Location:   London/Hybrid - in person working on Mondays (either head office or local network office), with flexibility of home/office for the remainder of the week

Contract: 24 Month Fixed Term Contract

FareShare is the UK’s national network of charitable food redistributors, made up of 18 independent organisations. Together, we take good quality surplus food from right across the food industry and get it to nearly 8,500 frontline charities and community groups.

The role

We are seeking a fundraiser or an experienced account manager who relishes the excitement of exceeding income targets and developing strong relationships. You will identify opportunities to increase the value of your partnership portfolio and work closely with the Corporate Development Team to ensure the transition between new business and account management is seamless for both FareShare and our partners.

You will manage a portfolio of partners: designing and delivering tailored partnership plans and an innovative and personalised suite of partnership activity. You will work with colleagues across fundraising to ensure we maximise the value of our partnerships. We currently have partnerships with a large variety of exciting brands from Tesco to Oliver Bonas, McDonalds to Subway, Kellogg’s to Pink Lady apples and Bloomberg to Burberry – our partners support us in a variety of ways including cause related marketing campaigns, staff and customer fundraising, corporate donations and wider sponsorships and partnerships.

To be successful in this role, you will have a proven track record of excellent partnership/relationship management and ideally have experience of delivering a variety of fundraising partnerships including commercial brand licensing. You will have excellent communication skills and will be comfortable negotiating bespoke deals and benefits packages and will lead renewal plans to secure and grow the support of current partners.

Cross team collaboration is crucial to the role and you will be able to demonstrate strong relationship building and influencing skills.

Main areas of responsibility

1. Deliver first rate account management of corporate partnerships and promotions with existing corporate partners to achieve objectives and build excellent relationships that facilitate future growth.

• Provide a high standard of professional relationship and account management to a portfolio of partners, delivering a mix of partnership types including; Charity of the Year, commercial brand partnerships/campaigns and retail partnerships
• Working with the Senior Corporate Partnerships Manager and wider team to implement bespoke cultivation and stewardship strategies for each corporate partner, that encourage development of strategic, multi-faceted partnerships thinking creatively and entrepreneurially to maximise the value of each partnership and meet agreed targets and KPIs
• Ensure FareShare’s strategic priorities are addressed through our partnerships and that the brand is protected and appropriately valued
• Prepare and deliver engaging and confident presentations (both at one-to-one level and at a much larger scale)
• Establish, agree and monitor key milestones for each relationship
• Ensure that benefits are fulfilled and delivered on time
• Monitor and maintain systems and processes; including Salesforce database, financial accounting, pipeline, contracts and due diligence.

2. Work closely with internal project teams to maximise the potential for fundraising

• Work with the Corporate New Business function on the development of new partnerships and to ensure a smooth transition from new business to account management
• Work with other areas of Fundraising, the Food Team and Operations Team to maximise possibilities for partners and FareShare and to report to partners in a timely manner
• Work with Marketing and Communications Team to promote partnerships across FareShare and partner channels.

3. Legal, Compliance & Policies

• Efficient and effective management of commercial income activity ensuring compliance with GDPR, legal and charity regulation and FareShare’s own Ethical Gift Policy
• Manage all legal and financial aspects of partnership agreements
• Manage and work within FareShare’s IT systems and data guidelines
• Represent Fundraising where required on internal working groups
• Undertake training and skills development and keep up to date with the changing requirements of the role
• Undertake other duties as required

We are seeking a Digital Fundraising Manager to join a homeless charity for an immediate start and on a temporary basis, working 3-5 days per week.

About the role

As Fundraising Manager, your role will focus on developing relationships and generating income from charitable trusts, statutory sources, individuals, schools and parishes.

As our Health Intelligence Analyst, you'll play a key role in British Heart Foundation's (BHF) Health Insights team, helping to ensure that BHF has easy access to data and uses it effectively to provide high-quality evidence and insight to a wide audience, ensuring we maintain our intelligence-led approach across all of our operations.

You'll be focused on the delivery of a core health intelligence service, ensuring the Medical team and the wider BHF have access to a wide range of high-quality health intelligence assets. You'll also play a key part in regular reporting to support the work of the team and the directorate, as well as engaging with individual programmes of work as required.

Working arrangements

This is a blended role, where your work will be dual located between your home and our London Office.

The use of our office spaces is driven in part by your role and the activities you need to do. This may vary from time to time, so you must be prepared to work in a flexible way to unlock your best work for our cause. Most of our colleagues on blended contracts can expect to spend some time in their office each week, on average.
 
About you

Educated to degree level in a quantitative field (e.g. medical statistics, epidemiology, health services research, biomedical research or similar), or with equivalent experience, you'll have a strong understanding of statistical methodologies and health and care data (specific expertise in heart and circulatory health data, and knowledge management techniques is desirable). 
 
You'll have previous experience working in an analytical role, ideally in a health-related organisation, and will have experience working with a range of data manipulation, analysis and visualisation tools (e.g. R, PowerBI, Tableau).

With confident influencing skills, you'll be able to communicate data analysis to individuals at all levels. You will also be able to collaborate with others with ease, able to make connections between data and information, strategy, systems, and ways of working.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Building Safety professional to join our small, but supportive, Housing & Neighbourhoods Team as a Building Safety Manager. This role focuses on all aspects of the Building Safety Act 2022 and the Fire Safety Act 2021 and offers a varied and engaging environment for a solution-focused individual with a passion for building safety and resident well-being. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety of our residents and the compliance of our buildings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Building Safety Management: Ensure all buildings under your management comply with the Building Safety Act 2022 and other relevant regulations.
• Maintain up-to-date records of safety assessments, inspections, and compliance reports.
• Implement and manage safety case reviews for higher-risk buildings, ensuring all potential risks are identified and mitigated.
• Safety Cases: Develop and maintain comprehensive safety cases for higher-risk buildings, detailing the safety measures in place, identified risks, and strategies for risk mitigation. Regularly review and update safety cases to reflect any changes in the building, its use, or the regulatory environment. Ensure that safety cases are readily available to regulatory bodies and other stakeholders as required.
• Resident Engagement: Act as the main point of contact for residents on building safety issues. Provide clear and accessible information to residents regarding building safety measures and their responsibilities. Engage with residents regularly to address their concerns and ensure their feedback is incorporated into safety plans.
• Safety Management Systems: Develop and maintain robust safety management systems and procedures. Ensure regular fire risk assessments and other safety inspections are conducted and documented. Oversee the implementation of safety measures, ensuring they are effective and up to date.
• Collaboration and Coordination: Work closely with the Head of Building Safety and Building Safety officer and other team members to integrate safety measures into maintenance and liaise with external contractors, ensuring they adhere to safety regulations and standards. Coordinate with regulatory bodies and ensure all statutory notifications and reporting requirements are met.
• Training and Development: Ensure that all staff and contractors are adequately trained in building safety protocols and the requirements of the Building Safety Act 2022. Promote a culture of safety awareness and continuous improvement within the organization.
• Emergency Preparedness: Develop and maintain emergency response plans for all buildings. Conduct regular drills and training sessions to ensure preparedness for any safety incidents.
• Continuous Improvement: Monitor and review building safety practices regularly to identify areas for improvement. Implement new safety initiatives and best practices to enhance overall building safety.

Key duties and responsibilities of the Senior Financial Systems Manager:

• Lead implementation of the global financial systems to Human Appeal Offices within schedule and budget
• Ensure that every financial system deployment are planned and managed according to best practice
• Ensure successful completion of month end close for all Human Appeal Offices within agreed timeline
• Ensure successful completion of year end close for all Human Appeal Offices within agreed timeline
• Design and build relevant financial reports for decision making and auditing
• Lead on training and supporting systems users to resolve issues within the agreed SLA
• Ensure a fully functioning Systems Administrator role for the global financial system
• Lead and oversee the global financial systems Implementation in all Human Appeal offices worldwide
• Lead end-to-end project management for every financial system implementation and enhancement project, including scoping, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure
• Working with stakeholders to establish core requirements of new finance systems and ensure that the core requirements are continuously updated
• Leading the implementation and configuration of the global financial system for new Human Appeal offices within timescale and budget
• Managing security access to all finance systems including creation new user groups, and controlling access where required
• Develop user documentation and deliver classroom-based courses/online training
• Test new releases, functionalities and reports including coordinating user acceptance testing
• ?Business partnering with ICT and stakeholders throughout the organisation, to manage expectations and maintain systems integrity throughout
• Design, develop and maintain existing reports to deliver business critical information to Finance users and the Management across the organisation
• Become the main contact for HA to liaise with financial system vendor(s) to coordinate customisation work and escalate support case to them as necessary
• Lead the team travelling to overseas Human Appeal Offices as necessary to implement the financial system as required

What we’re looking for in our Senior Financial Systems Manager:

• Degree in relevant discipline or equivalent
• At least 3 years solid knowledge and experience of Microsoft Dynamics NAV/Navision/Business Central or similar system
• Excellent understanding of Microsoft Dynamics NAV/Navision/Business Central or similar system
• Intermediate level Excel
• MS Office Suite
• Fluent English, other languages a bonus

What you will be doing:

The Head of Philanthropy and Partnerships will be responsible for overall fundraising budget at halow whilst leading and shaping the philanthropy and partnerships team and programme to develop and sustain a pipeline of supporters via a programme of high impact donor focused stewardship of existing donors (major donors) and new major donor relationships, trusts and corporates.

Experience:

* Experience of managing a fundraising team
* Proven experience in securing strategic funding partnerships, including scoping opportunities and prospects, setting targets and building a pipeline, sourcing new business, and building long term relationships
* Experience of managing trusts and grants.
* Experience in one or more of the following: individual giving, major donors, corporate, community and events, legacies and digital fundraising.
