Job Purpose and Key Responsibilities
The Senior Programme Development Specialist will work on complex and major bids, often on multimillion consortia, commercial contracts and multi-country partnerships, and will be expected to take a high degree of responsibility for developing successful bids including negotiations with internal and external partners.
This position will drive a high-quality bidding process with institutional donors and large foundations to build a healthy and sustainable funding pipeline so that CIUK can achieve our programme goals. We are looking for a full-time Shelter Coordinator to join our small and friendly team to lead the successful delivery of our shelter operations for the 2024-25 winter season.
C4WS Homeless Project provides support to those experiencing homelessness throughout the year via a well-established winter night shelter in Camden, a lunchtime club, Jobs Club, hosting scheme, mentoring scheme and various other activities. We are passionate about helping people rebuild their lives after homelessness and working towards living independently.
Reporting to the Director, you will be responsible for coordinating the practical and day-to-day running of our shelters, which will involve:
- Ensuring each shelter has enough trained volunteers to safely operate
- Ensuring each shelter has all the practical equipment and resources needed
- Liaising with and supporting church volunteer teams
- Being the main staff presence at shelter shifts
- Responsible for managing our weekly Friday Club drop in
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with people who are experiencing homelessness or other similarly disadvantaged groups, an efficient and practical approach, warm and friendly nature, and a can-do attitude.
The successful applicant will be required to work flexibly whilst the shelter is operating. This includes some evenings (9:30pm finish), and some weekend shifts and bank holidays, as per a weekly-changing rota, and therefore is required to display considerable flexibility. About the Role

About You
To be successful, it is important that you have:

- Experience working with digital media channels such as PPC, display, and YouTube, either directly or through agencies
- Proven ability to manage projects and deliver them on time and within budget
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make strategic decisions

About the role
The Faculty Impact Manager will take a lead role in the development, coordination and delivery of research impact activities within King’s Business School (KBS) and the Dickson Poon School of Law (DPSoL), working closely with the faculties’ Associate Deans (Impact) and an Impact Officer for both faculties, line managed by this position, as well as colleagues in the Research and External Engagement teams. The role-holder will provide input into both faculties’ impact strategies and ensure their implementation by:
Providing expert support and advice for academic staff and faculty-based research centres in planning their impact activities at all stages of a research project’s trajectory.
Supporting the College Impact Committee and working closely with academic colleagues in both faculties to lead on the development and support of impact case studies for REF and other HEI assessments involving impact (for example, KEF).
Working closely with relevant academic and PS staff colleagues within the two Faculties and the wider College to enable strategic collaborations and knowledge-sharing for greater impact possibilities.
Leading strategic initiatives to maintain and enhance the impact culture of both faculties.

As we launch our new three-year strategy, we are recruiting an experienced corporate partnerships fundraiser to play a key role in developing a fantastic portfolio of existing partnerships and work closely with the Senior Corporate Partnerships Lead to build a pipeline of new opportunities. Job Description
Manage high-value partnerships
- Manage and grow a portfolio of existing five and six-figure corporate partnerships, ensuring a first-class stewardship journey that maximises partnership value and delivers on agreed objectives.
- Provide excellent stewardship of existing corporate partners, including engaging with employees and delivering timely and impactful partnership reporting, ensuring that all partnership activity is compliant with relevant legislation and regulations.
Drive new business
- Work with our Fundraising Prospect Research & Administration Intern and Senior Corporate Partnerships Lead to identify, develop and maintain a pipeline of prospective corporate partners and diversify the partner portfolio, conducting research, making approaches, and securing meetings to drive income and impact.
- Work closely with the Senior Corporate Partnerships Lead and wider team to create compelling, innovative, and bespoke partnerships proposals that meet the needs of corporate partners, while aligning with the charity's strategic priorities.
- Pitch/present proposals to potential new partners.
Plan and strategise
- Work with the Senior Corporate Partnerships Lead to develop and implement the corporate partnerships plan and forecast financial targets within the wider fundraising strategy.
- Use Salesforce to manage the accurate recording and forecasting of corporate income, enabling efficient reporting and KPI management.
Line Manage
- Line manage the Corporate Partnerships Executive and support their professional development, providing direction, support and guidance.
Communicate and collaborate
- Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders, including Marketing, Fundraising, Impact and programme delivery teams, to ensure that partnership activity is integrated into wider organisational activity and aligned with the charity's overall objectives.
- Bookmark is lucky to have a strong corporate volunteering proposition and it is at the heart of many of our corporate partnerships. Work with our partners and Volunteers team to ensure the corporate volunteering journey is engaging and impactful.
- Communicate the Bookmark mission with confidence to all our key external and internal stakeholders.

Person specification
Essential skills and experience
- Proven track record in securing new supporters at a five or six figure level, across either corporate partnerships or philanthropy.
- Experience in developing a portfolio of supporters with top-rate stewardship and multi-year gifts.
- Experience in managing and building a prospect pipeline to secure significant and sustainable growth.
- Experience of developing and delivering creative and innovative partnership proposals that meet the needs of donors while aligning with the charity's strategic priorities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with a range of stakeholders, both internal and external.
- Excellent project management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and develop opportunities to drive income growth and impact.
- Experience of managing budgets and delivering against income targets.
Desirable skills and experience
- Line management experience
- Experience of working in a charity that has a strong corporate volunteering proposition.

Location: Minimum two days per week based at the Bookmark office (London), with flexibility around home working for the remaining days

Job Purpose
Global Generation is looking for someone who is passionate about working with local communities to create safe, inclusive and inspiring green spaces. As the Story Garden Manager, you will be responsible for managing the Story Garden and our move in October 2025. You will work closely with our community engagement team, to ensure that the Story Garden legacy lives on in Somers Town. You will also manage our small Garden Team, to oversee horticultural, volunteering and community engagement activities at the Story Garden and for a short period of time, after the move, at our new site and/or in a new community hub created in Somers Town.

We operate in the boroughs of Camden, Islington and Southwark and work with people of all ages, particularly children and young people. Working from educational and biodiverse garden spaces such as the Story Garden and Floating Garden in King’s Cross (with a permanent community garden currently being built in KX) and the Paper Garden in Canada Water, we combine activities such as urban food growing, carpentry, making, cooking, and healthy eating with dialogue, storytelling, creative writing, performance and art, silence and stillness. These practices help us to create the conditions for people to come together in a fuller and more connected sense of who they are and what they are a part of and, from that space, to practically and creatively contribute to ecological and social change.
This role is primarily based at the Story Garden in King’s Cross, working closely with our local community of Somers Town. You will work with the garden team, community engagement team, education & community programmes team, chefs, volunteers and engage people of all ages.
Main duties and responsibilities
Garden planning and management of Story Garden and related projects

Support garden team with horticultural work, including planning and procurement

Project manage Story Garden funded projects - responsible for ensuring outputs and outcomes are monitored and met, building strong relationships with and reporting to funders (City Bridge Trust, Future Neighbourhoods Phase 3)

Work alongside our Community Engagement Manager to run community events

Alongside the Head of Gardens, manage the general Story Garden budget
Project Management of Story Garden move

Project manage the move of the Story Garden ensuring that there is a positive legacy to the work done at the Story Garden - this will involve donating plants, planters and structures to others in the local community

Build on existing and create new partnerships with others locally, local community organisations and TRAs to deliver the legacy of the Story Garden
Training and volunteering

Manage and deliver corporate volunteer days at Story Garden and the new garden we’re building

Support the Seasonal Gardener on the running of the Gardening Club

Work with the Somers Town Team to integrate volunteering and training opportunities within the wider area and upskill local people

What we are looking for
Essential

City & Guilds Level 2 Horticulture or equivalent and 3 years experience in a practical horticulture role, feeling confident enough to facilitate gardening activities
