About us
We work in collaboration with grassroots groups, campaigners and frontline organisations through a legal hub model building capacity through legal education and advocating through legal action across three overlapping priority areas: state accountability; housing and land; migrants’ rights & racial justice. We mainly do this through legal representation and strategic litigation in public law, actions against public authorities and housing law. We are also instructed to represent a number of individuals and groups/organisations in public inquiries, including the Undercover Policing Inquiry and the Covid Inquiry.
We have grown steadily and cautiously since becoming independent in 2019 and we are now seeking to consolidate the organisation’s core functions.
PILC is currently made up of 20 staff, hybrid-working from our offices in Cambridge Heath, E2.
About you
We are seeking a People Manager with expertise in fostering a positive and healthy working culture to reflect and feed into PILC’s movement lawyering approach.
Whilst you do not need to have prior charity experience, you will feel closely aligned to PILC’s organisational values so that our work ethic is reflected internally, staff are well supported and we continue to support our grassroots partners in their fight for radical social change.

About the role:
The Homicide Service provide exceptional support to people affected by murder and manslaughter. We work closely with Major Crime Teams within police forces across England and Wales. The Homicide Service CYP team integrates fluidly with the Homicide Service Family and Peer Support teams to provide cohesive and effective advocacy and support service to eligible service users across England and Wales. We also support families of British Nationals murdered abroad and so work closely with the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office who refer into the Homicide Service.
You will lead a team of Team Leaders and CYP Caseworkers who deliver support in schools, community settings and homes. We offer a range of interventions to CYP including one to one support (digitally and in person); Peer Support and outreach within the community.
This role will develop the CYP service, constantly striving for the best outcomes for children and young people and so you will be driven to make a difference every day. You will demonstrate resilience and adaptability; understand the importance of professional boundaries; possess the excellent organisational skills required to manage a diverse workload with often competing priorities. An ability to work as part of a team, as well as managing your own diary/work priorities is a must.
As an Operations Manager you will need:

Lady Margaret Hall is seeking a Database Manager to manage the database and gift and data processing in our Development Team.
It is an exciting time to join the Development Team. In 2028/29, LMH will celebrate its 150th anniversary. A significant fundraising campaign will be launched in May 2025. The Database Manager will play a vital role by supporting the delivery of the campaign – primarily through gift processing and reporting on progress. The College will also, alongside the University, be gradually migrating databases from DARS (Raisers Edge product) to a custom-built Microsoft CRM. The Database Manager will lead on managing this migration of data with support from the University DARS team.
The Development Team are hybrid working with a minimum of three days per week based in the office. The position includes some out-of-hours work for event attendance, for which TOIL will be given.

Here at Rainbows Children’s Hospice, we provide specialist palliative care and end-of-life support to over 750 Babies, Children, and Young People living with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions, as well as approximately 3,000 people, including families, siblings, and carers, across the East Midlands. Simply put, we’re here to brighten short lives and support families, wherever they are.
Rainbows Hospice depends on the incredible generosity of our donors, supporters, and fundraisers to operate. Without their support, we would only be able to open for seven weeks a year. To strengthen and nurture these vital relationships, we are expanding our Supporter Experience team. This role is pivotal in enhancing and personalizing the supporter journey to ensure long-term engagement and inspiration.
As a Supporter Experience Officer, you will play a vital role in ensuring that supporters engaging with fundraising activities receive outstanding support and communication. You will also implement personalized supporter journeys designed to engage, inspire, and maximize income, enabling us to continue providing critical care and support.
Location: Onsite at Rainbows Hospice, Loughborough
Hours of Work: 37.5 Monday to Friday, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
About the role
Some of the key responsibilities include (but not limited to):
- Delivering exceptional supporter care, managing inbound enquiries, requests, and donations (via phone, email, online, or in person) promptly and efficiently, while signposting to colleagues when necessary.
- Acting as a primary point of contact for fundraising correspondence and enquiries, liaising directly with supporters and escalating as appropriate.
- Accurate and timely data entry of donations, supporter information, and thank-you letters.
- Implementing and supporting the development of tailored supporter journeys.
- Utilizing appropriate software to automate supporter engagement processes for public fundraising audiences.

Essential Requirements:
- Proven experience working with donors or customers.
- Experience handling confidential and sensitive information.
- Demonstrated ability to work with supporters, clients, or customers to encourage greater engagement, investment, or contributions.
- Strong skills in accurate data entry and reporting, in line with current Data Protection regulations.
- Ability to analyse data and create management reports to review income and identify trends.
Desirable Requirements:
- Experience designing and implementing supporter journeys using email software tools.
- A solid understanding of charity fundraising principles.

The Role:
The Sustainability manager will be responsible for leading on developing the Goals for Climate programme working with the IFA Foundation and Queens university to deliver on the Climate Action programme outcomes.
The role is varied and challenging, dealing with emerging climate change concepts, while coordinating delivery of a multi-layered work programme. It requires a driven, curious, and collaborative approach. In this role you will have the opportunity to develop skills in design and delivery of work programme actions, training and event organisation and gain valuable experience leading on climate action in Groundwork NI. You will represent Groundwork at external events and meetings, ensuring that you collaborate, share and learn from other leaders in climate action within the sector. You will be able to communicate clearly and work effectively with a range of key partners and stakeholders, working with colleagues across the Trust and the Groundwork Federation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and implement tailored training programs to equip a network of Green volunteers with the skills to understand their carbon footprint, design and implement climate action plans, and adopt sustainable practices.
- Inspire and mobilise local football clubs and communities to take part in climate action.
- Lead a small team, leveraging your understanding of climate change and community engagement.
- Oversee the development and delivery of the Goals for Climate programme, ensuring alignment with the Climate Action programme outcomes.
