We are looking for someone with experience working across large, complex organisations and delivering projects through developing strong relationships with senior leadership and someone who has strong experience in managing a relational database. The successful candidate will have excellent knowledge of the compliance and regulatory requirements of a fundraising office and have excellent IT, systems and organisational skills to manage a complex operations function.

About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to join our friendly team and use your fundraising experience to make a difference to the lives of vulnerable children and families. As Fundraising Officer, your role will focus on developing relationships and generating income from charitable trusts, statutory sources, individuals, schools and parishes.
This is a diverse and rewarding role where you can work closely with our project teams and see the direct impact of your efforts. The fundraising team is also actively involved in service delivery and this role will be instrumental in helping to distribute gifts and food to hundreds of disadvantaged families at Christmas, as well as helping families in crisis via our Crisis Funds.
You will also help to shape the department’s overall fundraising strategy and play an important role in ensuring that many more disadvantaged children and families can access the support they need and have hope of a better future.
What we are looking for
We are looking for someone with fundraising experience who is keen to use their skills to help CCS grow our income. A proactive and flexible approach is also a must! The successful candidate will:
• Have at least one years’ experience working as a charity fundraiser and a proven track record of personally securing fundraising income.
• Be an effective communicator
• Have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to develop strong working relationships with colleagues and supporters.

As Senior Communications and Public Affairs Officer (Wales), you will play a crucial role in our work to end homelessness in Wales.

IPSEA is a national charity that works to ensure that children and young people with SEND receive the educational support they are legally entitled to. Sanctuary Schemes are multi-agency victim-centred initiatives that aim to enable households at risk of violence to remain safely in their own homes by installing a 'Sanctuary' in the home and through the provision of support to the household. As a Sanctuary Scheme Specialist, you will support the sanctuary service by carrying out comprehensive assessments of service users and their homes and helping providers to ensure safety improvements are made. The Head of Development and Impact will be our lead fundraiser, drawing in support and expertise from across the team. They will take ownership of identifying funding sources, creating a strategy, forecasting our fundraising income, and building strong relationships with donors, bringing the experiences of our group members to life in fundraising communications. They will line management a full-time fundraiser who specialises in individual giving while the Head of Developent, Operations and Impact will lead on grant writing.
In the last 5 years, this role has achieved huge success in CARAS’ development, more than trebling our income and enabling us to expand our staff team and therefore our reach. We are a highly impactful organisation that is often looked to for our insight in the sector. We have an ambitious five-year strategy, co-produced with group members, staff, volunteers, trustees and partner organisations, that guides our current work.

Oversee the impact and systems change data stored on Salesforce and other management information systems ensuring it is up-to-date and accurate and designing workflows to process and report on the data.

Lead on the design, data collation, analysis and presentation of the investment portfolio’s impact performance for our annual impact and systems change performance committee.

Supporting the impact manager to deliver the annual impact report, leading on our data input.

Creation of reports and presentations that are engaging, user-friendly, insightful, and incorporate best practices in data visualisation and storytelling throughout the impact calendar i.e. lead on website updates for our investment numbers & where we invest section

Working collaboratively with Communications, Investor Engagement, Policy, Finance, Legal, and Operations groups and external Fund Managers on cross functional projects and initiatives.

Assist the Head of Impact and the Head of Investment Management in delivering our impact and systems change approach across stakeholders (incl. BSC Board, external audiences) and products (BSC’s Annual Report, BSC’s Impact Report, etc.)
Market Data

Leading our annual market sizing estimate & enterprise level data release, collaborating closely with relevant teams including market systems and communications to effectively communicate our findings and insight.

Working closely with other market players i.e. GIIN, Impact Investing Institute and European NABS to share and alignbest practice with market sizing methodologies.
Systems Management

Maintain and help develop back-end architecture of Salesforce and user experience on our frontline, impact and co-investor objects working closely with our Salesforce Administrator to continue to build out our impact data infrastructure.

Using Tableau/Power BI and other visualisation tools to present data clearly and build in house capacity to encourage others to ‘self-serve’– allowing users to gain portfolio level insight.

Experience
Essential

Experience leading on impact, ESG or equivalent data management process design and execution to enable insights and drive decision making

Experience and confidence in using Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualisation software to create dashboards (i.e. Tableau, Power BI or similar)

Location: We are a UK-based business with an office in the Chancery Lane area of London, accessible to a number of public transport links. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with demonstrable research and development experience to play a key role supporting the delivery of our Diocesan strategy, Southwark Vision 2024-2035, Christ Centred Outward Focused. As a result of a successful application for funding from the national church, the Diocese of Southwark has launched the Southwark Diocesan Investment Programme (DIP) - a multifaceted, integrated and transformational programme designed to help resource and implement Southwark Vision and further mission, ministry and growth in parishes across the Diocese.
The DIP Research and Development Officer will be a member of the Diocesan Strategic Development Unit working specifically on researching and developing different workstreams for this exciting new progamme as it starts and also contribute to the existing strategic development funded projects coordinated through the Strategic Development Unit.
