About this role
The Communications and Marketing Coordinator will ensure that communications and marketing priorities are implemented across the organisation to build brand awareness and reputation, increase reach and engagement across key stakeholder groups (funders, learners, coordination bodies, strategic partners), support fundraising activities, as well as contribute to RedR’s positioning within relevant sectors.The post holder will have exceptional communication and organisational skills with a keen eye for detail and an interest in learning and development within RedR’s thematic areas.
Summary of Key Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
- Development and implementation of yearly comms and marketing plan with support from Associate Director of Business Development and Programmes
- Produce regular website, social media and communications content as well as newsletters to maintain engagement and improve our reach across our members, supporters, funders and other target audiences
- Website maintenance and improvements in coordination with relevant staff, centralising efforts to ensure the functionality of the website and key integrations with third party platforms
- Support programme staff with creation of new resources and materials for our projects Support fundraising efforts including public appeals through content development, design and project management with external suppliers

Social Media and website
- Maintain and build RedR UK’s social media presence, ensuring social media channels are populated with engaging content with a consistent, strong voice reflecting RedR’s strategy to maximise potential for exposure among target audiences
- Manage a calendar of social media and website activity
- Work with the Associate Director of Programmes and Business Development to create and develop campaigns (including fundraising and awareness raising campaigns) to be run across social media platforms
- Monitor and report on engagement, number of followers and website referrals to inform best practice for post timing and content
- Act as the primary point of contact for queries received through social media and inbound emails, ensuring they are responded to appropriately and in a timely manner
- Responsible for the day-to-day management and maintenance of RedR UK’s website, including making edits and creating new content
- Ensure the website content is proofread and accurate, and any broken links or errors are promptly corrected
- Website (wordpress) maintenance and improvements in coordination with relevant staff (and external developer where relevant), centralising efforts to ensure the functionality of the website and key integrations with third party platforms
- Work with external website developer to resolve issues with the website and further develop design of website to accommodate emerging needs.
Marketing
- Stay abreast of comms and marketing trends and propose new and innovative approaches to increase outreach, engagement and fundraising income
- Produce in-house marketing materials and templates including event brochures, proposal templates, illustrations for reports/proposals, graphics and videos using platforms such as Canva or Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, PowerPoint and other editing tools
- Produce and disseminate high quality regular newsletters, and support with production of speeches and letters
- Identify inspiring impact stories and produce written and occasional films case studies and other content for use by the Fundraising and Programmes teams, supporting
- Support programme teams wishing to undertake communications activities as part of a grant/funded project; ensure that institutional donors’ communications activities and visibility requirements are respected
- Lead on emergency communications, in close coordination with the Associate Director of Programmes and Business Development
- Champion and monitor the use of RedR brand and style guidelines; to develop messaging guidelines and ensure they are adhered to across the organisation and to support other departments to develop their messaging and material.
Additional
- Lead and coordinate the drafting of RedR’s Annual Report, liaising with staff across the organisation for input
- Contribute to the development of the fundraising and engagement strategy
- Occasionally support colleagues from the BD & Fundraising and Programmes teams to produce project reports for institutional donors and/or trusts and foundations
- Embrace the charity’s vision and values whilst continually seeking ways to build stronger and long-lasting initiatives that help bring values to life

- Experience working in the charity sector
- Demonstrable experience covering a broad range of communication methods, such as:
- Interviewing/sourcing/writing/editing case studies, impact stories, social media posts, newsletters, blogs, and speeches
- Building a case for support
- Using a Content Management System (CMS)
- Strong digital skills and an awareness of the importance of digital information in the sector.
- Knowledge of a broad range of communications activities (e.g. websites, marketing, social media, publications)
- Experience maintaining websites and social media, including producing effective content
- Excellent organisational skills and an ability to assess opportunities and challenges and then prioritise.
- Ability to research and identify communications opportunities

Starting salary: £30,502 (outside of London, with a £3k annual travel bursary)/£34,162 (inside London) Under our Employee Ownership Trust model, all team members will also receive an equal share of the profits each year. The amount will depend on how much profit is made.
Contract Term: This is a permanent, full time contract.
Hours: We work a 30-hour 4-day week, from Monday to Thursday. Please note - as this is a full time role, you are not permitted to undertake any additional regular paid work on the Friday.

· Working alongside the Director of Finance, support the preparation of budgets for tenders and fundraising.
· Ensure all our income generation activity is compliant with fundraising governance and legislation, including GDPR, PECR, and the Code of Fundraising Practice, and ensure our systems and processes (including the database and reporting) are compliant and fit for purpose in Business Development.

About the role:
The role of Music and Performing Arts Coordinator will be delivered through two distinct spaces: The Music Room (including a recording studio) and a Performing Arts Studio. The role will:

Finance duties
- Work with the CEO to ensure good financial practices in place and bring to the immediate attention of the CEO, SLT, the Finance & HR Committee (FHRC) and Trustees, as appropriate, any and all areas of financial and risk control.
- Manage the overall financial strategy, preparing 3-year plans, budgets, forecasts & monthly management accounts which are prepared accurately and delivered in a timely manner.

About the Investment Team
The Investment Team is responsible for selecting charity partners, managing our charity investments and supporting our charity partners to improve and scale their impact.
The Investment Team also leads the Impetus Leadership Academy, a leadership development programme to support talent from ethnic minority backgrounds in the UK youth sector to progress into senior leadership roles.
The team is made up of 18 people, including former teachers, charity chief executives, charity impact leads, management consultants, social investment portfolio managers and impact consultants.

Job description – Investment Director
The Investment Director (ID) is a key member of the Investment Team, playing a leading role in identifying, assessing, and supporting portfolio partner charities and other non-profit organisations to deepen their impact and scale their outcomes. This role works closely with other Investment Directors and Investment Managers to deliver external facing support to portfolio partners as well as internal projects to support the development of the investment model and portfolio strategy.

Key responsibilities
Finding high potential charities and non-profit partners for our portfolio

Are you our new Digital Communications Officer?
We are looking for a creative social media native who is comfortable not only with presenting UWC to different audiences but also collaborating and supporting our different stakeholders in doing so. You will join the Communications and Engagement Team at the UWC International Office (UWCIO) which consists of six people and report to the Digital Communications Manager.
As a Digital Communications Officer, you will create, develop and deliver content across all UWC International’s social media channels in line with our social media strategy and lead on sourcing or creating the relevant, required reporting to demonstrate engagement and impact. You will also support UWC’s truly global network of volunteers through digital resources, templates and training. ActionAid UK is seeking a Senior Business Development Specialist to join our dynamic team and play a pivotal role in driving our mission. The Institutional Funding Business Development team is a key delivery partner in ActionAid UK’s current strategy to promote a world where women and girls are valued, live free from violence, and can exercise their rights to promote their own economic empowerment, safety, equality and voice. We are looking for someone who has experience in managing the development of large grants (including working in consortia) and has strong knowledge and experience working on commercial contracts (particularly FCDO). The post holder should be able to work well within a team as well as have the confidence to proactively lead proposal/bid development and provide funding support to our Federation Members.
In this exciting role, you will be at the forefront of developing strategic partnerships and securing high-impact funding opportunities. You’ll work closely with our international partners, donors, and in-country teams to craft innovative proposals that support sustainable development and humanitarian programmes. With your expertise, you’ll build an effective pipeline of opportunities, working on everything from multimillion-pound grants to commercial tenders, helping to scale up our life-changing projects.

As a Special Events Fundraiser you will:
- Work closely with senior volunteers, corporate partners, and internal teams to build strong relationships, secure sponsorship, and ensure the success of each event.
- Lead on planning, project management, and delivery of large-scale fundraising events
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including senior volunteers and event sponsors
- Work with colleagues across the charity to maximise fundraising opportunities and drive income
- Develop creative and engaging event materials, adding innovation to events
- Manage supplier relationships, ensuring cost-effective outcomes
To be successful, you must have experience:
- Proven experience in delivering large-scale events with creativity and innovation
- Exceptional relationship-building skills, with the ability to manage senior stakeholders and volunteers
- Strong project management and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines
- Experience working in customer-focused roles (e.g. fundraising, sales, or marketing)
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Experience in budget management, with a track record of meeting financial targets
- Proficiency in Windows-based software (Word, Excel, etc.)
Salary: £31,703 - £34,851 inc. LW per annum
