About the Role

Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP) works for the health and dignity of Palestinians living under occupation and as refugees. MAP is the leading UK charity delivering health and medical care to those worst affected by conflict, occupation and displacement, in the occupied Palestinian territory and Palestinian refugee camps of Lebanon. 

We are seeking an experienced legacy professional to lead and grow MAP’s legacy giving programme. This role is instrumental in generating circa £1m annually, directly contributing to MAP’s vital work. You’ll take the lead in building MAP’s legacy programme – from marketing legacies to stewarding prospects, enquirers and pledgers. Working collaboratively across teams, you’ll design engaging supporter journeys that ensure an exceptional experience, strengthening MAP’s legacy pipeline. You’ll also play a pivotal role in strengthening the profile of legacy giving at MAP, building strong connections internally and externally. This role offers an exciting opportunity to build a legacy programme and join a passionate, collaborative and growing team committed to innovation and excellence in fundraising. About You

We’re looking for a pro-active individual with a proven track record in building legacy fundraising strategies and delivering multi-channel campaigns. You’ll be skilled in both digital and offline fundraising, with a supporter-centric approach.  Duties and key responsibilities

Leadership and Strategy 

• Lead the development of the legacy programme, creating a strategic plan that considers audiences, products and channels and which is aligned to MAP’s fundraising strategy. 

• Monitor and analyse trends within legacy giving, both internally and externally, using these findings to influence the direction of the programme. 

• Manage and support the Legacy Marketing Officer (fixed term) and liaise with MAP’s legacy administration consultant to ensure excellence in both legacy marketing and administration. Assess resources and develop business plans to support team changes as and when relevant. 

• Champion legacy giving throughout MAP, influencing and engaging colleagues across the organisation and raising the profile of this income stream. 

• Build and manage relationships with external partners including agencies and suppliers including creative, print/fulfilment and free will providers.   

Campaign Planning and Management 

• Plan, implement and optimise legacy marketing campaigns across various channels, ensuring alignment with MAP’s broader fundraising goals. 

• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to develop audience-led content and materials that drive engagement with legacy giving. 

• Monitor, analyse and report on campaign performance, adjusting plans and activity based on insights and trends with a view to maximise ROI. 

• Develop and maintain effective supporter journeys tailored to legacy prospects and legacy intenders/pledgers, ensuring a consistent, engaging and inspiring experience.

Innovation 

• Lead legacy marketing innovation by identifying and testing new channels, tools and approaches to enhance MAP’s legacy offering. 

• Stay updated on trends and legacy marketing best practice, with the goal of developing MAP into a leader in legacy fundraising. 

Budget Management 

• Create and oversee the legacy budget, setting income and expenditure targets in collaboration with the Head of Individual Giving.

• Manage financial planning, reporting, and risk assessment for the legacy budget.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Experience

• Proven track record in legacy programme management across various channels, with evidence of successful development of legacy fundraising strategies. 

• Skilled in performance reporting, data analysis and using insights to shape a legacy programme. 

• Experience creating acquisition fundraising plans across channels (online and offline) and delivering supporter journeys across a range of audiences. 

• Excellent project management skills, including managing multiple projects and priorities at once. 

• Experience of day-to-day management of external stakeholders and agencies.

• Experience in planning and budgeting – with proficiency in legacy forecasting.

Knowledge, skills and abilities

• Able to confidently analyse results and extract insights to inform campaigns.  

• Excellent digital, written and verbal communication skills, with a supporter-centric approach.

About the role

The role of the Project Officer - International Development (POID) is to support the PBLS team’s mission to advance the UN SDGs by brokering pro bono legal assistance from legal experts in support of international NGOs. The POID will do this by engaging PBLS’s existing network of international NGOs, expanding this network by connecting with new international NGOs, and providing international development expertise to support and enhance the services and products within PBLS.

The POID will engage CSOs/NGOs globally to build partnerships and identify needs for pro bono legal assistance. This role will also support PBLS objective in brokering international pro bono legal opportunities to fulfil these needs, by connecting legal experts/expertise with CSOs/NGOs, including the weekly circulation of pro bono projects to legal partners or long-term and more complex strategic projects. The POID will conduct due diligence, allocate projects to appropriate legal partners, maintain related records and gather relevant feedback on a periodic basis. The POID will provide support on internal reporting, and will also draft external communications. The POID will also be responsible for other internal administrative tasks as necessary (e.g. updating software and implementing process changes). Other key responsibilities will include: supporting the PBLM with any bespoke projects; assisting with training events for Development or Legal Partners on relevant International Development topics, and engaging with key Legal or Development Partners any on specific areas of legal interest or need. This role will work with other teams as and when needed.

Development and Renumeration

The Role

Worth currently £2m annually we are looking to rapidly grow our income from third party and owned products and events. About the Role

The Corporate Fundraiser will work closely with the Corporate and Community Fundraising Manager to secure new relationships across the Fylde Coat, developing a pipeline of sustainable income. You will identify and secure new opportunities, including corporate partnerships, sponsorships, CRM initiatives, Charity of the Year programs, and gift in-kind donations. Corporate is a very well-established income stream within the fundraising team, but there is still lots of opportunity to grow by building on the brilliant 40 year reputation of donor care and fundraising products.

Working collaboratively with the fundraising team, you will help prepare and deliver corporate sponsorship proposals for all Trinity Hospice events, products and campaigns. You will also plan and facilitate corporate engagement events with the aim of increasing brand awareness amongst local businesses and convert corporate supporters. You'll maintain a donor-centric approach to fundraising, ensuring that current supporters feel appreciated and building long-term holistic relationships.

About You

This role would suit someone who is a natural relationship builder with a talent for finding creative ways to connect with corporate supporters while attracting new businesses opportunities. You'll have worked in a fundraising or business development environment before and will have a track record of meeting financial targets and balancing a demanding workload with competing deadlines.

Job Purpose

This position will lead the established department/s in order to deliver on key priority areas of the Strategic Plan in the areas of: breeding for unfavorable environments, breeding for favorable environments, quantitative genetics and biometrics (related to plant breeding), seed and delivery systems, and germplasm evaluation, host plant resistance, and including market access and nutrition traits and abiotic stress tolerance. New breeding systems and tools have been put in place in the Rice Breeding Innovation department, however further innovative and cost-effective tools and breeding systems will need to be identified, developed and implemented to achieve the goals of making the IRRI breeding program the pre-eminent public sector cereal breeding program globally.

The Rice Breeding Innovations Research Director is responsible for assuring success in a global context, while focusing on South Asia, Southeast Asia and Eastern and Southern Africa. The position also requires an understanding of breeding information management systems, intellectual property, and an ability to work with the private sector with the assistance of business development specialists. In addition to being a recognized international expert in the field, the successful applicant will have the leadership and change management experience, standing and personal qualities required to provide inspirational leadership to a group of Research Unit Leaders, and provide strategic guidance in research innovations, partnerships and delivery of programs and projects. The Fundraising Officer - Events role sits in the Events team. This team is responsible for a portfolio of third party organised sports events - such as London Marathon, Tough Mudder, Cardiff Half and skydives - that will raise more than £4.5 million in the next financial year.

The Events team is a part of a wider Community, Events and Products Fundraising team. Our vision is to engage, grow and inspire a community of passionate fundraisers to power the fight for mental health. Because together, we can change lives.

You'll play a pivotal role in the Community, Events and Products Fundraising team's strategic objective to sustain and improve the portfolio to raise £12.9million by March 2026

This is a 12 month fixed term contract to cover a secondment.

Key duties and responsibilities

The post holder will:

-Steward event participants; this could include undertaking welcome calls, sending supporter communications, providing ongoing fundraising support, following up non-payments, personalised thanking, and supporter surveys. This can be done across a range of channels including mail, email, and telephone, online and face to face.

-Attend events to help enhance our supporters experience and deepen their relationship with Mind.

-Work with the Senior Fundraising Officer to deliver events fundraising activity. This can include planning, writing and submitting briefs, generating marketing and stewardship communications, working with third party agencies, setting up web pages, delivering memorable on the day experiences for our supporters, reporting and analysing live activity and conducting evaluations.

-Analyse and interpret data, including marketing and stewardship performance, and adjust tactics to continuously improve and ensure results are met.

-Produce high quality analysis reports for activities, including recommendations to inform and improve future fundraising.

-Work with our media agency and internal Digital Teams to achieve Mind's digital-first strategy, attending training opportunities with internal teams and external agencies to upskill as needed, and thinking digital-first in the briefing of all new activity.

-Maintain high standards of data capture by ensuring data entered on systems are accurate and timely, in accordance with the team's requirements.
