Role Overview 

• Administrate SCOPE programme and manage SCOPE E-Learning Learning Management System 

• Develop educational resources in liaison with / to support Clinical Care Committee

• Under guidance from Head of Education, support the Virtalent consultant

• Support Head of Education implement capacity building strategy

Oversee SCOPE, World Obesity’s education programme including: 

• Update, and develop new online modules with input of CCC members / working groups and module developers 

• Develop marketing and communications material (including website, newsletter, and advertising resources) for the education programme 

• Track financial performance of SCOPE E-Learning platform 

• Ensure administration of SCOPE: Accreditation scheme (external courses and online modules); Fellowship scheme, and Certification scheme

• Edit module content using software where needed 

• Manage / respond to documents submitted for Accreditation or Fellowship 

• Administrate the Learning Management System (LMS) 

• Respond to user queries and troubleshoot issues. Where needed, consult with support services offered by LMS provider and software providers to resolve problems 

• Project manage upgrade to new LMS platform and conversion of modules to new format, working with LMS providers and module developers as needed 

• Liaise with translation services to develop translated modules 

• Support the event in conjunction with the Clinical Care Committees and regional members

• Generate website, flyer, and e-shot content 

• Coordinate communication for the School

• Work with Communications Manager to implement SCOPE Communications Strategy

About Woolwich Service Users Project (WSUP)

WSUP is a grassroots charity providing holistic support for people experiencing homelessness, poverty, addiction, and mental health challenges. With a focus on lived experience and implementation of trauma-informed practice, we offer a range of essential services, from haircuts and healthcare screenings to wellbeing activities and community advocacy. 

In recognition of our impact, WSUP won the Best of Royal Greenwich Business Award 2024 in the Health and Wellbeing category, highlighting our commitment to tackling health inequalities and improving community wellbeing.

We are looking for a passionate Health Coordinator to lead our efforts in improving healthcare access, preventing homelessness, and supporting public health initiatives in the community.

The Health Coordinator will play a key role in connecting people to essential healthcare services, strengthening early intervention work, and supporting community-led public health initiatives. The role will also focus on homelessness prevention and ensuring that people face challenges with housing, mental health, and substance use receive the right support at the right time.

This role is ideal for someone with experience in public health, healthcare coordination, or homelessness support who is committed to addressing health inequalities in Greenwich.

Key Responsibilities

1. Access to healthcare and preventive support

• Implement a pre-treatment approach across all WSUP’s activities, ensuring that people who are not yet ready to engage with formal healthcare services receive support and information, including harm reduction, peer mentorship and stabilisation services.
• Link people to healthcare providers, mental health services and addiction recovery programs.
• Monitor preventative care initiatives, including TB and Hepatitis C screenings, to promote early detection and intervention.
• Lead public health campaigns to increase awareness, challenge stigma and promote access to healthcare.
• Develop partnerships with GPs, the Rough Sleeping Health Working Group and local health teams to coordinate care and share resources.
• Use data-driven insights to identify gaps in services and advocate for improved health provision.

2. Prevent homelessness

• Implement a casework framework to support people at risk of homelessness.
• Develop referral pathways with GP practices to ensure healthcare professionals can refer people at risk of housing instability.
• Collaborate with housing organisations and local authorities to secure rapid interventions for those facing homelessness.
• Monitor and evaluate outcomes using the In-Form Community Case Management System (CMS) to improve service effectiveness.

3. Strengthen volunteer and safeguarding capacity

• Recruit, train and mentor Peer Support Volunteers, ensuring they are equipped to provide outreach and advocacy.
• Ensure strong safeguarding practices across all health and homelessness prevention initiatives.
• Engage with the community to shape WSUP's health programs based on lived experiences and local needs.
• Build long-term capacity, embedding Trauma-Informed Care (TIC) and Psychologically Informed Environments (PIE) into WSUP’s services.

Person Specification

Essential skills & experience

• Experience working in healthcare (non-clinical), public health, social work, or homelessness services.
• Strong knowledge of health inequalities, mental health challenges and addiction recovery pathways.
• Experience implementing pre-treatment approaches or harm reduction models in community settings.
• Ability to develop and manage partnerships with healthcare providers and local services.
• Experience working with people experiencing homelessness, poverty, or addiction.
• Strong data management skills, ideally with experience using case management systems (e.g., In-Form CMS).
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and empower individuals with lived experience.

St John Ambulance works at the heart of communities, supporting and enabling them to access and receive physical and mental health first aid. Job Summary

Young Responders is an exciting project that started delivering street first aid sessions during 2023 as part of St John Ambulance. The project was created to engage and empower young people from diverse communities who face the greatest health inequities to become active health citizens, through practical physical first aid and mental awareness sessions relevant to the challenges they face. 

The programme is aimed at young people aged 11 to 25, who would not typically come through our doors delivering first aid training to young people from under-served communities. In 2023 the Young Responders team delivered session to almost 16,000 Young People and over 2024 they aim to reach a further 20,000 Young People, if not more. 

Working as part of the team as a Facilitator you will support the growth of the service and be responsible for directly leading and delivering first aid training sessions with community organisations and educational settings. This role will also offer pastoral support to our growing Volunteer team offering mentoring and guidance to those delivering sessions supporting their welfare and wellbeing. 

This is a 35 hours per week role and we are looking for someone who is empathetic and feels passion about supporting Young People. The role is to cover London so travel is essential. 

Required Knowledge, Skills & Experience

• Experience in Youth Work or working with young people in a community context
• Experience of planning and/or the delivery of community-based training
• Experience of safeguarding and willing to undertake Safeguarding training relevant to the role
• Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels, verbally and in writing
• Understanding of Equality, Diversity & Inclusion and issues around social mobility
• Ability to work well in a team and able to motivate young people and volunteers
• Due to the nature of the role you will need to hold a full, UK driving licence (maximum 6 points) and have access to your own vehicle

About the Role 

• Work collaboratively with the Project Coordinators to plan the delivery of young responder first aid sessions in the community
• Work with the Partnerships Manager to identify and build partnerships with local organisations and educational settings to support project delivery
• Engage with a range of stakeholders both internally and externally to St John Ambulance
• Liaise with the Delivery Teams to promote the project in the community
• Effectively provide pastoral support and guidance to the Volunteer team to ensure their welfare and wellbeing
• Be aware of the contextual safeguarding issues that might arise, raising concerns and supporting young people in accordance with St John Ambulance policy
• Ensure training sessions held in the community are risk assessed and registered as per current St John Ambulance procedures

The Development Coordinator will support the Head of Development (incoming) to reach the organisation's fundraising targets to enable us to deliver our ambitious outdoor exhibition and engagement programmes. The role will include writing funding applications and reporting to funders on existing grants, supporting fundraising activity, undertaking prospect research and maintaining fundraising systems.

The Development Coordinator will deliver practical and essential support to the organisation and would suit someone with a passion for arts and community with imagination, strong writing skills and an ambition to build on existing fundraising experience. The International Organization for Migration in the United Kingdom (IOM UK) delivers a range of programming to support migrants, both in the UK and internationally, including projects focusing on labour migration, migration and development, protection, and community cohesion. 

Under the overall supervision of the Chief of Mission (COM) and direct supervision of the Programme Coordinator and in close coordination with the Regional Thematic Specialist  (RTS) at the Regional Office (RO) and relevant Divisions/Departments /Units at Headquarters (HQ), the Senior Project Manager will be responsible and accountable for managing, coordinating and overseeing the activities of the North Africa Migration and Development (NAMAD) project.

The NAMAD project aims to enhance skills and labour market integration for migrant and host communities, and to strengthen protection support for vulnerable migrants, in Algeria, Egypt and Tunisia. Based on the needs in each country context, IOM’s targeted interventions will address specific barriers and gaps by offering a range of skills development training, and by providing tailored humanitarian and protection for migrants in vulnerable situations. This will include provision of shelter, case management, multi-purpose cash assistance to meet basic needs, medical support, mental health and psychosocial support (MHPSS) and legal counselling.

The incumbent will coordinate with country missions in delivery of project activities, monitoring and evaluation also liaise with external stakeholders on matters related to communications, project development and reporting, as well as may represent IOM in external forums and meetings.

We are looking for a Societies Development Coordinator to provide accurate, consistent and innovative support to the 400+ clubs and societies, committees and volunteers. We are seeking a motivated MAP Programme Coordinator to lead the Migrants’ Aspiration Programme (MAP) to guide and support emerging migrant leaders from across London. 

The successful candidate will have responsibility to manage the delivery of this programme, including facilitating or co-facilitating all live workshops,supporting those participating on the programme, building partnerships, and working closely with the MRN team to make this a programme success.

This role will suit a candidate that has strong experience in working with migrant communities, supporting and managing volunteers, and with excellent project management skills.

This is a new role in our Participation Team to help us deliver work that amplifies the voices of people with lived experience to find solutions to homelessness and health inequalities. The post holder will lead a few projects and partnerships, with responsibility for planning and delivering activities and monitoring their progress.

Some examples of current projects are:

• Coordinating and supporting a group of six people with lived experience to co-design an immersive audio story and campaign to improve the health of people living in temporary accommodation in London. 

• Working with the City of London Corporation to embed meaningful co-production practices in their homelessness services; bringing people with experience of homelessness, frontline staff, and commissioners together to improve service design and delivery. 

Your main task will be to coordinate groups of people with lived experience of homelessness and health inequalities, alongside Groundswell peers and colleagues, services, local authorities, funders and policymakers.

As a Recruitment Coordinator, you'll support the wider Recruitment team in providing a first-class recruitment service to both hiring managers and candidates.

Supporting the recruitment for both our retail and office roles, you'll play a key role in the day-to-day coordination of the recruitment service including:

About you

Working arrangements

This is a hybrid role, where your work will be dual located between your home and our London office. This is a job-share position, working with another Recruitment Coordinator working Thursday and Friday.

Main Responsibilities

· Assisting the CEO and the Executive Team Members in the development and delivery of the Society’s many activities and projects to ensure all tasks are being completed within timelines, effectively and to high standards

· Supporting the Conferences and Events Manager in the development and running of an extensive programme of network events and workshops, and the Society’s annual conference

· Promoting the Society and its events on social media platforms including LinkedIn, Bluesky, and X

· Scheduling meetings, organising papers, and some note/minute taking, as required

· Ensuring all actions are recorded and completed following Meetings of the Board of Trustees and standing committee and working group meetings.

· Developing an understanding of the Society’s CRM (Customer Relationship Management) systems and managing related data.

· Ensuring the SRHE website is kept up to date, in liaison with other team members

· Providing quality customer service for members and external contacts

Qualifications, skills and experience

You will need to demonstrate that you possess the following qualifications, skills and experience:

· Demonstrable experience in a team support role or an administrative assistant role

· Excellent organisation and administration skills

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Good numeracy skills

· Excellent knowledge/application of office IT systems (Microsoft Office: Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel)

· Familiarity with website maintenance and basic website management

· Managing, maintaining and manipulating databases

· Preferred education is to undergraduate level with an interest in higher education provision
