Belong's restorative justice serivce at HMP The Mount, a Category C male prison in Hemel Hempstead, provides hope, rehabilitation and recovery for prisoners. The service enables prisoners to peacefully resolve conflicts that they have in prison, whether conflicts are with other prisoners or with staff members. It also helps individuals to build positive relationships, healthy conflict resolution skills and access support with disadvantages they face. HMP The Mount prison holds sentenced men aged 21 years and over, with sentences ranging from a few weeks to life.
As part of the service, Belong offers prisoners the chance to take part in restorative justice to move forward after violent or antisocial behaviour incidents at the prison. For prisoners who have committed violence or antisocial behaviour at HMP The Mount, restorative justice is a chance to take responsibility for their harmful behaviour and to receive support to tackle the root causes of this behaviour. For prison staff members or prisoners who have been victims of violent or antisocial behaviour incidents, restorative justice provides a safe space to share with harmers the impact of that violence and antisocial behaviour has had on them. It also gives victims of violence and antisocial behaviour support to cope and recover after these incidents.
Our restorative justice practitioner position provides an exciting opportunity for a reliable, organised, compassionate person, with experience of working within the criminal justice sector and preferably within prisons, to deliver restorative justice interventions as part of this programme and assist in ensuring the project’s effective, day to day operation.

Hours of work: Full-time, with occasional evening and weekend work required
Pay scale: £30,000 per annum, on a fixed-term 9 – 12month maternity cover contract

Responsibilities
· Publicise the restorative justice service and its potential benefits, to prisoners and prison staff via outreach work on prison wings and via presentations and briefings to prison staff.
· Establish and maintain excellent working relationships with staff at HMP The Mount, including senior management, case workers and prison officers.
· Attend and contribute to multi agency meetings, including on safer custody, interdepartmental risk management, reducing reoffending.
· Co-deliver restorative justice training and provide support for prisoners and prison staff members to enable them to become skilled restorative justice facilitators.
· Participate actively in line management meetings with the Service Manager and, in between line management meetings, update management of progress and of any issues arising, in order to receive advice and guidance.
· Analyse complex, sensitive and potentially disturbing information from PNMOIS and Oasys, databases regarding prisoners; victims and prison staff in order to undertake dynamic, written risk and needs assessments regarding the delivery of restorative justice interventions, on a case-by-case basis.
· Assess the suitability of prisoners, individuals harmed and their supporters for participation in restorative justice interventions.
· Provide preparatory and follow up support to all participants in restorative justice interventions and make referrals to other agencies inside and outside of the prison, as appropriate.
· Make practical arrangements for restorative justice interventions to take place within the prison, including organising room bookings, refreshments provision, visitors passes, appropriate prison staff escorts.
· Facilitate restorative interventions as appropriate in accordance with the Restorative Justice Council’s Best Practice Guidance for Restorative Practice and with the policies and procedures of Belong and His Majesty’s Prison Service.
· Maintain detailed, accurate and up to date records of work undertaken with parties involved in restorative interventions and share information according to protocols agreed by Belong and His Majesty’s Prison Service.
· Assist with the collection and electronic storage of data relating to the evaluation of the programme.
· Adhere to Belong’s Code of Conduct and its policies on Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults and Children, Anti – Corruption, Anti – Bribery, Complaints and Comments, Confidentiality and Single Equality.
· Undertake any other duties as may be appropriate to the level and nature of the post.
Person Specification
Knowledge and Experience
· At least two years’ experience of working within the criminal justice sector, preferably including work in prisons.
· At least two years’ experience of building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders relating to a given project.
· Experience facilitating restorative justice and/or mediation interventions.
· Awareness of the issues that may be faced by adult men who are serving prison sentences.
· Understanding of the challenges prison staff deal with in responding to conflicts and violent incidents in prison.
· Good knowledge of individuals' emotional and mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities
To work closely with the Evidence & Advocacy Manager (EAM) to develop and implement a series of impactful evidence and research projects that support our advocacy messaging, as well as internal and external learning for inclusive programmes and advisory work. These projects will build on established workstreams alongside developing new ones to maintain and extend CBM UK’s evidence base.
Disability Evidence, Policy Research and Learning
With EAM support the ongoing CBM UK Research and Evidence workstream, through:
1. Translating evidence from our programming countries and projects to produce and contribute to a range of resources to influence FCDO and other stakeholders. Tasks to include managing and maintaining established outputs, such as the CBM UK Project Evidence Briefs and Disability Voices paper series, generating new thematic papers, as well as policy and position papers to enhance effective advocacy submissions, briefing notes, blogs and other messaging on key disability rights issues.
2. Working collaboratively within CBM UK and across CBM Global to help develop and to deliver new policy research, drawing on mixed methods and data sources including national and international databases, using qualitative approaches including participatory or citizen generated data, and new empirical work.
3. Supporting Programme staff to improve impact and learning practice in CBM UK funded projects, provide technical support for the implementation of programme related research and data collection, including MEAL.
4. Providing technical research support into the development of proposals for new grant funded projects, and, where successful, support the management of subsequent research projects.
5. Keeping abreast of new research and publications on key themes and priority concerns within the CBM UK Advocacy and Influencing Strategy, taking into consideration sector trends and developments, and ensure this is disseminated to relevant staff within the CBM UK Team.
6. Keeping watch on UK policy environment and conducting research and analysis to support CBM UK advocacy messaging on disability and human rights.
Dissemination and Communications
1. Maintaining and developing internal knowledge management systems for research and information on disability inclusion and rights, and related areas, to be used by Advocacy, Programmes and Fundraising & Communications teams.
2. Ensuring communication plans are developed with CBM UK and Global Federation colleagues for CBM UK evidence outputs.
3. Maintaining the Advocacy and Influencing pages of the CBM UK website ensuring rights-based communication and focus to support CBM UK and Global campaigns.
4. Liaison with Fundraising & Communications colleagues to amplify media stories, case studies and compelling evidence from country programming for advocacy purposes.
5. Participation in and building good relationships with UK-based disability and development networks, including relevant research networks and membership of the BOND Disability and Development Group.
6. Supporting the professional publication and printing of CBM UK outputs, for dissemination at advocacy engagements and public events.
Other
1. Work with other CBM UK teams to maximise cross fertilisation opportunities and integrated working.

The Head of Fundraising is an exciting new role developed for the Society to increase fundraising and develop additional income streams to enhance the sustainability of the Society. They will help deliver the Transformation Plan, an exciting new project for Scotland’s oldest learned antiquarian Society to help deliver the Society’s vision: “Scotland’s past is for everyone to research, share, enjoy and protect, home and abroad”.
The Transformation Plan includes the acquisition and redevelopment of a B-listed building in central Edinburgh to co-create the most inclusive, low-carbon and heritage-rich space to work, visit and participate. This will become a heritage hub for Scotland’s past, helping to bring heritage alive for a wide range of public audiences. This role will provide the necessary vision, leadership, and fundraising skills which will enable the Society to achieve its fundraising targets and enhance its development program.
They will be an effective fundraiser and key contact for grant giving organisations, personal donations and legacies. They will report directly to the Director sharing collective responsibility to deliver the Society’s strategy and vision.
Initially on a 2.5-year fixed term contract, with the possibility of extension subject to funding, the post will work as part of the senior management team and liaise directly with staff, Councillors (trustees), members (known as Fellows) and other organisations and individuals to ensure the successful delivery of their responsibilities.
The post will have the following immediate priorities:
· Helping develop and submit a major stage one Development Phase National Lottery Heritage Fund (NLHF) grant application in collaboration with the Director and others, creating an engaging and successful proposal and case for support (part of an overall c£6m Transformation Plan project)
· Development and delivery of a major fundraising campaign based on personal giving, grant applications and other fundraising activities
· Working with staff and Councillors to develop the required transformation of the Society to deliver maximum public benefit in line with the Society’s vision and mission

Main Responsibilities
Strategy and planning
· Development and delivery of a fundraising campaign (including grant funding, individual and organisational donations, and other fundraising activities) for a c£6m project, setting targets in collaboration with the Director and meeting them, creating engaging and successful proposals and cases for support

Person Specification
The Head of Fundraising will have substantial fundraising and management experience, a talent for building relationships and a proven track record in securing funds from statutory sources, foundations, trusts and major donors. They will be a key contact for grant giving organisations, personal donations and legacies. They will report directly to the Director sharing collective responsibility to deliver the Society’s strategy and vision. As such they will need the following:

· At least three years’ experience in a similar role
· Demonstrable record of major capital fundraising leadership and delivery, ideally within a charitable organisation but others will be considered
· A track record of successful fundraising, including sizeable NLHF applications
· Experience of utilising the strength of an organisational brand for charity/business development

Further Information
This post is an initial 2.5-year (30 month) full-time contract which will be extendible subject to funding. There will be a short probationary period during which time your skills and suitability for the position will be assessed. Development of fundraising for the Transformation Plan will be the immediate priority. A lot of work has already been undertaken by the Society in preparing for an NLHF application as part of this, but the skill and experience of this post will ensure it has the maximum chance of success. This will include liaising with others, including NLHF staff and our consultants, the More Partnership.
The tasks and role will develop in line with the requirements in that application and the implementation of the Transformation Plan and will be reviewed after the submission of the initial NLHF bid. However, the core responsibilities will remain the development and delivery of successful fundraising strategies, increasing income to the Society.

The Training Coordinator will support specialist staff across KCLSU to design and deliver a range of training spanning the breadth of community leadership, including but not limited to: student group management, event management, facilitation skills, volunteer management, project management, assessing impact, health & safety and safeguarding, effective representation, influencing & campaigning, community organising, protecting student rights, inclusion & accessibility, among others.
This role forms a crucial element of the KCLSU and KCL Leadership Learning Initiative, a joint project designed to foster leadership skills among students, particularly those from under-represented backgrounds.

Student-facing Training
- Lead the operational planning and delivery of our student-facing training programmes, including training our student group leaders, our elected sabbatical officers and our academic representatives, among others
- Work with relevant staff across KCLSU to implement the KCLSU Training Strategy and share and promote best practice across the organisation
- Work with relevant KCLSU teams to ensure consistency across student-facing training and ongoing guidance and support through the Community Development Framework and the Services Framework, and ensuring consistency with policy and compliance
Training Design & Development
- Develop best practice guidance for training design and delivery in line with the KCLSU Training Strategy.
- With oversight of all training content, work with the Training Manager to ensure we are utilising efficient and effective methods of delivery.

Service Development
- Develop the annual operating plans for the Community Engagement Department's Training, ensuring ongoing quality improvement of our training provision in line with KCLSU's strategic plan.

- Monitor key performance indicators, managing processes for measuring and reporting on impact and outcomes.

The Barnsley Refugee Advice Project (BRAP) service exists to enable people seeking asylum and refugees to live with safety, connected to the expert support they need to live with dignity and independence in their local community, and able to rebuild their lives in Barnsley. BRAP is a partnership project with Barnsley CVS funded for 5 years by the National Community Lottery Fund, funded until 2026. The BRAP service plays a vital role bringing together statutory and voluntary and community sector partners to develop collaborative solutions to shared issues such as access to legal advice, while also providing solutions to key service gaps such as immigration and housing and welfare advice.

About us at the NCT
A lot of people know NCT for our antenatal classes, and we want to continue to support as many parents and families as we can to access evidence-based information. But we are also much more than this. We are a charity that campaigns on the issues that matter to parents. We run breastfeeding and infant feeding support, provided by specialist counsellors. We run thousands of free community activities and events across the UK, led by our fantastic volunteers and peers. And we support women and families facing specific challenges, such as social isolation, feeding difficulties or poor mental health.
Our Hackney Parent Support project is commissioned by Hackney Council, to offer infant feeding support across the region in both community and hospital settings and parenting courses for families throughout the Hackney region. The support is delivered by staff and volunteer peer supporters.
We are seeking a capable service delivery manager who is passionate about supporting parents and infant feeding to lead this project. This role is community-based and will include travel across the Hackney region with some homeworking (expenses will be reimbursed).
About the Role
You will be responsible for managing the parent support project in its entirety across the region. Some of the key responsibilities of the role include:
· Leading on perinatal peer support across the region.
· Managing the project staff team.
· Having a good working knowledge and understanding of the local demographics in the Hackney area and ensuring all services are accessible and inclusive.
· Engaging with communities through networking with other local organisations.
· Report progress on project status, timelines and delivery against key performance indicators.
· Participate in local perinatal networking/task and finish projects, so that the programme is an integral part of the local perinatal and infant feeding provision landscape and is able to advocate for and chaperone perinatal service users at a strategic level, raising the profile of NCT’s perinatal offer locally and nationally.
You must have good communication skills and be able to build relationships and create a rapport with a wide range of people easily. This is a large project and covers multiple locations so you must be able to confidently prioritise your own work, be highly organised and able to work independently.
Being able to make decisions and respond appropriately to our commissioners, staff, peer supporters and parents and other external stakeholders is essential, alongside good IT skills– including Outlook, Word, and Excel – and you must have good attention to detail.
It is essential for this post that you undertake the training to become an NCT Breastfeeding Peer Supporter. This requires lived experience of breastfeeding. The training can be undertaken within your working hours. There will also be training on the EPEC (Empowering Parents, Empowering Communities course) provided by South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust.
The role is between 28 - 35 hours per week which will be predominantly Monday to Friday within the working day, however, will include occasional evening and weekends. This is a community-based role travelling across Hackney borough, with some home working.

We are about to embark on delivering an ambitious new strategy to drive the conversation around mental health and ensure young people are at the heart of that discussion. To realise our vision we need someone to ensure our newly established celebrity function continues to reach new and hardly reached audiences with our message.
Change is possible. Our tenacious and talented External Affairs Team has secured broad coverage across the media with major campaigns and policy breakthroughs and secured and significant new funding for services in recent years. More broadly, YoungMinds has built a huge social media presence and has lined up an exciting number of partnerships with huge potential for growth.
You will be tasked with delivering an exciting ambassadors programme, building on our existing presence, by deepening the partnerships we have and seizing new opportunities to deliver our message. You will work with our partners to create exciting content which can be used by our media, social, fundraising and other existing channels to ensure the voices of young people are heard.
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
- experience of identifying and working directly with relevant celebrities, talent and their representatives, building mutually beneficial relationships, pitching ideas to agents and securing support
- experience of working with high-level external stakeholders
- briefing and preparing people for media events and set pieces such as service visits and interviews
- able to work across a number of different departments or teams, ensuring they are aligned and working towards the same goals
- understanding of YoungMinds’ Vision, Mission and Values and the organisation’s commitment to its anti-racism, justice, equity, diversity and inclusion (AJEDI) work
- an ability to travel to meetings within the UK as well as the ability and willingness to work flexibly and remotely for events and other meetings. This includes occasional evenings and weekend working for which notice and Time off in Lieu (TOIL) will be provided.

Working with the Volunteering team and other key staff, this role assists in promoting the benefits and opportunities of the Give & Gain Programme at EMERGE. You will help us to recruit additional volunteers from the local community and beyond, by identifying and connecting with new networks and operational partners. You’ll be a strong communicator, happy to jump on the phone or take the lead at in-person recruitment events. You’ll be an experienced administrator with good data management skills to ensure we can accurately report to funders on our outreach and track the volunteers who participate in the programme. An understanding of handling confidential data, meeting targets and deadlines, and experience in recruitment are key skills for this role.
