The Head of Programmes is a critical role for the organisation, responsible for ensuring DEC funded programmes meet programmatic standards, are fully traceable, routinely monitored and comply with organisational procedures and institutional donors’ requirements. Analysis and Reporting

- Deliver and contribute to timely and high-quality infographics, reports and briefings for key stakeholders and institutional donors including Board of Trustees, FCDO and BBC.

IPS Grow is a national programme designed to support the expansion of Individual Placement and Support (IPS) services in mental health, primary care, and drug and alcohol teams across England. The Workforce Lead will provide specialist support to services embarking on recruitment campaigns, monitor their effectiveness and share learning. They will also provide hands-on support for recruitment efforts and training. This will vary according to the service need, but could include headhunting, sifting CVs, preparing for interviews, shortlisting and training.
The opportunity
The Workforce Leads will play a crucial role in the recruitment, onboarding, and training of the IPS Workforce within their designated regions. What to expect on the Graduate scheme
How does the Graduate Scheme work?
You’ll be joining our charity as a permanent member of the team.
Our Graduate Scheme provides two years of training and career development and we ask candidates to commit to staying with the charity for at least this duration.
After completing your first year of the programme there will be the opportunity for everyone on the graduate scheme to take on a new challenge and apply for a promotion to Senior Education Worker, subject to satisfactory performance in role.
And after you’ve completed the two-year scheme, you’re guaranteed a position with us - our Graduate Scheme roles are permanent jobs.
New job roles and further promotions are regularly available - many of our Education Workers go on to become Centre Leaders running our centres, or take up promotion opportunities in central operational or Head Office roles.
What could my day look like?
The Education Worker role is a frontline, fast-paced and rewarding role where no two weeks will look the same. A typical day will have different activities, possibly spread between the IntoUniversity centre, partner schools and the offices of a corporate partner.
In the morning, you might be setting off with resources to run a workshop for sixth-form students in their secondary school. In the afternoon you may be setting up the classroom ahead of running Primary Academic Support for young people in your IntoUniversity centre. On other days, you may be travelling to a corporate partner to run a business simulation workshop for 15 year-olds or leading a group of final year primary school students on a campus visit for their graduation.
As an Education Worker, you’ll always be delivering the programme as part of your centre team, which means that any delivery is always a team effort.

Events & Services Executive
Daily rate £133.33 PAYE (made up of £118 candidate pay and £15 holiday pay)

This role will provide vital support to the team across event management and administrative services. The ideal candidate will bring experience in both events’ coordination and administration, with a proactive, team-oriented mindset and a collaborative approach to driving success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and execute the planning and delivery of flagship events, including liaising with vendors, managing logistics, and ensuring seamless event operations.
- Provide administrative support across events, training programs, and consultancy services, ensuring all activities are organised and run efficiently.
- Collaborate closely with the marketing, PR, and communications teams to organise and oversee various events, supporting their strategic goals and ensuring successful event outcomes.
- Monitor event registrations, handle inquiries, and maintain attendee databases to support smooth event execution and follow-up.
- Support the development and delivery of training sessions and consultancy services, managing schedules, materials, and communications to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Serve as the central point of contact for all teams, managing the flow of administrative tasks and ensuring the timely coordination of training sessions and projects in partnership with the Training Manager.
Person Specification:
- Proven experience in event management and administration, with a track record of supporting successful events and services.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, with a collaborative approach to teamwork and stakeholder engagement.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and event management software, with the ability to quickly learn new systems and tools.

Harris Hill are excited to be working with a fantastic health-focussed membership organisation in their search for a Senior Education Officer.
Location: London. Hybrid working (2 days office-based)
Salary: £30,000 - £36,000
As Senior Education Officer you will support the development, delivery and evaluation of the Society’s education programme. This includes organising online and in person training sessions and coordinating the development and maintenance of online education resource.
Key responsibilities include:
- Maintaining an overview of Society education projects and providing input as required
- Playing a key role in the development and delivery of the Society’s education programmes (online and in person events, online learning resources). This includes preparation of minutes and agendas, following up on action points and organising committee meetings as well as administering the events programme.
- Working on developing the e-learning platform and ensuring that the education pages of the website are kept up to date, working with editors to approve and add images and case reports, including the adding of internal and external meetings and new educational resources.
- Dealing with phone and email queries related to education and events.
- Acting as the main interface between the Committee and the professional conference organiser.
- Supporting the production of the Annual Scientific Meeting for example proofreading of documents, and user acceptance testing of online functionality such as registration and abstract systems, interactive programme and conference app.
The successful candidate will have experience in project management, event logistics and management, both online and in person and will be happy working with third party suppliers, as well as volunteers, with the ability to work with a diverse range of people at all levels. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are key as is experience of CMS and updating websites. Experience working with e-learning platforms/LMS would be beneficial but is not crucial.
