The Digital Data Manager reports directly into the Head of Fundraising and plays a lead role in driving income generation through strategic management of data. You will also be developing team skill and expertise to ensure a joined-up approach to data.
You'll be responsible for overseeing all data operations, ensuring smooth data collection, integration, and analysis. This includes managing a team of one, ensuring efficient processes for data selection, import and general CRM support. Your exceptional project management skills will be crucial, as you'll lead data-driven initiatives and implement agile methodologies for continuous improvement which will be pivotal in transforming data into actionable insights that contribute to the charity's success and service delivery.
You’ll be creative and commercial in your approach, leveraging digital tools to maximise efficiency and return on investment. Leading on the review, recommendation and rollout of a new CRM into the future will play a large part of your role with automation and streamlining of enhanced processes and procedures in order to increase income generation impact, being the desired output.
Key responsibilities include leading on the management of a large CRM used for both fundraising and lottery donors/supporters whilst ensuring we continue to meet all regulatory compliances, legislation and policy. Acorns Children’s Hospice provides specialist care and support for babies, children and young people who are life limited or life threatened. When time is short, every moment is precious. Acorns helps children and families fill the time they have together with love, fun and laughter to create lasting memories.
Palliative care for children aged 0-18 is delivered at Acorns’ hospices in Birmingham, Worcester, and Walsall, as well as in family homes or elsewhere in the community. Their holistic, tailored approach meets each child’s clinical, emotional, cultural, religious, and spiritual needs. Supporting over 750 children and nearly 1,000 families annually, Acorns is a vital lifeline for families across the West Midlands and Gloucestershire during unimaginably difficult times.
Over the past 18 months, Acorns’ leadership team has enhanced collaboration and innovation across the charity and focused on embedding an organisation-wide fundraising culture, deepening internal relationships, and harnessing data analysis to drive performance. With this strong foundation in place, they are seeking a Director of Income Generation to play a key role in shaping the organisation’s strategic direction while leading and integrating fundraising and retail operations.
About the role
As a key member of Acorns’ Executive Directorate, you will play a central role in shaping the organisation’s leadership and strategy. You’ll develop and implement innovative strategies to maximise fundraising income across individual giving, corporate partnerships, community fundraising, trusts, and legacies. In addition, you will oversee the performance and continued success of Acorns’ retail operation, strategically supporting the Retail Director in driving growth across a portfolio of c.50 shops.

As Director of Income Generation, you will:

- Develop and implement a comprehensive and innovative income generation strategy to meet ambitious financial targets
- Work closely with the Director of Retail to lead the strategy and operational management of 43 high street shops and 4 superstores, driving sales growth and profitability

- Explore new opportunities, including prize-led giving and digital fundraising, to keep Acorns at the forefront of fundraising innovation

About you
Ideal skills and experience:
- Extensive experience in fundraising leadership across multiple income streams
- A track record of creating and implementing innovative fundraising strategies
- A skilled leader with experience managing high-performing teams, providing guidance and support to maximise the strengths of staff
- Proven ability to think creatively, offering fresh approaches to fundraising that are both innovative and practical
- Ability to use data insights to drive strategy and decision-making, including tapping into demographic insights and donor behaviour to inform innovative fundraising strategies

You will be working in one of three London properties alongside a large multi-agency staff team made up of experts by experience/profession in psychology and therapy; youth work; offending; education, training, and employment (ETE) and housing. The service will work creatively and holistically to enable young people to exit environments involving youth violence, identify and reach their goals and aspirations, move on successfully to appropriate independent living, and importantly to sustain this life. Wherever possible staff and young people will co-produce what this service looks like and what activities the young people engage in. This is a great opportunity if you are interested in therapeutic practice, and developing or using your therapeutic skills alongside the area of social action.

WCRF Intl is a not-for-profit organisation that leads and unifies a network of cancer prevention charities. These charities are based in Europe, the Americas and Asia, giving us a global voice to inform people about cancer prevention. The finance function, International Financial Services (IFS), is a central service, split across the London and Arlington, VA office and is the hub for supporting the charities in all areas of financial processing and management.
The Finance Director will be responsible for the oversight of all financial aspects of the network charities, including strategic financial planning, managing financial risks, financial reporting, and ensuring sustainable economic health.

WCRF is a UK cancer prevention charity. We look at how diet, weight and physical activity affect the risk of developing and surviving cancer.
The Diocese is seeking a Church Building Support Officer to join our team on a fixed-term contract, to work closely with parishes to help secure sustainable futures for some of our most historic and cherished church buildings. You'll help PCCs to identify and explore complimentary non-worship uses for their buildings, helping them to become vibrant and viable centres of mission and community life. You’ll support them in ensuring the church buildings are fit for the future, fostering greater community engagement, and developing long-term sustainability strategies.
This role offers the opportunity to be part of a developing church buildings strategy, shaping the future approach to church building support within the Diocese. You will work closely with a range of stakeholders to bring these strategies to life, ensuring that churches remain places of worship, community activity, and cultural significance.
This is a new fixed-term post funded by the Church Commissioners of the Church of England through their Buildings for Mission funding. The funding is for an initial period of twenty months, ending in September 2026, unless the funding is extended.
The main responsibilities of the Church Building Support Officer are:

Work with Parochial Church Councils (PCCs) to develop community action plans that align with local needs.

Support PCCs in identifying mixed-use opportunities for the church building

Facilitate the building of strong relationships with local groups, charities, and other partners to promote the wider use of church buildings.
