FarmAbility is a local independent charity that is committed to improving the quality of lives through access to meaningful activities for adults who have a learning disability.  We deliver farming and horticultural-based programmes in partnership with community-based and local farms and gardens. These programmes offer people who have a learning disability the opportunity to engage in daily purposeful activities that not only improve physical and mental health and wellbeing, but also foster a sense of community, and allow the development and strengthening of their skills and abilities.

We are recruiting to fill a new, National Lottery funded post, to support in developing our fundraising capacity.  We are looking for a person with experience in organising community fundraising campaigns, regular giving schemes and writing applications to small and medium trusts and foundations.  We want someone who has enthusiasm for our work which they can translate into the written and spoken word and help to generate support for our activities in different fundraising environments.  The new Fundraising Officer will be engaged with our mission and eloquent in their expression of our impact.  They will work closely with our Impact, Monitoring and Pathways Lead to better present our outcome messaging to funders and will also work closely with our Communications and Events Officer to plan and deliver community-based fundraising activities for our supporters to engage in.  They’ll be creative and great at telling our story and matching our work with the priorities of different stakeholders.

The Administrator will play a crucial role in supporting the operations of the e-Assessment Association. This position is responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the Association’s daily activities, including membership management, event coordination, communication, and financial administration. Marketing Assistant is a new post at Open Clasp which will work closely with our producing team to deliver marketing campaign plans for our productions, community events & training programmes. They will schedule social media content, support in the creation of written, film & audio content for our audiences and monitor our website and social media analytics.

We aim to give people, organisations and government the knowledge, support and inspiration they need to understand, manage and reduce the use of energy in buildings. 

Role Summary 

Our Project Officers are fundamental to the successful delivery of NEF’s programmes and projects. You will be responsible for core project deliverables, which will likely include significant contact with customers, members and funders of NEF. You will provide advice and guidance to the public through our helpline and case management services, managing a caseload of live customers throughout their end-to-end journey with NEF. You could be involved in any one of our work streams, which could include liaising with people in fuel poverty, young people and those seeking support and advice on how to reduce the carbon foot print of their home. 

Alongside this, you could be delivering awareness sessions or training to employers or the public; certainly, you’ll be representing NEF at public meetings and events. This role is very much about communication and people, but you’ll also need be organised, diligent and able to navigate various systems and processes. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Provide residents with information and advice via our telephone helpline, including checking their eligibility for grant funding for energy saving measures and making onward referrals to installers. 

• Provide advice regarding energy efficiency and fuel switching. 

• Prepare and deliver training to a range of audiences, providing information on the programmes and funding available. 

• Liaise between householders and their chosen installers to ensure the smooth installation of appropriate energy efficiency measures. 

• Researching and collaborating with potential clients to join our membership programmes and taking this through to sign up. 

• Manage a range of systems and processes, including relevant CRM systems and/or databases. 

• Adhere fully to NEF Quality Management Systems (QMS). 

• Provide secretariat services to programme steering groups, including arranging meetings, suggesting agendas, taking minutes and ensuring all participants are cognisant with the aims of the programme.

We're seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Young Person’s Worker. In this role, you will play a vital role in providing support to at-risk young people who are experiencing homelessness.

Your mission: to support and empower young people to develop the lifelong tools they need to lead fulfilling lives outside the confines of traditional services. You will carry a caseload of clients who you will formulate a comprehensive support and safety plan with, which forms part of the ongoing casework, promoting independence and preparing young people for moving into independent accommodation, and employment and education.

As the Young Person's Worker, you will be working within a strengths and recovery framework embedded within a trauma informed approach to ensure client needs and aspirations are at the centre of the support planning process. You will be the lead worker overseeing the support and development of the young person’s needs and aspirations. Job purpose:
To support the Journals Manager who oversees and manages the full journal development and delivery process. This includes securing excellent relations with publishers, editors, editorial panels, trustees and authors as well as developing journal strategy in conjunction with many of the same stakeholders. 

Key responsibilities:

Support and provide administration for the Society’s editorial panels, Journal Webinar Advisory Group, Discussion Meetings Committee and Publications Network

• Proactively support the editors, chair and members of journal committees and groups as directed by the Journals Manager. Support journal editorial and production processes

• Liaise regularly with the publisher’s editorial office to ensure the smooth running of the journal peer review process and effective support of editors, reviewers, and authors

The project support officer will support the brilliant work of our Wilder Landscapes team, a small but very active team within Suffolk Wildlife Trust’s conservation department. A lot of the team's work is off-reserve and project based, working with farmers, landowners, communities and projects beyond our nature reserves to protect and restore nature.  The project officer will have 3 key areas of work:

Support Wilder Landscapes Project delivery: : Track project progress; • Assisting with project and funding applications; • Supporting contract issuance and ensuring compliance with best practice; • Supporting project claims; • Manage tendering processes and support assessment of tender returns; • Support project and contract work billing, working with the finance team; • Support client relationship management with long term recurring projects. • Ensure reporting of progress against SWT’s KPI’s is maintained and project successes support this.

Increase external recognition of the Wilder Landscapes Team and their work:• Liaise with the team to gather news items • Create regular public facing news pieces that celebrate our successful work, for a range of audiences; • Develop new channels of communication through external collaboration with media outlets, working closely with the communications manager.

Support the delivery of excellence in training and engagement events: • Support the delivery of excellent training events in close collaboration with experts in the team. • Work with the Wilder Landscapes Manager, Senior Farm Adviser and others to develop opportunities to deliver accredited training as an income generating activity.

About the Role

Via home visits, you will work with each tenant to agree a support plan to enable them to maintain their tenancy and move towards independent living.

You will build strong working relationships with local services to ensure a coordinated approach to supporting tenants, whilst at the same time developing and maintaining good working relationships with other local services and organisations that provide support services to tenants.

You will complete and update records of interactions with tenants on the internal database and input data accurately onto monitoring spreadsheets.

The Fundraising and Partnerships Assistant will support the Corporate Partnerships Manager and the wider Fundraising Team to deliver and develop our engaging programme of events, and exceptional supporter care and stewardship.

Key responsibilities

•  Provide excellent customer care to supporters, community groups, team, and volunteers.
•  Plan logistics, and delivery of events like the Bath Half Marathon.
•  Build strong relationships across the charity to deliver events and respond to queries.
•  Deliver engaging communications to enhance supporter experience.
•  Co-ordinate and deliver tours of the BCDH, including animal care demonstrations.
•  Support our incredible Volunteer Community Fundraising groups to meet income targets.
•  Manage income processing, coding, and reconciliation of donations.
•  Ensure supporter data is securely managed in line with GDP

About Us

The Royal Parks (TRP) is a charity created in March 2017. We manage over 5,000 acres of diverse parkland, rare habitats and historic buildings and monuments in eight Royal Parks across London. These are: Hyde Park, Kensington Gardens, The Green Park, St James’s Park, The Regent's Park and Primrose Hill, Greenwich Park, Richmond Park and Bushy Park.

We also manage other important public spaces including Brompton Cemetery and Victoria Tower Gardens. Our eight Royal Parks and other public spaces are among the most visited attractions in the UK with 77 million visits every year.

We are now looking for a Retail Assistant to join our team in our first flagship shop, the Boat House, on a full time, permanent basis for 36 hours per week.

The Role

As a Retail Assistant, you will support our retail operations, primarily at the Boat House in Hyde Park and potentially progressing to other outlets.

Supporting the Retail Manager and Supervisor, you will help to meet sales targets, provide excellent customer service and ensure exemplary visual merchandising and housekeeping standards.

You will also process deliveries, fulfil eCommerce orders, support the management of team rotas and create opportunities for upselling, encouraging donations.

Please note, this role will involve lifting and manoeuvring stock.

About You

To be considered as a Retail Assistant, you will need:

• Excellent customer service standards
• Excellent time keeping skills
• A good level of numeracy
