This role will focus on enhancing fundraising efforts for a major refurbishment of one of their largest children’s hospitals. - Develop and write persuasive grant proposals and funding applications for identified opportunities.

- Collaborate with internal teams to gather necessary information and insights for crafting compelling narratives that effectively communicate the project's impact and needs.

The Community Engagement Practitioner will be an essential contact and facilitator for existing scheme members. The post holder will provide consistency and enthusiasm across all activities while ensuring all practices are underpinned by co-creation, delivery and future development of the scheme by the members of Connect. This is an exciting opportunity to be alongside our members and to provide day-to-day practical support, signposting, and safe spaces for membership interaction. Whilst being homebased, the Community Engagement Practitioner will be required to work flexibly including regular evening working and occasional weekends as well as travelling for team meetings, member events, training and other in person events.

- A minimum of 2 years’ experience of working with children and young people and adults from the age of 15 years upwards.

The Consultant role will support the Director and Mobilise team to coordinate and deliver a range of projects supporting our clients. Safe Passage International (SPI) is recruiting an Arrivals and Social Support Worker to support to continuing and sustainable growth in our ground-breaking work to ensure that safe routes to sanctuary exist for all people seeking asylum, and that the young people and families we work with have dignity and safety on arrival.
This Arrivals and Social Support Worker will work with young people and families to support them in their reunification and arrival to the UK. This legal casework is facilitated by our UK Legal Team and covers a range of geographic regions inside and outside of Europe, including responding to emerging crises such as working to support people fleeing Afghanistan, Ukraine, Sudan and Palestine.
Reunification and resettlement is a difficult process. This role will involve conducting pre-arrival needs assessments, preparing the family for the reunification, and supporting them after they arrive in the UK. The Arrivals and Social Support Worker will also help young people and families transition into their new life, by supporting them with the practical and emotional aspects of resettling in the UK. You will work with the family and professionals and act as a bridge into longer term services and support. This role will also provide social support on a case-by-case basis for others in vulnerable situations, including family members pre-arrival, as well as to those on our Young Leaders Programme. The team was created in order to have trained, skilled staff ready to cover gaps in service and facilitate the continued smooth running of services, proactively supporting women and children who have experienced domestic abuse. They are required to go into different teams and quickly establish themselves and provide support in times where staff teams may be struggling.
About the Role
In all services, peri workers provide nonjudgmental, confidential, and trauma-informed support to survivors of domestic and sexual abuse. Typical tasks include risk assessment, safety planning, and working with survivors to develop individual support plans.
Peri workers have the opportunity to work in a variety of roles across Solace’s services. Working across departments offers peri workers the ability to continually develop their knowledge, casework skills, advocacy skills, multi-agency working, and ability to manage and thrive in a changing environment.
The role will involve commuting to sites across London, and although hybrid working may be available in some projects it is not possible for all. Travel is taken into consideration when confirming placements, however you should be prepared for longer commutes.
This role in certain placements will require you to work a rota including weekend hours between 8am – 8pm.

About the role
The Corporate Relationships Executive provides administrative solutions and support to the Business and Industry (B&I) team, with a particular focus on supporting our work with Corporate Members. About the role:
You may be a qualified IDVA or a Domestic Abuse Outreach Worker wanting to work alongside health professionals.
This role involves both face to face and virtual support. There is an expectation that you will do a mixture of working from home, our office in Old Street and in co-location at Northwick Park Hospital.
As a Hospital Independent Domestic Violence Advocate you will:
- Implement effective ways of working with victims and those supporting them to increase safety and reduce harm.

- Supporting communications around impact evaluation and reporting
- Proven ability leading a communications team
- Liaising and influencing high-level executives and key stakeholders
- Knowledge of working in a charity, health or research setting
- Preparing, managing and monitoring annual plans and budgets

The Role
In this role you will be one of the Governance Officers responsible for ensuring excellent service to our Council, Board and Committees. This will include:
* drafting agendas, minutes, workplans and action lists
* collating and distributing meeting materials electronically, and
* assisting with the appointment and reappointment processes for committee members and committee chairs and other governance projects.
Within the Governance team your role is likely to consist primarily in providing a secretariat service to a portfolio of sub-committees of the Board and/or sub-committees of Council covering a range of matters central to the work of the Law Society and our relationship with the profession and wider stakeholders.
Governance Officers also cover for one another on an ad-hoc basis during periods of annual leave or sickness.
What we're looking for
You will have proven experience of working in a governance or related role and understanding of how a successful governance team operates.
You must have excellent minute-taking skills coupled with excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to work flexibly in response to changing priorities.
You will also have excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to deal with sometimes demanding individuals and competing priorities and high level of attention to detail.
