Overview

Working with partners is a crucial part of our strategy to improve outcomes from sepsis.

As UK Sepsis Trust’s Corporate Engagement Lead, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving our fundraising efforts by cultivating and managing relationships with corporate partners. Working closely with the Head of Partnerships, Fundraising and Events colleagues, your primary responsibility will be to secure financial support from businesses and other organisations through various income-generating initiatives and collaborations.

Key Responsibilities

Corporate Partnership Development

· Identify and research potential corporate partners aligned with the mission and values of the charity.

· Develop and implement plans to cultivate relationships with new and existing corporate decision-makers.

· Present compelling proposals and tailored fundraising opportunities to corporate prospects.

Fundraising Initiatives

· Plan and execute fundraising campaigns and events tailored to corporate donors.

· Collaborate with colleagues to create promotional materials and collateral for corporate fundraising activities.

· Coordinate sponsorship opportunities and recognition for corporate donors.

Donor Stewardship

· Provide excellent stewardship to existing corporate donors, ensuring ongoing engagement and satisfaction.

· Regularly communicate impact reports and updates to corporate partners to demonstrate the value of their support.

· Organise corporate engagement activities such as site visits, volunteer opportunities, and networking events.

Revenue Generation

· Set ambitious fundraising targets and work with colleagues to develop plans to achieve them.

· Track and report on fundraising progress, providing regular updates to colleagues.

· Explore innovative fundraising ideas and opportunities to diversify revenue streams from corporate donors.

Relationship Management

· Cultivate strong, long-term relationships with corporate partners, serving as the primary point of contact for fundraising-related inquiries.

· Maintain accurate records of all corporate interactions and donations on the CRM system.

Experience/ qualifications

· At least 2 years’ experience in corporate fundraising or business development, preferably in the nonprofit sector.

· Strong networking and relationship-building skills with the ability to engage corporate stakeholders at all levels.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate the charity's mission and impact effectively.

· Results-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding fundraising targets.

· Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively under pressure.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.

About the role

The Research Officer will contribute to the Insights Hub’s qualitative, quantitative, and mixed-methods research.

This role supports the Research and Insights Manager with research projects including our flagship UK Civil Society Almanac, designing and analysing data, writing reports, and presenting findings to diverse stakeholders.

The Research Officer will also coordinate the Research Ethics Committee (REC) work, manage client relationships, and oversee research administration.

The role and your key responsibilities
 

As a Senior Account Manager, your role is to line manage a regional team of Account Managers to maximise partner engagement and ensure we retain sky-high resubscription rates. You will manage your regional team’s objectives and regularly monitor and report on progress towards this.

• Meet weekly with the Head of Account Management, reporting on progress with your partners, and the progress of your regional team.

About the Role  

You will be joining at an exciting time for Ataxia UK as we celebrate our 60th anniversary year.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES 

In this exciting role, you will take the lead on delivering our Individual Giving and Legacy strategies — bringing fundraising campaigns to life through engaging appeals, supporter newsletters, and donor journeys that inspire action. You’ll develop and grow our young legacy programme, nurturing meaningful relationships with pledgers and prospects. Championing exceptional supporter care will be at the heart of everything you do, making sure every donor feels truly valued. You’ll work strategically, staying ahead of sector trends and ensuring we’re always following best practice, while also diving into the data — managing budgets, reporting performance through Salesforce, and using insights to drive smarter, more impactful fundraising. As part of the Fundraising Managers Team, you’ll collaborate across the charity and play an active role in shaping the future of our work.

It is an important time at Sophie Hayes Foundation. Our strategy ‘Sustainable Freedom from Modern Slavery’ has launched and the charity is in a period of exciting transformation. This role is essential for the delivery of the strategy and ensuring that survivors of modern slavery, human trafficking, and exploitation have access to the support and opportunities they need to achieve their aspirations, independence, and a positive future – with soaring numbers of referrals to the NRM and thousands more victims living in fear of a hostile environment, this has never been more important than now.

But we cannot do this work without funds. Alongside a small, friendly, and dedicated team, you will coordinate and deliver a range of fundraising activities.

About You

You may have started to build a career in charity fundraising, corporate business development, or related areas.

What You’ll Do

• Trusts & grants: Work with the Development & Communications Manager to write and submit compelling funding applications to trusts, foundations and grant-making bodies to secure new and repeat funding.

• Scout for, build and maintain relationships with existing and new funders, donors, and partners, ensuring ongoing engagement and support.

• Events: Plan, organise and manage fundraising events, including overseeing event logistics, participant engagement and post-event follow up.

• Work with the Development & Communications team to generate new, innovative fundraising concepts and bring them to fruition.

• Manage the database of funders and donors and ensure contact is up to date.

• Support with monitoring and evaluation, including reports to funders

• Work closely with the communications team to ensure coordinate donor and external communications, and to contribute to our social media presence

• Identify roles and responsibilities that could be delegated to volunteers to maximise their support, supervising those assigned to you.

• Represent the Sophie Hayes Foundation with colleagues at meetings and events with external stakeholders. This may include deputising for more senior colleagues on occasion.

• Ensure the highest standards of safeguarding across all activities.

• Other duties which may arise under the implementation of the new strategy, as directed by the Development & Communications Manager.

Overall purpose of the role

The Senior Communications Manager is responsible for delivering exceptional communications to enhance Orbis UK's profile in both the UK and the Middle East. The position is responsible for implementing strategic plans for UK and Middle East audiences, while supporting the Media and PR Manager in boosting Orbis UK's brand presence. The role also includes leading reputation and crisis management responses and plans.

The Media and PR Manager reports directly to this position, and together, they will collaborate to deliver effective communications plans. There will also be opportunities to work with the wider Orbis UK communications team on cross-departmental campaigns, appeals, and events, including VIP visits and integrated marketing campaigns.

This role encompasses communications planning, media relations, stakeholder management, reputation management, copywriting, and at times, event coordination. It requires strong relationship-building skills and the ability to manage projects across different teams and countries. The role is responsible for three key areas of work:

i) Overseeing the delivery of the media and PR strategy to increase brand awareness of Orbis within the UK and the Middle East through pitching and placement of high-quality media coverage, proactive PR initiatives and reactive press office opportunities within a range of publications that align with our target audiences and partnerships. This will include managing the Media and PR Manager, working with key stakeholders such as the Royal Press Office and key funding and programme partners, and supporting delivery of Orbis UK integrated marketing campaigns

ii) Implementing grant communication plans by creating content for website, social media and press activities for key partnerships

iii) Protecting the reputation of Orbis UK through crisis comms management 3

Advocacy Manager

We are looking for an exceptional Advocacy Manager to work within our Policy and Strategic Partnerships team.  This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic international charity that shared the 1997 Nobel Peace-Prize.

You will be working with the Director of Policy and Strategic Partnerships in the development and delivery of MAG’s advocacy work, including leadership of MAG’s UK parliamentary engagement, and contribution to the European and US engagement strategies.

The successful candidate will have previous experience of engaging and influencing UK parliamentarians, including the House of Commons and House of Lords, in support of advocacy objectives through a variety of tactics. You will have up-to-date knowledge of the UK political scene, and key players for MAG’s focus areas, knowledge of UK parliamentary processes and influencing tactics. You will also have a proven track record of meeting targets and deadlines and an ability to build, manage and develop relationships with key stakeholders. Excellent coordination and communication skills will also be essential.

The role will involve travel in the UK and Internationally.

For this role, you must have

• Experience in indirect category management delivery in multi-stakeholders’ environment
• Category management introduction in a highly tactical driven environment
• Demonstrated experience of working as a procurement professional in an organisation with a proven track record of achieving procurement improvements and cost savings.
• A good technical appreciation and experience of several indirect procurement categories that include marketing.
• Experience on whole procurement cycle from challenging requirement, tender, negotiating, contractualisation and supplier relationship management

You will also possess excellent communication, interpersonal and influencing skills and be effective building relationships.
