The role
To lead on the development and delivery of BDF’s commercial learning and development offer. The L&D Business Development Manager will maintain a network of external training delivery partners (associate trainers) and will coordinate and track outsourcing of training to these partners as appropriate to enable us to scale our L&D offer
The role will also be responsible for maintaining and, where necessary, developing the BDF training content.
The requirement
- Experience of delivering training on diversity and inclusion, management skills or customer service.
- Experience of designing learning and development products and programmes (within one organisation or for commercial use).
- Experience of working with a variety of (internal or external) stakeholders to understand and respond to their L&D needs.
- Experience of working to financial targets.
- Experience of writing proposals for training interventions.

Background: Gilbert White’s House and the Oates Collections, set in the idyllic village of Selborne in Hampshire, is recruiting for a Fundraising Officer to support the Income Generation Manager on a fixed term 1 year contract. This new position is made possible with support from The National Lottery Heritage Fund. Thanks to National Lottery players, we have been able to recruit for this fixed term contract. This is an opportunity to undertake an important supporting role for a unique, regional organisation within the heritage and conservation sectors, working alongside a committed team of staff, trustees and volunteers. The Role: You will play a key role in assisting with our fundraising activities, in particular undertaking grant and prospect research and support, as well as developing and running fundraising events alongside the Events Manager and Income Generation Manager during our celebratory 70th year. About the role:
The Homicide Service provide exceptional support to people affected by murder and manslaughter. We work closely with Major Crime Teams within police forces across England and Wales. The Homicide Service CYP team integrates fluidly with the Homicide Service Family and Peer Support teams to provide cohesive and effective advocacy and support service to eligible service users across England and Wales. We also support families of British Nationals murdered abroad and so work closely with the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office who refer into the Homicide Service.
You will lead a team of Team Leaders and CYP Caseworkers who deliver support in schools, community settings and homes. We offer a range of interventions to CYP including one to one support (digitally and in person); Peer Support and outreach within the community.
This role will develop the CYP service, constantly striving for the best outcomes for children and young people and so you will be driven to make a difference every day. You will demonstrate resilience and adaptability; understand the importance of professional boundaries; possess the excellent organisational skills required to manage a diverse workload with often competing priorities. An ability to work as part of a team, as well as managing your own diary/work priorities is a must.
As an Operations Manager you will need:

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced community engagement manager to lead the delivery of our community engagement strategy and Compassionate Neighbours project, both of which play a key role in the hospice’s ambitious plans to reach everyone who could benefit from our care.
The successful candidate will be a confident and proactive trainer and project manager, and experienced in delivering impactful and collaborative community engagement programmes.
You will work with the Associate Director of Communications and Engagement and the Community Engagement Officer to support and grow Trinity’s Compassionate Neighbours befriending project and take Trinity’s Community Engagement toolkit to communities across our catchment area.
You will work collaboratively with teams in the hospice, external stakeholders and people from across our community to deliver scheduled events and projects and use your creativity and networking skills to build new partnerships and activities.
The overall purpose of this role
- Deliver the Community Engagement function at Trinity in line with the objectives laid out in the Communications and Engagement strategy.
- Lead the Compassionate Neighbours project, which aims to reduce social isolation amongst people at the end of their lives.
- Recruit, train, supervise and support volunteers to become Compassionate Neighbours.
- Work with local communities to improve literacy and confidence in talking about death, dying and bereavement.
- Line-manage the Community Engagement Officer.

The successful candidate will have significant experience of grant-making in the UK and experience of working within operating charities. Given the Foundation’s focus on strengthening the capacity of non-profit organisations, this person will also have a deep understanding of capacity building needs of charities, with significant experience of assessing charitable organisations as a whole (looking at factors such as leadership and governance, impact, financial health, strategic plans etc.).

RABI is the farmers charity. At the core of RABI’s mission is the commitment to address the individual needs of farming people across England, Wales and Northern Ireland through practical, financial and emotional support.
The charity’s expert mental health support builds emotional resilience to help farming people feel better equipped to tackle the many uncertainties and challenges they face today, whilst its grants empower farming people to become financially resilient.
RABI’s financial support includes targeted, emergency cost-of-living grant campaigns including its Return to School and Winter Fuel campaigns. The charity has provided around £1/4 billion of direct financial support to the farming community over the past 25 years.
ROLE OVERVIEW:
This new role will be responsible for developing and managing RABI’s Individual Giving (IG) programmes across a variety of activities that support donor relations - including retention, acquisition and cultivation whilst delivering excellent supporter journeys. The successful candidate will have the necessary skills to be able to communicate effectively with our donors, enhancing and strengthening donor relations for long-term financial sustainability.
Our Individual Giving programme incorporates one-off donations, regular giving, digital fundraising, appeals and in-memory giving. We have plans for significant financial growth over the next five years with a projected fundraising income target of £10 million.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Oversee the day-to-day management of all IG programmes, appeals and campaigns in line with the overall fundraising strategy, targets and objectives.
• Develop and manage fundraising appeals, ensuring they are compelling and effective in generating support from both existing and new supporters.
• Develop and implement new IG initiatives including supporting GDPR and lead generation projects.
• Implement the delivery of excellent supporter care and stewardship processes ensuring all donors are appropriately thanked and stewarded.
• Plan and deliver activities that identify and cultivate donors (regular communications and meaningful updates etc) to increase engagement and conversion rates across all segments.
• Create, plan and implement multi-channel supporter-centric campaigns to drive engagement from new and existing supporters.
• Test, monitor and evaluate for insight and future planning of appeals and campaigns.
• Lead on the implementation of new IG programmes associated with IG such as raffles, lotteries etc.
• Strategically manage donor relationships including identifying and maintaining a High-Net-Worth Individuals portfolio for cultivation and long-term future legacy programmes.
• Utilise the CRM and other platforms for data maintenance, insights and reporting - using key learnings and insight for data segmentation and the delivery of timely targeted and engaging communications to supporters.
• Responsibility for line managing a small team, providing guidance and support to ensure effective execution of fundraising strategies, while also collaborating with external agencies to enhance campaign development and successful outputs.
• Work collaboratively with finance to manage and process Gift Aid claims.
• Ensure all fundraising activities comply with legal and regulatory requirements, including GDPR and the CIOF Code of Fundraising Practice.
• Actively participate in the staff appraisal scheme and be committed to training and development in line with RABI’s aims and objectives.
• Perform any other reasonable tasks as required by the Charity.
PERSON SPECIFICATION:
Essential
• Demonstrable experience within a similar IG role in the voluntary sector, with a proven track record in IG and donor management.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets from unrestricted donations.

• Planning, delivering and managing individual giving programmes with the ability to create and tailor engaging, emotive copy for a range of different channels.

This postholder will be an organised and flexible individual who is committed to supporting sexual health amongst young people living in Wandsworth, Richmond, Merton, Kingston (collectively known as "South West London"). You are able to balance process and programme management with relationship building and maintenance. You will manage the South West London Part-Time Outreach and Support Worker, and be responsible for any volunteers.
Programme
METRO work closely with our partner Spectra to deliver sexual health services in the London Boroughs of Wandsworth, Richmond, Merton, Kingston (South West London). In these Boroughs, METRO deliver the Come Correct free condom scheme (C-card), the National Chlamydia Screening Programme (NCSP) as well as Get It, an online scheme which offers condoms, lube, Chlamydia and Gonorrhoea screens.
METRO also delivers training and education, aimed at both young people and professionals working with young people, as well as community outreach and engagement to reach young people directly- particularly those who are most vulnerable to sexual ill health.
Our South West London services are supported by a sexual health office, and is linked to a team of sexual health workers who deliver similar sexual health services in different boroughs and counties.
Lady Margaret Hall is seeking a Database Manager to manage the database and gift and data processing in our Development Team.
It is an exciting time to join the Development Team. In 2028/29, LMH will celebrate its 150th anniversary. A significant fundraising campaign will be launched in May 2025. The Database Manager will play a vital role by supporting the delivery of the campaign – primarily through gift processing and reporting on progress. The College will also, alongside the University, be gradually migrating databases from DARS (Raisers Edge product) to a custom-built Microsoft CRM. The Database Manager will lead on managing this migration of data with support from the University DARS team.
The Development Team are hybrid working with a minimum of three days per week based in the office. The position includes some out-of-hours work for event attendance, for which TOIL will be given.
