About the role:
We are looking to appoint a Family Support Coordinator to support our care teams in delivering a high-quality family support service in the region, working with families and professionals to ensure the families we support have access to the services they need.
Reporting to the Family Support Manager and working in partnership with health, education, and social care professionals, you will take responsibility for sourcing practical goods and services in the region, applying for grants and benefits, as well as working with other charities or community providers to obtain goods, equipment or funds for families that Rainbow Trust do not provide directly.

The School:
Merchant Taylors’ School is a large Independent Boys’ School, situated in 280 acres of parkland in Northwood, Middlesex. The School was founded in 1561, is owned by the Merchant Taylors’ Educational Trust and moved to its present site in 1933. There are four distinct boys’ day schools on campus. The Nursery, the Pre-Prep & the Prep cater for 370 boys, while the Senior School has over 960 pupils. The Senior School employs over 110 teachers and 160 Support staff across Merchant Taylors’ School.
Main duties and responsibilities:
Fundraising
· Developing and innovating the school’s regular giving programme, the Merchant Taylors’ Fund, to ensure a consistent income stream and increased participation from alumni, parents and friends.
· In conjunction with external consultants, running our (currently) biennial telephone fundraising campaigns and Giving Days.
· Liaising with school departments, clubs and societies to identify exciting projects to motivate supporters.
· Segmenting and targeting recipients for appeals to ensure the greatest impact and returns.
· Devising the strategy for promoting legacy giving as a means of supporting Merchant Taylors’, and to implement this strategy to increase the number of known legacy pledges to the school.
Stewardship
· Establishing and running a comprehensive benefactor stewardship programme that thanks and stewards donors at all levels, including legacy pledges, through regular communication and events.
Reporting
· Reporting on progress against all objectives to the Development and Alumni Relations Sub-Committee of Governors.
· Where appropriate, working with the Development Executive (Events and Communications), to produce benefactor report publications and contribute to other Development publications.
· Ensuring that all contact with OMTs and parents is recorded on the Development Office’s database, the Raiser’s Edge.

INTRODUCTION
St George’s Hospital Charity manages a portfolio of over 200 Special Purpose Funds (SPFs), with a total over £3.6m. These funds, comprising donor-gifted and community-fundraised income, are designated to support specific wards, departments, research areas, or staff and patient groups. Each SPF is overseen by designated Fund Advisors, comprising staff from St George’s University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (the Trust) and City, St George’s University of London, who hold delegated authority for expenditure approvals and funding applications. With over 350 Fund Advisors, effective stewardship is crucial.
We have developed a new organisational strategy focused on enhancing our impact through grant-making, and we are now in an exciting phase of implementation. The Grants Funds Manager will play a central role in delivering this strategy, specifically by implementing a more streamlined and impactful approach to working with Fund Advisors and managing our SPF portfolio. This role will be pivotal in facilitating the transition to a more efficient and effective model of SPF giving. ABOUT THE ROLE
Purpose of the role
To support senior management, the board of trustees and the wider charity leadership team with the strategy implementation, the management and administration of the Charity’s SPFs. As a priority, in the next 12 months, this role is tasked to implement the SPF strategy which has been agreed by the Charity’s Board of Trustees. The strategy is to re-organise and restructure the shape of the SPF portfolio of funds to minimise administrative burden, maximise the charity’s flexibility in spending decisions and reflect the best possible structure of services in the hospital so that we can deliver our charitable purposes of advancing healthcare to maximum effect.
This is why we are looking for someone who has expertise in change management, stakeholder engagement and strategic communication who is able to understand Charity Commission guidance and apply it. These are the skills necessary to implement the SPF strategy.
The next stage of the strategy will require a very strong grasp of detail, strong and confident communication and organisational skills to ensure stakeholders understand planned changes, in order to secure their support for them.
Background to the role
This role was originally created to provide dedicated resource to optimise the efficiency of our SPF portfolio, and champion these SPFs both internally among the Charity’s staff and externally within the Trust and University.
This is a role which must operate at a micro and macro level, paying attention to the detail of management, administration and systems but also with the ability to think strategically and make recommendations to senior management and trustees. The Role

Responsibilities
Deliver on our communications work
· Develop engaging content that conveys National Voices messages to members, external stakeholders, and media (including managing the day to day running of social media platforms) to maximise the reach and impact of the organisation’s policy messages and funded project work
· Support the Policy and Communications Manager with media relations activity by drafting media statements, liaising with journalists and other media activity as required
· Create National Voices’ membership content, including member newsletters and member blogs
· Oversee and manage process of external design of National Voices reports with designer
· Manage the comms and events calendar and work with internal and external team to schedule project releases and other events

Our approach to hybrid working

We are looking for a proactive and creative marketing professional with at least five years’ experience marketing key initiatives for a recognised public institution or national brand. You’ll be hands-on, and equally comfortable planning campaigns and creating content yourself, with an excellent editorial eye across our different channels and a strong understanding of what drives public engagement.
You must be:
- A proactive strategist and executor, who is experienced in marketing a wide range of projects including ideally events to the public.
- Skilled in creating compelling marketing content across our owned channels.
- Experience of delivering effective advertising campaigns including liaising with suppliers, designers, photographers etc.
- An experienced marketeer - and experience of working in a cultural, charity, military or public organisation would be particularly desirable.

Capital Project Manager – St George the Martyr, Bloomsbury

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Capital Project Manager to lead the Development Stage of a major conservation and improvement project funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund. About the Role
As a Client Project Manager, you will play a key role in the delivery of our vision for the future of St George the Martyr, including saving the church, classed as Heritage at Risk, and creating a welcoming, active and inclusive church that engages people traditionally under-served by heritage. You will be responsible for managing and coordinating all areas of the PCC’s activity in the Development Stage of the capital project, supporting a team of specialist consultants and the Design Team. Working closely with the Rector and Project Board, you will lead the internal and external project team, ensuring the Client’s interests are represented throughout.

- Leading and managing all aspects of the capital project on behalf of the client.
- Coordinating and procuring the multi-disciplinary project team and consultants.

- Overseeing design development, procurement, risk, and programme delivery.

JOB PURPOSE
To provide the administration of ACF’s finance processes.
To support with other Operations functions including IT, HR, and office management.
KEY RESULT AREAS/PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Finance
Prepare invoice authorisation and payment process, ensuring invoices and expenses are recorded and approved appropriately, and payments made to suppliers in a timely manner.
Reconcile bank statements, accounting software, and CRM, to ensure accurate income and expenditure records.
Administer the corporate credit card scheme to ensure statements and transactions are approved, reconciled and accurate.
Issue and update membership invoices using CRM.
Manage outstanding debtor balances to ensure timely receipt of cash for ACF’s income.
Respond to member and supplier queries regarding invoices and payments.
Support cashflow management by maintaining a cashflow forecast.
HR
Maintain annual leave and sick leave records.
Support HR manager with onboarding new staff: issuing offer letters, contracts, new starter forms, sending reference requests and arranging IT set up.
Support HR manager with processing staff leavers: managing leaver checklists, issuing leaver letters, requesting the closure of IT accounts.
Update ACFs organisational chart and welcome handbook as required.
Ad hoc HR administration support around peak periods e.g. end of year reviews
Other
Support other Operations and Office Management functions as needed, including IT and office equipment, ensuring adequate levels of kitchen and office supplies, managing incoming post, and liaising with suppliers.

To be successful in this role, you will be a motivated, flexible individual, who is passionate about working with young people around their sexual health. The postholder will conduct outreach, education, and training in several settings depending on the need of different young people. These could be educational settings, youth settings, community events, sports settings, clubs and pubs. You will target vulnerable young people, such as Looked after Children (LAC), those who are Not in Education, Employment, or Training (NEET), those who come from areas of high deprivation and high need, and those with other increased risk factors, as well as young people aged 13-15 who are not yet able to access online services.
As part of your frontline work, you will encourage young people to sign up for a C-card, and if aged over 16, register to Get It in order to order condoms and lube from the website. When appropriate, you will refer young people into appropriate local sexual health services for contraception, emergency contraception, pregnancy testing, STI screening and treatment.
Programme
METRO work closely with our partner Spectra to deliver sexual health services in the London Boroughs of Wandsworth, Richmond, Merton and Kingston. In these Boroughs, METRO deliver the Come Correct free condom scheme (C-card), the National Chlamydia Screening Programme (NCSP) as well as Get It, an online scheme which offers condoms, lube, Chlamydia and Gonorrhoea screens.
METRO also delivers training and education, aimed at both young people and professionals working with young people, as well as community outreach and engagement to reach young people directly- particularly those who are most vulnerable to sexual ill health.
