Responsibilities:

· Creating and implementing communication strategies that align with STOP THE TRAFFIK’s goals and objectives. This includes monitoring and analysing live trends (i.e., on social media) to adapt and refine existing strategies.

· Support our Fundraising & Development Team to produce effective individual giving campaigns through powerful visual assets and a strong, impactful narrative.

· Develop engaging content, including videos, posts, and case studies, that highlights real-life case studies from our team’s programmes to effectively showcase the impact of our work.

• You will develop, monitor and manage a trusts fundraising portfolio capable of generating in excess per annum. You’ll establish a trusts fundraising pipeline, including a range of KPI’s that can be tracked and that will enable you to make informed projections regarding future income.
• You’ll forge strong relationships with colleagues across the wider Trussell Trust network, sharing best practice and learning from other charities across the network. • Oversee and assist as needed the Foodbank Project Manager and Volunteer Manager to:

1.  Maintain relationships with key local stakeholders and identify fundraising opportunities and helping with other community relationships as needed.
2. Further develop and maintain relationships with referral agencies.

The Programme Development Manager will provide high quality project information to both internal and external stakeholders, extracting and quality assuring project data relevant for reporting, and making sure all projects are compliant with donor requirements. This team helps Breaking Barriers maximise the value of its data, by conducting analysis and managing the CRM (Salesforce) and related software.

The team works across all areas of the organisation to improve processes, unlock efficiencies through automation and generate insights from data. They ensure that data is utilised to inform any innovations or refinements to our services.

The successful candidate will be an entrepreneurial manager with a high level of data literacy. We are looking for someone strategic, highly organised and a strong people and team manager. They will be confident at communicating data in a variety of ways to a large range of audiences, identifying key take-aways and the broader implications of the findings on our clients and programming. They will also be able to train others in key data analysis and communication skills.

The Senior Volunteering Officer will help us to explore and develop new approaches to volunteering within the NHS. This role is focused on supporting our volunteers that are based within Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust services across the North West London Community and to develop new volunteering roles that focus on health challenges within the community.

This is a very broad role with a wide array of systems management and day to day park management responsibilities. This person will also be a true ambassador for the Park, both with members of the public and those who come into contact with the Park professionally.

The successful candidate will have extensive Park Management experience in a similar sized public park or community green space. They will have experience of managing service contracts, managing in-house teams, developing volunteer and outreach programs and ideally, of successfully applying for Grant funding in similar spaces and delivering on these agreements. A warm and approachable person, the ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for Park management and involving the public in regular use and patronage of these special green spaces. This person will also be numerate and well-organised with good logistical, administrative and back office management experience.

This person’s role as an ambassador for the Gunnersbury Park can not be overstated, this will be a core aspect of the role and we are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys managing big public parks, green spaces, bio-diversity and preserving these spaces for future generations.

About the role

As the Operations Officer you will provide dedicated support to the Start Funds' portfolio, currently comprising the global Start Fund, Start Fund Bangladesh, Start Fund Nepal and the Ukraine locally-led pooled fund. The role will contribute to ensuring that Start Funds' awards are efficiently and effectively managed, provide support to the financial management of the Start Fund programmes, implement the fund's approach to and management of risk and compliance, and assist with procurement.

In this role, you will: 

Operational and programme management:

• Support the Start Funds Operations Advisor in maintaining effective award management processes, in close coordination with SCUK as Grant Custodian to the Start Network
• Support in ensuring that Start Funds' programmes are fully compliant with grants and contracts and managed in-line with relevant SCUK and Start Network policies and practices
• In coordination with the Start Network Assurance team, provide inputs for the implementation of the Start Funds' approach to and management of risk and compliance
• Support the Start Funds Operations Advisor in the management of audits
• Administer serious incident reports (specifically those that are fraud-related) concerning Start Funds
• Play a supporting role in the financial management of the Start Fund programmes, liaising closely with budget holders, the Finance Business Partner and the Start Network finance team
• With support from the Start Funds Operations Advisor, provide operational advice to colleagues in relation to day-to-day tasks as well as when challenges arise
• Support the Start Funds Operations Advisor and relevant colleagues in managing procurement processes, ensuring that relevant policies are upheld. Support with contract management
• Support the maintenance and administration of Start Funds systems and processes
• Support the Start Funds Operations Advisor in the development of effective ways of working with colleagues in other teams (Start Programmes, SCUK and Start Network)
• Support the Start Funds team with the coordination of meetings and events. Assist in the development of annual business plan and work-plans, and associated annual and quarterly reporting to stakeholders with SCUK and Start Network.

About you

To be successful, it is important that you have:

• Proven experience in international development/humanitarian programme operations
• Familiarity with approaches to risk management in international development/humanitarian settings
• Familiarity with financial and budget management
• Excellent computer skills including the use of EXCEL spreadsheet, word processing, presentation and ability to maintain office and management information systems
• Experience in procurement, and the management of service contracts
• Experience in award management
• Experience of working with diverse and globally dispersed teams
• Analytical and creative problem-solving skills
• Able to operate effectively and flexibly within an evolving portfolio of work
• Good interpersonal skills, able to communicate with colleagues in a dispersed and multicultural professional environment
• Strong organisation skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

Ways of Working:

Overall purpose

The Senior Communications Manager is responsible for developing, leading and implementing key aspects of our communications and engagement strategy. Your focus will be to maintain our high reputation and build engagement with key audiences – principally target public audiences, corporate partners, funders and supporters, volunteers, clients, and staff. 

Bridging the gap between senior leadership and delivery, you will be a confident and strategic thinker, but remain excited by the challenge of getting stuck in. You will be comfortable supporting colleagues to deliver activity as well as working independently on your own projects. You will have the knowledge and experience to ensure that the right policies, frameworks and plans are in place for our small team to achieve ambitious plans.

The Senior Communications Manager is responsible for campaigns, PR, content and storytelling, brand and creative, and plays an integral role in internal communications. They also support other external engagement activities, such as digital marketing campaigns, corporate partner acquisition and retention, and public fundraising.

Strong copywriting is essential for this role. You will be able to write, edit, and tailor content for different audiences, and publish it across various channels, including the website, social media, emails, and marketing materials. 

You will enjoy variety. Your day could involve operational planning, developing a new campaign, briefing freelancers and agencies, finding compelling stories, creating our Impact Report, speaking with journalists, working on internal communications, or drafting social media posts.

The successful candidate will have strong emotional intelligence, relationship building and negotiation skills. They will be collaborative and creative, drive projects forward, work effectively alongside the Senior Digital Marketing Manager, and bring people together across the organisation. They will provide supportive, effective management to the Communications and Campaigns Officer, and be an internal advocate for the impact our Communications and Engagement can have.

We are looking for a Management Accountant to join the National Theatre Finance Team on a 6 month contract.

Purpose of the role:

The purpose of this role is to provide management accounting support for the National Theatre and to assist the Management Accountant in providing quality financial reporting to Producing and Production stakeholders. The post-holder will work closely with finance colleagues and key stakeholders providing timely and accurate information.

The successful candidate will have the following: 

• The post holder must be part-qualified in a professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) or be qualified by experience.

• Management accounting experience within either a commercial or not for profit organisation including month end reporting, forecasting, budgeting and variance analysis is highly beneficial.

• Experience working in the Arts/Theatre or strong interest in pursuing a career in the sector.

• Excellent numeracy and Microsoft Excel skills. Must be confident in manipulating data in spreadsheets and using those to present financial analysis in a clear and concise manner.

• Management accounting experience within either a commercial or not for profit organisation including month end reporting, forecasting, budgeting and variance analysis is highly beneficial.
