The Associate Director for Safeguarding is an integral role in which you will work collaboratively with the Executive Director for People and Culture and other colleagues across the College to develop our organisational safeguarding strategy and action plan, to promote a culture in which the safeguarding of children, young people and adults at risk is at the core of our delivery of services in both our domestic and global programmes.
As Associate Director for Safeguarding, you will play an active role to ensure that our safeguarding processes, reporting mechanisms, points of escalation and learning programme for College staff are of the highest quality.
Reporting to the Executive Director for People and Culture, you will work key individuals to design and deliver a programme of continuing professional development around safeguarding processes and delivery. You will provide support and appropriate challenge where required at all levels of the College, ensuring robust reporting procedures are in place for managing safeguarding concerns for both direct and indirect delivered activities.
You will also work with external agencies, support organisations and referral pathways to establish effective working relationships, ensuring external knowledge provides continual challenge to the internal delivery of safeguarding and takes into account wider best practice.
With a good standard of education, perhaps with a social work or related qualification, you should have significant current experience of delivering safeguarding services in a range of settings and across diverse communities. You should also have experience of implementing change within safeguarding settings. You will be values driven, a good team player, with effective influencing and persuading skills, demonstrating an empathic approach regarding the work and workload of others and have the ability to empower colleagues to be effective within all aspects of safeguarding practice.
You should also have an understanding of safeguarding in an in-person, digital and or online delivery environment and be flexible and open to alternative approaches to problem solving, providing suggestions and ideas for change and improvement.
Proven experience of researching and producing high quality written reports, briefings, presentations and information along with the ability to set out and discuss complex issues clearly for a range of audiences, is essential.
This role will require a DBS check and is not exempt under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.
The Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health sets and maintains standards for the education and training of all doctors working in paediatrics and child health in the UK. We advocate on child health issues at home and internationally. Unifrog provides employers with a comprehensive talent attraction and development offering, with a holistic approach to our partnerships. The Employer Partnerships team brings local and international employers closer to our Unifrog schools, students and teachers. We focus on three key areas:

The role and your key responsibilities
As Employer Partnerships Manager, your role is to grow our employer partner numbers and support our existing employer partners to get the most out of their partnership with us. A fundamental element of our work with employers is to make sure they’re adding genuine value to our student, teacher and parent community.

About the role
This vacancy is for a University Access Officer to work in Chelsea Academy. Our schools are shown on a map on our website.
The University Access Officer works with school staff at all levels, volunteer tutors, and with the rest of The Access Project’s team to ensure that the delivery of the programme is optimised.
Role responsibilities
· Work directly with students in a professional and safe manner
· Engage with students in school and enrol them onto the programme
· Assess student progress towards being able to make successful university applications
· Upload information onto the Salesforce database (training is provided)
· Work with school staff to ensure their cooperation and timely completion of activities contributing to the smooth running of the programme
· Chair and present at termly school meetings with Senior Management to report on programme progress.
· University Access Officers support the volunteering team by helping to deliver tutor training sessions, and attending university site visits, which take place on occasional Saturdays and weekday evenings (paid time off is provided).

Shannon Trust are delighted to be working with His Majesty’s Prison & Probation Service (HMPPS) to provide peer-led learning programmes at HMP Wormwood Scrubs. Working closely with the prison and their staff, people in prison, Shannon Trust volunteers and mentors, this post will lead the delivery and development of our prison-based reading and numeracy programme, maximising opportunities for people in prison to learn to read.
Ideally you will have some experience of prison settings underpinned by the ability to build relationships and personal qualities that include resilience, determination and a problem-solving approach.
The role will be prison-based. Are you passionate about capturing and sharing learning from projects and programmes and able to analyse and summarise key points from a wealth of information? ISEAL´s Innovations Fund is a central component of our work to catalyse innovations that improve the effectiveness and deepen the impacts of market-based approaches to sustainability. This is an exciting role to work on the development of a learning agenda and value proposition for the Fund, as well as producing relevant communications and learning reports.
First launched in 2016, the Fund supports innovative projects by ISEAL Community Members to help sustainability systems deliver more value to their stakeholders and effectively drive sustainability improvement on the ground, over time, and at scale. The Fund provides grants that enable recipients to develop and test new technologies and approaches, while drawing out cross-project learning to share with the wider sustainability community.
The Associate Manager will work closely with ISEAL colleagues and grantees to improve the ways learning is extracted from the projects, and to produce high-quality learning products. The person in this role will take ownership of the engagement processes necessary to collate and share lessons learnt in a strongly collaborative setting with ISEAL Community Member organisations or other stakeholders. Previous experience with MEL activities, and specifically on project and programme learning is required to be successful in this role.

Implementation of Innovations Fund learning agenda
- Develop and maintain an overall learning agenda for the Fund, and lead Fund and programme team on all aspects of its delivery
- Propose and implement methodologies for capturing learning from grants and for evaluating the effectiveness and impact of the Fund during and after project implementation
- Working with thematic leads, extract and synthesize key lessons and trends across multiple grants and produce reports and other learning outputs to share practical lessons and insights
- Lead the design and delivery of knowledge sharing and learning workshops, facilitating peer to peer interactions between organisations participating in grant-funded projects
- Act as programme officer for Innovations Fund projects aligned with job holder expertise, to provide support and technical insight to grantees and gain insights into project learning
- Conduct stakeholder interviews and other forms of research to support implementation of the learning agenda and to inform the focus of the Fund’s upcoming thematic funding rounds
- Review and provide input on call announcements and on Fund application, proposal, and reporting templates to ensure that these support the Funds learning agenda and approach
Communications
- Working with the rest of the Innovations Fund team, identify opportunities for increasing the Fund’s visibility and map internal and external stakeholders who can support widening the Fund´s impact
- Support implementation of the Fund’s communications strategy, identifying target audiences for Fund and producing and adapting learning products for each
- Produce reports, briefing papers, blogs, case studies, and slide decks, and manage content on ISEAL’s online platforms, to communicate Fund learnings and project findings, outcomes, and achievements

About the Role:
The Water Security Lead is responsible for delivering WaterAid’s water security programming by providing strategic leadership, technical expertise, and innovative solutions. The role supports programme design, implementation, evaluation, and the development of standards and guidance, working with global teams to enhance knowledge sharing, technical delivery, and external engagement.
- The Water Security Lead is based in the WASH Technical Effectiveness team, reporting to the head of the team. The Water Security Lead is accountable for the strategic development and effective delivery of the core team responsibilities on water security programming in both urban and rural, low-income settings, incorporating WaterAid’s and the sector’s leading practices, innovations and methods.
- Applying a people-centred, systems strengthening approach to WASH, she/he leads the provision of high quality specialist technical analysis, advisory, and support services to the design, inception, implementation, troubleshooting, monitoring, and/or assessments of WaterAid’s water programming worldwide, at both strategic and operational levels.
- In collaboration with country, regional and global colleagues, she/he leads the facilitation of effective learning and management of technical and programme knowledge across the organisation, and leads the development of relevant standards and guidance. She/he also provides high quality strategic and technical input to fundraising, communications, and external engagements.
- The Water Security Lead has substantial autonomy in determining what the technical objectives are and how they are delivered and achieved. She/he is held account for the integrity and effective delivery of the technical advice and services. She/he is seen as a thematic authority and is expected to effectively handle the most challenging technical assignments. With a strong understanding of organisational dynamics and ways of working, the Lead advisor is expected to bridge gaps and siloes, proactively establishing and maintaining relationships with colleagues across WaterAid and beyond, and facilitating joined-up and comprehensive efforts to advance WaterAid’s programming globally.
To be successful, you’ll need:
- Extensive technical experience in water security, water resources, catchment protection, hydrogeology, water supply, water quality, services delivery, resilience, sustainability, and related areas.
- Strong background in systems strengthening, sustainable development, sanitation, hygiene, behaviour change, and WASH-related topics.
- A relevant postgraduate degree or equivalent professional experience.

Having navigated the challenges of the pandemic, the organisation has naturally placed an emphasis in recent years on retaining and sustaining the existing relationships we have with the 2,500 organisations (centres) that deliver our programmes.
Looking ahead, with new programmes and partnerships emerging, this role will now play a significant part in helping us understand the needs of young people, allow more centres to be able to deliver Leadership Skills Foundation programmes, and broaden the audiences we reach. Over the next few years, we aim to create an adaptable leadership skill offer that will increase our reach to more young people, fully establishing the Leadership Skills Foundation as the trusted voice for essential leadership skills development.
Having recently secured a strategic partnership with Sport England, this role will play a key part in conducting the research activities that are required to inform the Leadership Skills Foundation, and the wider sector, to empower a more diverse range of young people with opportunities to develop essential leadership and life skills, regardless of their background.
You will be a valued Research Executive within the ‘Programme Delivery’ team and support the Research Manager to develop future accessible and inclusive essential leadership programmes. A key focus for the research will be to understand the needs, barriers, and opportunities to support underserved and/or under-represented communities and individuals into sport leadership opportunities and into the workforce.

About the role:
The Homicide Service provide exceptional support to people affected by murder and manslaughter. We work closely with Major Crime Teams within police forces across England and Wales. The Homicide Service CYP team integrates fluidly with the Homicide Service Family and Peer Support teams to provide cohesive and effective advocacy and support service to eligible service users across England and Wales. We also support families of British Nationals murdered abroad and so work closely with the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office who refer into the Homicide Service.
You will lead a team of Team Leaders and CYP Caseworkers who deliver support in schools, community settings and homes. We offer a range of interventions to CYP including one to one support (digitally and in person); Peer Support and outreach within the community.
This role will develop the CYP service, constantly striving for the best outcomes for children and young people and so you will be driven to make a difference every day. You will demonstrate resilience and adaptability; understand the importance of professional boundaries; possess the excellent organisational skills required to manage a diverse workload with often competing priorities. An ability to work as part of a team, as well as managing your own diary/work priorities is a must.
As an Operations Manager you will need:
- Knowledge and understanding of safeguarding practice and legislation relating to equal opportunities and diversity, inclusivity, safeguarding and risk assessments
- Experience of leadership and management and implementation of change management processes.
- Ability to effectively manage demanding and competing work priorities, achieving successful results across team and service
- Extensive working experience of the impact of trauma and bereavement and the importance of trauma informed practice, especially when supporting children and young people
- Experience and knowledge of voluntary and statutory agencies, particularly in the criminal justice, health and social care sector
- Undergraduate degree or relevant professional qualification such as ILM level 5 or above or extensive experience in a supervisory role with budget management and target driven

Job Purpose
As the Growth & Connection Coordinator you will lead the coordination of our flagship weekend event, a contemporary Rites of Passage Adventure (ROPA) for teenage boys. You will also support our local groups in delivering mentoring circles, day intensives and activity sessions. This role includes administrative, communication, and outreach responsibilities to ensure the smooth running of our programmes and effective engagement with young people, parents and carers, mentors, youth services, and other stakeholders.
One of our biggest challenges is recruiting teenage boys to our programmes. While we don’t expect all candidates to have experience in recruiting young people to youth programmes, we do expect you to feel confident and proactive about tackling this challenge.
Key Responsibilities
Working closely and with and reporting directly to our CEO, your responsibilities will be to:

Lead the coordination of ROPA and support local groups, ensuring logistics and planning are effectively managed while maintaining accurate records and administrative documentation.

Develop proactive strategies for the recruitment of teenage boys, building on what we’ve learnt, and delivering on those strategies.

Person Specification

They are seeking an organised, diligent accounting professional to work with the Finance Director to support the finance team in its delivery of high-quality, timely, and insightful financial information. You will work closely with budget holders, enabling data-led decision-making and supporting donor and committee reporting. As a key member of a small, collaborative team, you will be hands-on managing day-to-day operations, proactive in ensuring a strong internal control environment and keen to drive operational and cost efficiencies.

The key duties of the Finance Manager are as follows:
- Support in the creation of department budgets.

- Flexible working – staff have the flexibility to work their contracted hours around the core hours of 10am – 4pm and can make flexible working requests that will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
- Annual leave - 22 days annual leave each year plus bank holidays. This increases by one day after 2 years continuous service and is capped at 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays. This doesn’t include a maximum of 8 closure days per year.
