About the Role
As the Financial Controller you will be part of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and report into the Chief Executive Officer. You will lead a small team and manage the relationship with our existing outsourced finance team, payroll provider and auditors to deliver high quality professional finance services to the charity. You will be responsible for the financial systems and processes and ensuring the quality and timeliness of work delivered.
Galop has gone through a period of rapid growth and you will be continuing the work to align its financial practices to its new operating model. Personally, you will be resilient and driven to develop, implement and improve financial policies. You will be working with the Treasurer and SLT to improve financial management and controls. Your financial analysis and reporting skills will be exceptional and you’ll have the ability to manage people setting clear goals and priorities for your team whilst providing support and challenge where needed.
You will work closely with other teams to establish regular, clear, and consistent channels of communication at all levels within the organisation. You will build and maintain strong relationships with senior managers and their teams and will; improve the understanding of charity’s performance; influence decision-making; deliver analysis and insight on business opportunities and support options and scenarios planning including funding applications.

The Role
Working as part of the wider Technology department, the Salesforce Data Analyst Manager reports to the Head of Technology and will work closely with the Technical Solutions Specialist and the wider Salesforce project team.
This role is responsible for the quality of data imported and exported from Salesforce and our SQL databases.
The Data Analyst Manager will implement and oversee a data strategy to streamline ETL processes, ensure data quality and produce regular data quality reports. Additionally, they will be responsible for the administering and securing of our SQL server used for data-centric processes. You will be seen as a subject matter expert in their field, providing support across the organisation on a range of key projects.
About You
We’re looking for a hands-on manager, who can get stuck in on the daily tasks and lead a team of data analysts who are tasked with day-to-day operational duties.

· Extensive experience of managing and developing a data analyst team

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Major Gifts fundraiser to join the successful Development team at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew as Senior Development Manager, Major Gifts on a 12-month fixed term maternity cover contract. The role works as a key strategic partner to the Associate Director, Major Gifts & Individual Giving and leads the Major Gifts team of two Development Managers to ensure long-term growth of income from major donors and management of the overall Major Gifts pipeline. Working in the Peterborough Locality the postholders will support children, young people and their families through identifying their needs and helping them to achieve the Best Start in Life.
In addition to monitoring children's activity and development you will assist families to implement behaviour management strategies through evidence-based parenting programmes and ensure a safe environment to promote families and children's physical and mental health and to support their emotional well-being. You will also need to assess, record and report on the on-going progress of those you work with
With a relevant NVQ3 level qualification (or equivalent experience) you should have previous experience of working with children and young people. Knowledge of parenting programmes including Webster Stratton Incredible years would be advantageous together with experience of one-to-one support with vulnerable families.
Knowledge of safeguarding and the issues facing vulnerable children and families are essential, together with experience of group delivery and first-rate communication and team working skills.

Development Officer

As Development Officer, the main part of the role will involve assisting the new Business Manager with appraisal of development opportunities across ISHA’s core and key working boroughs to meet the organisations business development growth. This will comprise review of potential projects and communication with multiple agencies to include Landowners, Estate Agents, and developers as well as internal and external stakeholders like local authorities plus our regulator and funding body, the Greater London Authority. The role also requires working closely with the development team both Delivery and Sales to the agreed development programme to achieve handover and completion.
In addition to the above, there are other aspects of the role you will be required to undertake and involve reporting and monitoring of defects and latent defects across our projects to ensure these are resolved to a satisfactory conclusion and outcome, whilst ensuring excellent customer services are delivered in line with ISHA’s core values. You will also help the team to take on the role of raising Purchase Orders and processing departmental invoices for payment to our approved suppliers within the agreed timeframe.

The development team is a busy environment so ideally, we are looking for a candidate who can work closely with the team and other departments within the organisation and has the tendency & flexibility to adapt to the changing environment.
This is a supporting role and therefore good communication is required as you will be engaging with multiple and a variety of people and clients at all levels both internal and external. Your support is crucial to ensuring a smooth and functional department which in turn will help to deliver our development programme, whilst providing housing to serve and meet local community needs.

About the role:
The Head of Centre Operations is responsible for delivering the Trust’s strategic aims through a team of over ninety employees, as well as a significant number of volunteers across the organisations five rescue and re-homing centres and remote supporter groups.
This is a ‘hands-on’ role, the Head of Operations will plan, lead and consistently deliver in the charity’s rescue, rehoming and preventative work; maintaining high standards of animal welfare and customer service at all times.
