The Associate Director for Safeguarding is an integral role in which you will work collaboratively with the Executive Director for People and Culture and other colleagues across the College to develop our organisational safeguarding strategy and action plan, to promote a culture in which the safeguarding of children, young people and adults at risk is at the core of our delivery of services in both our domestic and global programmes.
As Associate Director for Safeguarding, you will play an active role to ensure that our safeguarding processes, reporting mechanisms, points of escalation and learning programme for College staff are of the highest quality.
Reporting to the Executive Director for People and Culture, you will work key individuals to design and deliver a programme of continuing professional development around safeguarding processes and delivery. You will provide support and appropriate challenge where required at all levels of the College, ensuring robust reporting procedures are in place for managing safeguarding concerns for both direct and indirect delivered activities.
You will also work with external agencies, support organisations and referral pathways to establish effective working relationships, ensuring external knowledge provides continual challenge to the internal delivery of safeguarding and takes into account wider best practice.
With a good standard of education, perhaps with a social work or related qualification, you should have significant current experience of delivering safeguarding services in a range of settings and across diverse communities. You should also have experience of implementing change within safeguarding settings. You will be values driven, a good team player, with effective influencing and persuading skills, demonstrating an empathic approach regarding the work and workload of others and have the ability to empower colleagues to be effective within all aspects of safeguarding practice.
You should also have an understanding of safeguarding in an in-person, digital and or online delivery environment and be flexible and open to alternative approaches to problem solving, providing suggestions and ideas for change and improvement.
Proven experience of researching and producing high quality written reports, briefings, presentations and information along with the ability to set out and discuss complex issues clearly for a range of audiences, is essential.
This role will require a DBS check and is not exempt under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.

Crisis is the national charity for people experiencing homelessness. In 2024 we embarked on our new 10-year strategy for ending homelessness. We know it is not inevitable. We know together we can end it.

About the role
The Housing Supply Implementation and Partnerships Manager is an exciting new role which will be pivotal in supporting Crisis to deliver on our bold new vision to provide safe, settled, affordable housing to end people’s homelessness directly with homes for the first time in our history. This role will work closely with the Head of Housing supply on the implementation of a plan to deliver 100 homes for Crisis members over next 3 years and development of longer-term planning for delivery of 1000+ homes by 2035.
You will be working to implement this exciting new approach by developing collaborative partnerships with the right organisations to help us to succeed as well as overseeing high quality delivery in all areas of our housing supply work. This is a new challenge for us as an organisation and we are keen to get it right, trialling new approaches and taking measured risks to learn and improve along the way. We can’t end homelessness without homes.

About the Role

The fundraising manager role sits in the fundraising team within the external relations division. The fundraising team is responsible for raising between £1m and £1.5m in fundraised income annually. Frontline’s philanthropic income complements the significant contract income the charity receives from central and local government and enables the charity to carry out its broader mission to create social change for hundreds of thousands of disadvantaged children.
Since we were founded in 2013, Frontline has leveraged its success to build committed, high impact partnerships with a number of prestigious supporters including trusts and foundations, corporates and high net worth individuals. Our new fundraising strategy focuses on continuing to grow our network of supporters by maintaining excellent relationships with our current funders while identifying new potential donors, and at the same time testing and developing fundraising through community and events and individual giving.
The successful candidate will work closely with the head of fundraising and the fundraising officer to implement Frontline’s annual fundraising plan, taking specific responsibility for growing our public fundraising income through community and events fundraising, individual giving and digital fundraising while also supporting building and developing partnerships with corporates. They will work closely with other teams to increase engagement with our fundraising activities from across the organisation, including staff, fellows (alumni of our programmes) and programme participants. The fundraising team is supported by the marketing, events and communications staff of the external relations division.

A little bit about you
We will be looking for applicants who have experience across a range of fundraising areas (in particular, community and events fundraising, individual giving, digital fundraising as well as corporate or major donors) to add strength to the team and allow us to pilot new fundraising initiatives. Frontline is at a turning point of a new fundraising strategy, and we need someone to help drive this forward, finding new opportunities to raise money and support for Frontline.

About This Role
Over the last seven years we have grown into a recognised leader in the fight for menstrual equity. We are now recruiting a Fundraising Manager to cover parental leave for nine months. It’s an exciting time to join our team, as we build on strong foundations and develop our work in High Value fundraising in particular. This xed term contract will focus on delivering a new strategy for corporate and Major Donor fundraising, as well as line managing a new Fundraising Ocer to deliver our day-to-day fundraising portfolio.

The legacy programme will deliver highly personalised engagement for legacy prospects and pledgers via events, a legacy society and other initiatives.
About the Candidate
We are seeking a strategic thinker and natural relationship builder. You will have the skills and experience to develop strategic projects that create partnerships between alumni and the College, for the benefit of Goldsmiths and our students. You will have an entrepreneurial approach to identifying new opportunities and developing ideas. You will be experienced in the development and delivery of mid-value and/or legacy programmes, including events, and building personal relationships with alumni and alumni donors, or equivalent. You will be skilled in writing engaging fundraising copy for communications and reports. We welcome applicants with a background in the Higher Education or Not for Profit sector.

We use the knowledge and insight gained from our support services and partnerships to highlight the issues experienced by older people in poverty and campaign for change.

Responsibilities and Person Specification:
With a passion for tackling poverty in later life, the Policy Manager will use the evidence and insight gained through our research, services, grants and campaign network to identify the problems that older people in poverty face and come up with innovate policy solutions to improve their lives.
They will then work with colleagues across the organisation, particularly Public Affairs, Campaigns and Media, to influence policymakers and make these policy calls a reality.

This is a full-time role, 35 hours per week, which you can choose to work over five days or a 9-day fortnight.

The Role:
The Bromley by Bow Centre is funded by the Council to deliver the Home Energy Advice Programme (HEAP) to support households at risk of fuel poverty within Tower Hamlets. This includes delivering a programme to vulnerable residents in the community, with the aim of reducing resident energy usage, CO2 emissions, and financial expenditure on fuel bills.
The programme will encompass a dedicated home visits service providing health, wellbeing and energy efficiency advice. It will also include interventions and delivery of energy advice in the borough through a wide range of mediums, including events, a network of Energy Champions, frontline workers, a targeted communications campaign and an energy advice phone service.
As Contract Compliance Manager you will lead on the continued compliance, monitoring and financial management of the HEAP contract. You will maintain and manage relationship with the council and subcontractor SHINE. This will include regularly monitoring contract performance against key performance indicators (KPIs) and deliverables for both BbBC and SHINE to identify deviations from compliance standards. You will ensure that SHINE are delivering high quality, effective services in their core area.
As Contract Compliance Manager, you will have financial and project management responsibility for the operational delivery and ongoing development of the project managing and monitoring payment by result by establishing a robust monitoring and verification systems.
Home Energy Advice Programme (HEAP):
Tower Hamlets has one of the highest overall poverty rates in London and as per the 2021 Census had 11.2% of residents living in fuel poverty. Given the current Cost-of-Living crisis, this figure has likely increased. This is a key area of concern for residents, as in the Tower Hamlets Residents' Survey 2023, 50% of respondents indicated that they were concerned about paying fuel bills and 40% of respondents identified rising costs/interest rates as their most important concern.
The Home Energy Advice Programme will support households at risk of fuel poverty within Tower Hamlets with the aim to reduce resident energy usage, CO2 emissions, and financial expenditure on fuel bills.
The Programme consists of delivering:
• Front-end telephone service – triage callers, providing energy advice and referrals to home visits or for intervention measures.
• Deliver an affordable warmth home visiting service – dedicated home visits to some of the Borough’s most vulnerable households providing health, wellbeing and energy efficiency advice.
• Deliver energy efficiency interventions and behaviour change advice – install small interventions such as draught proofing, radiator reflector panels and energy monitors and advice residents on behaviour changes they can make to reduce their energy use.
• Deliver energy advice through a range of events at locations across the borough – have a presence at public spaces across the borough such as idea stores and food banks to offer energy savings tips and debt advice.
• Deliver training to volunteer Energy Champions - enable residents to deliver energy advice and build the capabilities of the community.
• Deliver workshops to frontline workers - upskill those in key services in identifying residents in need or at risk of experiencing fuel poverty and how to refer into the Service.

About the Role

Working under the guidance of the Peer Programme Manager the post holder will ensure that Eastern European people with an identified diagnosis of hepatitis C & liver cirrhosis are offered a referral to specialist hepatitis treatment & liver surveillance services in West London area.

The purpose of this role is to raise LMK’s profile and to engage LMK’s stakeholders in our services, campaigns and fundraising efforts by delivering impactful content across all of our online and offline communication channels in alignment with our vision, mission and strategic objectives. Reporting to our CEO, the successful candidate will job-share with our established 2 day-per week Marketing & Communications Manager. As a member of LMK’s core staff team, you will work with LMK staff, LMK Leaders (youth workers who deliver our workshops to young people), members of our Youth Advisory Board, trustees and key stakeholders to develop and implement our brand, marketing and social media strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing & Brand
- Co-develop LMK’s marketing strategy, leveraging key stakeholder input and action plans to support it
- Co-ownership of the execution of all marketing activities and materials, ensuring they reflect the brand and the values of the charity
- Lead the planning and execution of PR and media campaigns, leveraging media contacts, ensuring LMK has engaging media materials and our spokespeople are fully prepared to maximise media opportunities
