This role sits within the Education team who are responsible for delivering BSR’s educational activity. Working alongside the Head of Education, the Events and Education Manager and the Digital Events Manager, you will assist in the planning and delivery of a range of education courses, webinars, bursary schemes and eLearning activities. You will work with the team to support the work of our Education Committee, Trainee Committee and Digital Learning Board.
This is an exciting role for someone looking to get more hands-on experience in planning and executing a variety of educational events and activities and liaising with multiple stakeholders. It is a unique opportunity to be part of the team at the forefront of rheumatology education, making a tangible impact on the professional development of members and the broader rheumatology community.
Main responsibilities
- Manage course and webinar registration processes, including delegate bookings, communications, data management and reporting, and producing delegate materials.
- Manage course logistics including venue sourcing and management, accommodation and travel, catering and AV.
- Manage the rheumatology training webinar series, including topic development, speaker management and live delivery.
- Manage the creation of monthly eLearning packages including webinars, podcasts and eLearning cases.
- Manage the education bursary programme, including promotion, application management and financial reconciliation.
- Manage CPD accreditation of educational activities.
- Manage events inbox and education team enquiries.
- Input into our education budgets by monitoring progress against income and expenditure for projects owned.
- Produce content for webpages and social media platforms to drive interest and engagement and keep delegates informed.
- Attend committee meetings, provide updates if needed and assist with the minute-taking, agenda preparation and follow-up on actions as necessary.

Please note: Occasional travel is expected including attendance and overnight stays at BSR conferences, courses and events.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Wellbeing Advisor Assistant with experience of working within a children and young people, to work within a multi-disciplinary wellbeing advice services team to increase and improve emotional and mental health provision within local communities for 11–24-year-olds in the West London CCG area.
The Senior Wellbeing Adviser will be a part of our Youth Services team and will work to deliver mental health services for young people and the adults who support them. The Senior Wellbeing Adviser will co-ordinate and deliver a diverse portfolio of wellbeing services including the provision of 1:1 practical wellbeing advice and support to young people (mainly aged 16-25), facilitation of peer support groups, delivery of workshops and trainings and co-ordinate awareness-raising campaigns on occasion.
This post will enable the post-holder to develop a wide range of project coordination and evaluation skills. The position will suit an individual who is self-motivated, an excellent communicator and data competent, with an interest in quality improvement, line management, an understanding of child development and mental health, as well as a passion to support services for children, young people and their families.
The post holder will also work alongside colleagues and partners in the Local Authority, CAMHS, educational settings where interventions are being delivered and other relevant mental health providers.
Key Responsibilities
- To provide practical mental health focused short term casework to young people through 1:1 face to face appointments
- To develop, co-ordinate and deliver workshops and training to groups of children and young people
- To raise and escalate safeguarding concerns effectively with partners to ensure children and young people are effectively safeguarded
- Signpost referrals for children and young people with more complex needs to the relevant service.
- Coordinate referrals and booking in sessions
- Conduct regular line management with one Wellbeing Advisor working closely with them as a team.

- Engage in robust managerial and clinical supervision, identifying the scope of practice of the individual post-holder within the role, and working safely within that scope.
- Attend multi-disciplinary and multi-agency meetings relating to referrals or children and young people in treatment, where appropriate, both for personal educational benefit in discussion with supervisors, and to provide direct assistance.

About this role
Working in ODI’s Public Affairs and Communications (PAC) department, the Digital Communications Intern will support the digital team with producing and marketing content for ODI’s core digital channels – spanning the website, social media and newsletters.
The internship presents a fantastic opportunity to get experience of working on different aspects of digital communications, with a particular focus on writing and dissemination.
Tasks will include drafting social media posts, helping to produce digital assets, compiling newsletter content, proofreading, and identifying opportunities for content development and promotion. ROLE RESPONSIBLITIES

Commercial Director
To take our business to the next level we need a dedicated Commercial Director to help accelerate our growth.
There are four key strands to the role:
Strategy and New Business
· Work alongside the CEO to develop the growth strategy for Energise Africa
· Managing existing and develop new origination partnerships to bring new issuers to the platform
· Lead the EA origination efforts and structure proposed transactions

· Manage workout situations and restructuring of clients in arrears with support from the legal team and origination partners.
Leadership
· As a key member of the Energise Africa Senior Management Team, help to build the investment strategy for Energise Africa and to deliver against agreed objectives.
Product Development
· Cooperate in product development which may involve different currency solutions, guarantees and de-risking projects as well as looking at innovative financing structures.
· Support the development of new tools and technology to make the investment process more efficient.

Key skills and experience:
· A passion for sustainable development/impact investing or similar.
· 5 years of experience in impact investing (debt or equity) or corporate lending in emerging markets and/or in renewable energy or climate finance sectors.
· Experience of helping to scale a start-up and/or entrepreneurship within a company.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Great negotiation skills - cooperative, empathetic and get the deals closed.
· Excellent communication skills and the ability to represent EA at the highest levels.
· Fluent in English and ideally French or Spanish, both written and spoken.
