degree in Information Technology or a related field, and certifications in project management (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP) or cloud computing (e.g., Microsoft Azure), you bring the expertise needed to drive organisational efficiency and growth. Your project management skills, particularly in areas such as Azure migration and SharePoint implementation, are well-established, and you have a proven track record in integrating CRM, finance, and HR systems. The Actors’ Benevolent Fund supports professional actors and stage managers in times of need, and in 2023 we spent over £2.1M on charitable support. Our bold new Acting for Impact strategy seeks to increase the charity’s reach and impact within the performing arts community, helping many more people and expanding the range of support to result in meaningful and sustainable change. This Grants and Services Officer post will be key to supporting the charity to achieve those ambitions. You will work directly with our beneficiaries to deliver support, including grantmaking and developing support networks for individuals through signposting and cross-agency working. Alongside this, you will lead on the development of digital tools and resources for our community, contribute to research and evaluation projects to inform that development, and develop referral routes and relationships with other organisations.

We are looking for someone with experience of grantmaking, knowledge of the state benefits system and able to develop support packages for clients which are responsive to individual needs. Activities also include service design, development and project management. Working as part of a small, friendly team you will need to be able to take an adaptable approach to manage competing priorities. You will have excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build professional relationships with clients, and work collaboratively with colleagues internally and externally.

About CoppaFeel!

CoppaFeel! are the UK’s only youth focused breast cancer awareness charity, and we’re on a mission to get every 18-24 year old checking their chest. We educate people on the signs of breast cancer and encourage them to check their chests monthly, so that if they notice something unusual they are empowered to contact their GP and advocate for themselves.

We do this because when diagnosed early, breast cancer treatments are more effective and survival rates are higher. Early detection can save lives.

Breast cancer does not need to be detected late, and as long as we are here and continue to be supported by people like you, we will do all we can to make sure this doesn’t continue to happen.

The Role

This is a newly created role to shape impact measurement and evaluation at CoppaFeel! and ensure we meet our objective of being insight & impact driven in everything we do. This role will be integral in supporting us achieve our new strategy and deliver upon our recently refreshed Theory of Change, bringing us closer to ensuring all breast cancers in young people are diagnosed early and accurately. 

You will work closely with colleagues across the organisation to implement our new monitoring and evaluation framework, leading on the management and development of the framework alongside general impact reporting. This role will be at the heart of establishing a data-driven culture, using both our internal and externally commissioned data to provide insights for decision making across all departments. The outputs from your work will support insight generation to shape our strategy development and future investment decisions alongside improving evaluation practices allowing us to better report on our impact.

This is a hybrid role, with the expectation that you will attend the London office 2 days per week. You will be required to attend the office for quarterly team meetings, department meetings and in person training, we will provide plenty of notice for when you are required to be in for these purposes.

You will report into the Head of Community & Engagement and sit within the Education team.

Duties & Responsibilities 

Strategy

• You will support the generation of insights to inform our strategy development and future investment decisions.
• You will support the leadership team to use data and insights to inform departmental planning and review current progress against our strategy.

Monitoring and Evaluation

• You will lead on ensuring all departments are implementing our monitoring and evaluation framework where appropriate, with robust data collection processes set up for all areas of our awareness and education work.
• You will be responsible for ensuring that all departments are aligned with and using the monitoring & evaluation Framework to deliver upon our agreed outcomes
• You will take an objective view on how the team is performing in relation to implementing our M&E framework and delivering upon our theory of change across the organisation, providing timely progress reports to the leadership team.

Data collection and analysis

• You will make recommendations for streamlining and developing our data collection tools to meet our strategic and compliance requirements.

Skills, Experience and Qualifications

Essential

• Proven experience in analysing data and producing reports that communicate information in an engaging and clear manner

• Ability to focus both on the technical aspects of data analysis and reporting, as well as understanding the strategic thinking that your work will contribute to

We're searching for a fundraising professional with experience in acquiring new donors through a variety of fundraising channels including Door to Door (F2F), digital fundraising, DRTV, cold mailing and door drops. You'll be responsible for managing a £2.4 million budget and developing innovative strategies to increase individual cash and regular giving support. This role is not responsible for the supervision or direction of staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and drive recruitment of regular givers and cash givers to grow income and supporter volumes, in a multi-channel programme including Door to Door (F2F), digital fundraising channels, DRTV, cold mailing and door drops.
• Manage relationships with agency partners executing acquisition campaigns on behalf of Operation Smile UK for the betterment of the acquisition programme.

Overview

The Operations and Systems Manager is a key role in the Operations Team and will focus on ensuring that our staff, all home-working and many based internationally, can engage positively with Global Dialogue’s operational systems and processes. The scope of the role covers IT and digital tools, digital security, data management, HR, insurance and travel, as well as the organisation’s equipment, and health and safety protocols.

Job Description

• Responsible for the maintenance and development of systems and processes that support Global Dialogue’s operations across a range of functions.
• Provide operational support to programme staff across the organisation as needs arise.

About the role:

We're seeking an experienced and proactive Void Officer to join our team in Kings Cross. Working across almost all London Boroughs, we strive to provide a warm, safe home, from which our residents can begin their recovery, and our Void Officer play a vital role in preparing our properties for letting. This is a great opportunity for someone who is customer-centric, enthusiastic and a strong team player. 

As a Void Officer, you will proactively manage our maintenance voids and be responsible for processing pre void inspections and co-ordinating repair works, to get our properties ready to let in line with agreed timescales and to meet our KPIs. The approach taken with clients will be psychologically informed, incorporating an understanding of Personality Disorder, complex trauma and addiction.  The outcomes for your role, include developing positive and sustained relationships of trust with clients, supporting them to engage in health care support and see an improvement in their overall physical health.

We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to coordinate an 18-month project exploring how we can operationalise a new in-work poverty benchmark for employers in London. This benchmark, developed by the Social Market Foundation, has the potential to improve the lives of low paid workers, building on the success of the Living Wage campaigns

The in-work poverty benchmark project is a new and exciting pilot project at the Living Wage Foundation. We want this person to build a case for employers going further than our existing accreditations and taking a more holistic approach to tackling in work poverty. This role would help us develop the pilot through employer case studies and extensive stakeholder engagement with a view to launching a new vehicle to recognise employers who adopt the in-work poverty benchmark.

Three key parts of the role would be working with:

- Our Membership team and our Operations and Insights team: to scope out and enhance their capacity to support employers to implement the benchmark through e.g. workshops, provision of guidance and /or new ways of working with employers.

- The cross organisational Making London a Living Wage City (MLLWC) team to build upon the successes and networks of this project and align where helpful to encourage London employers to go further

- London based community organisers to ensure that the experiences and stories of low paid workers are a primary driver of the case for change and how we develop this work.

The ideal candidate would be a proactive and experienced project manager with experience of building and implementing new products, projects or services. They should have excellent communication skills and a track record of engaging diverse stakeholders and building a network.

The Living Wage Foundation was launched in 2011 by Citizens UK to tackle in-work poverty and ensure that workers earn enough to live on and participate in family and community life. Citizens UK is the home of community organising with diverse civil society alliances set up to develop leaders to work on the issues that matter to them, such as the Living Wage. Other projects include Parent Action and Sponsor Refugees to add depth to the impact of Citizens UK’s work.

The Living Wage is a movement of businesses, organisations and people who believe that a hard day’s work deserves a fair day’s pay. The real Living Wage is an independently-calculated hourly rate based on the cost of living and announced each October ahead of Living Wage Week, our annual celebration of a growing network of over 15,000 Living Wage Employers.

· Manage strong relationships with the project partners and funders to involve and update them on the project as required.

· Coordinate and manage a project working group of senior Living Wage Employers, in work poverty experts and employee stakeholders.

Build and manage projects and achieve work targets effectively

· Set up, manage and evaluate a set of action pilots with employers, low paid employees and relevant experts to develop and test the in-work poverty benchmark and the standards within it.

· Design and develop the recognition mechanism and support programme for employers who sign up to the in-work poverty benchmark.

· Provide regular progress reports and deliver agreed project milestones including events, reports and other agreed outputs.

· Oversee the project being integrated into our CRM system and developing robust project management systems.

Learning, expertise, wellbeing and inclusion

· Conduct desk research, stakeholder interviews and organise events as required to inform the project. Manage research partners to conduct additional research as required.

· Monitor, review, evaluate and write up pilot progress with each employer using qualitative and quantitative evaluation methods.

· Oversee the collation and dissemination of research and evidence to build the case for the in-work poverty benchmark. Work with the Living Wage Foundation Communications and Research team to enable this.

· Develop the support we offer Living Wage Employers that are interested in implementing the in-work poverty benchmark and lead the production and design of research reports, toolkits, best practice guides and other resources.

· Promote the Living Wage Foundation to build our reputation as a leader in good work practices for low paid workers, including launching research and reports and celebrating progress made.

· Represent the Living Wage Foundation at meetings, events and conference to build awareness and support for our work.

· Build and manage strong relationships across the LWF and wider Citizens UK teams for effective collaboration and to support development of this work.

Application Procedure

At Citizens UK, we use Applied, an applicant-tracking recruitment system. Applied aims to overcome unconscious bias in recruiting. Often the Hiring Team will not see your CV as part of the shortlisting process and instead ask questions to test skills needed for the role. The responses are anonymised and reviewed by the panel. The Applied platform also asks some demographic questions before you start your application. Citizens UK cannot see individual demographic responses, only summary statistics to monitor our candidate pool for balance. Applied aims to give an equal chance to be hired irrespective of background. Candidates can opt out of answering the demographic questions.
