Summary
As a Multi-channel Designer working alongside a team of marketing specialists, brand experts, designers and videographers, you will deliver creative solutions to a wide range of briefs to help achieve our vision of a world where diabetes can do no harm. You'll be responsible for driving creative excellence in design, across multiple platforms and projects, and for bringing our brand to life.

Main Responsibilities
You will work both collaboratively and independently to deliver high quality design work for a range of outputs including publications, reports, digital assets, animations, illustrations, marketing and campaign materials, fundraising collateral, and brand development projects . You will act as a guardian and a champion for the Brand, liaising with colleagues and stakeholders from all areas of the organisation to deliver high standard work on schedule, on brand and within budget.
Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who thinks creatively, is highly inspired and has a well thought through portfolio to reflect this.
- You will have solid experience in designing within brand guidelines for both print materials and digital platforms.
- You will be proficient in using Adobe Creative Suite as well as Microsoft Office applications, to deliver innovative and impactful creative, working from concept to final execution.
- You will ideally have skills in both animation and illustration and will be able to share previous examples of work in both these areas.
- You will be confident in effectively managing internal and external stakeholders at all levels and have experience in working closely with freelancers, agencies and external suppliers and contractors.
- You will be a clear communicator, comfortable with working independently with little supervision as well as part of a collaborative team of other creatives, proactively seeking support or escalating issues as needed.

Contract
12 month fixed-term contract. 3 days (22.5 hrs) or 4 days (30 hrs). We can be flexible on hours worked each day and the days worked e.g. splitting 22.5 hours over 5 days.
Salary
£27,007 pro rata (3 days - £16,204 or 4 days - £21,606). First Give is committed to paying the Living London Wage.
Location
Hybrid, in our North West London office with one day per week at home. We can be flexible regarding the specific days, but these will be fixed once agreed.
Reporting to

Key Responsibilities
Providing support to the First Give team, primarily the SLT
- To be the first point of contact for enquiries to First Give by email and telephone
- Provide administrative support for First Gives Board of Trustees and SLT, including scheduling meetings and meeting minutes
- Supporting with communications to stakeholders e.g. schools, facilitators or funders as needed
- Managing First Gives relationship with external contractors such as printers and Salesforce support
Overseeing and managing financial administration
- Setting up and tracking payments to contractors and charities in our banking system ensuring timely completion
- Processing, reviewing and identifying outstanding invoices (including working closely with school finance departments to ensure timely payment of school contributions).
- Administering expenses and pre-paid card system, ensuring expenses are accurately recorded each month
- Provide regular monthly tracking reports on payments to the Director
Administering First Give’s charity grants
- Carrying out due diligence for winning charities to ensure comply with First Give donation rules
- Liaising with winning charities to arrange payment and ensuring accurate records of payments processed
- Running monthly reports on payments for the Director
Providing support to the Programmes team
- Supporting the Programmes team with recruitment of judges for school finals
- Managing First Give’s programme resources stock, ensuring we have enough programme documents and equipment to resource the programme

CPAG’s grant income from trusts, foundations, and some statutory income has grown significantly to nearly £2 million annually. The Trusts Fundraiser will work with the Head of Fundraising to expand the pipeline, raise restricted and unrestricted grant income, and build relations with funders.

Resolve Poverty is seeking a Chief Operating Officer to support the growth and development of the organisation as we embark on our four-year strategy.
About the role
This exciting new internal and external facing role will support the realisation of Resolve Poverty’s ambitious four year strategy as the organisation seeks to have impact nationwide.
The Chief Operating Officer (COO) will be a key member of the senior leadership team, alongside the CEO and Head of Policy. The COO will work closely with the CEO and manage key internal operations and functions’ including Human Resources (liaising with our external HR consultant) , IT and administration. This will include establishing new systems and processes as required and ensuring the smooth delivery of existing ones.
Externally, the COO will oversee Resolve Poverty’s existing programmes, with a remit to grow those programmes and secure funding to pilot new programme initiatives focussed on promoting the financial wellbeing of low income households.
Additionally, the COO working with the CEO will support governance functions, including reporting to the board and overseeing the organisation’s finances.

This role is about creating opportunities for excluded young people to access employment. You will be part of a national team of Opportunities Coordinators, but your role will focus on supporting the London region to deliver the employability elements of our intervention.

About the role:
The Non-Crimes Assessment Worker will work within a dynamic, fast paced, crisis intervention, advocacy and support service to ensure the voice of survivors informs every stage of the process. They will work within the team to make proactive contact attempts with a high volume of new referrals. Their main focus will be contacting the police cases that may otherwise not get referred into the service. Once this contact is established complete initial needs and risk assessments. They shall provide initial advice and crisis safety planning before the case is allocated to an IDVA/caseworker or referred to the appropriate partner agency for ongoing support. They will provide this high quality support based upon a client led needs and risk assessment to women from the age of 18 and over who access the domestic abuse service. They will advise women on criminal justice, civil remedies, housing and related matters.
About You:
You will have an excellent understanding of domestic abuse and its effects on survivors and children. Be skilled in risk management and safety planning and is experienced in domestic violence advocacy, who has worked with a high volume of clients who have complex and multiple needs. You will have a countenance that remains calm in a crisis and in handling sensitive information on a daily basis and you will have experience working within safeguarding procedures.

How Will You Make a Difference?
The Head of Operations collaborates closely with the CEO and SLT to oversee and manage Amna's operations, ensuring the seamless delivery of programmes to reach the communities we serve. Responsible for the efficient management of risk managemet, safety and security, administration and logistics, people and culture, finance, safeguarding, ITC, the role holder plays a key role in maintaining compliance with Amna's guidelines, donors’ rules and regulations, and local laws across programmes and operations. The Head of Operations actively contributes to Amna's mission of serving refugee and displaced communities, striving to achieve organisational goals through effective operational management.
The Head of Operations reports to the CEO and is responsible for managing a dedicated team of three, a Finance Manager, People and Culture Manager and an Operations Officer.
Key responsibilities:
Comprehensive Risk and Safety Management:
- Conduct risk assessments taking into account the diverse geographical locations of team members, organizational partners, and the nature of projects.
- Assess risks related to grant funding, considering factors such as grant application processes, funding disbursement, and compliance requirements.
- Develop and implement risk management plans specific to partnerships, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Stay informed about international and local regulations impacting the NGO sector, ensuring organizational compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in all operating regions.
- Develop and enforce safety and security protocols tailored to Amna’s diverse operational contexts, ensuring staff and partner safety.
- Work closely with relevant teams to integrate risk management into project planning and decision-making processes.
- Work closely with Amna’s partners to establish and monitor safety focal points in each operational area, coordinating real-time safety updates and responses.
- Develop emergency preparedness plans, including evacuation and contingency planning, and ensure they are updated.

Oversight of People and Culture:
- Responsible for the recruitment and retention strategy.

Qualifications and Experience:
- Expert qualification (Qualified accountant) or in at least one relevant area demonstrating advanced proficiency and specialized knowledge.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in managerial roles within international/NGO organizations, with a focus on HR, administration, IT, financial management, risk management and legal affairs.
- Understanding of UK Charity Commission regulations.
- Experience with cloud services and knowledge of IT policies and procedures.
- Deep understanding of DEI principles and proven experience in championing DEI initiatives within organizations.
- Extensive experience in financial planning, budgeting, and grant management within the NGO sector.

Your purpose
To deliver a high quality experience to schools in your region through expert relationship management, driving high levels of engagement, retention and renewal and enabling our membership to have the greatest impact in each Voice 21 Oracy School.
Your responsibilities
Relationship management and network
- Build and manage strong relationships with member schools and key stakeholders across your region in order to add value to their membership, driving engagement, long term loyalty and ultimately impact in our schools.
- Use your understanding of member schools in your region to create ‘wow moments’ across the membership journey (e.g. dropping in to meet with key stakeholders or sending free tickets to a school for an event).
- Manage group projects in your region, including sending communications, project planning and reporting to group commissioners or funders. This includes working with our large and highly successful Voice North East Group
- Represent Voice 21 effectively to external audiences in meetings and events (e.g. virtual webinars to support schools as they start their membership or progress meetings with group project commissioners).
- Develop our school network in your region (e.g. organising and delivering regional network events), using this to enhance school experience and act as a tool for growth, value and retention.
- Identify and develop strategic relationships with key stakeholders in your region in order to understand the educational landscape and work with colleagues in the Engagement (Growth) team to strengthen and grow our network.
School journey and experience
- Provide an excellent customer experience for member schools and key stakeholders (e.g. Local Authorities and Multi-Academy Trusts) from sign up through to renewal, acting as the first point of contact for your Voice 21 Oracy Schools.
- Own the membership journey and school experience for your region, including the underlying processes, activities and comms that support their membership.
- Gain frontline insights from listening to member schools in your region - collect, track and analyse data about their patterns of behaviour and use these insights to improve their experience.
- Use your understanding of our membership offer to support and guide schools in your region to access member benefits that best meet their needs, are most impactful for their students and steward them towards accreditation (e.g. use diagnostic tools to set action plans for the membership year and signpost to Voice 21 products, resources and events).
- Bring together data (from our CRM system, our Programme team and impact and engagement monitoring) to understand and own the ‘complete picture’ of each school’s member journey in your region - use insights to manage and increase engagement; proactively share insights gained, internally (e.g. with the Programme team about attendance or school feedback) and externally (reporting to a group project commissioner or funder).
- Own membership renewals in your region, helping the Engagement team to deliver our annual school renewal targets (70%+).
Your progression
Within 1 month, you’ll have:
- Got to know all of the different elements which go into our membership offer through experiencing them first hand.
- Gained insight into the impact of our membership offer on children and young people’s learning and life chances, by visiting Voice 21 Oracy Schools.
- Begun to get to know the key stakeholders and member schools in your region.
