If you are an experienced Digital Manager with a passion for Web development and the more technical aspects of digital marketing, then we have the opportunity for you! The opportunity has arisen for a “digital guru” to join our small digital and marketing team, to develop engaging and accessible content across our range of websites, to share knowledge and experience with the team and boost the profile of our profession.
The role requires someone with a hybrid creative/technical mind: a high standard of digital skills (e.g. good HTML skills, with knowledge of common Content Management Systems, Social Media channels, email marketing and Google Ads), and familiarity with popular digital tools, combined with good content development skills (i.e. a capable writer, with an eye for design, and excellent attention to detail) and the enthusiasm to learn quickly, on-the-job. Knowledge and prior experience of website accessibility would be a bonus too.
The ideal candidate will have advanced digital skills, extensive experience with content production and digital marketing tools. Experience within a Membership organisation is advantageous but not essential. This busy role is part of a small team with big ambitions, so the ideal person will be able to juggle priorities efficiently, pick up new skills and projects quickly, and work collaboratively across the organisation for the best results.
CTSI has embraced remote and flexible working and as such, this role is mainly remote, with IT and DSE equipment provided. However, we are hybrid with a small office near Cannon Street in Central London and our Head Office in Basildon, Essex, and expectations are for all staff to attend for mandatory meetings, usually once a month. There may be occasions where other travel is necessary, such as for client meetings or exhibitions, but this will be communicated in advance.

Purpose: To advance Ceasefire’s new strategy by developing donor support for civilian rights programmes based in conflict-affected countries, including in the Middle East, Africa and Ukraine.
Responsibilities:
1. Donor research and development
To research, identify and nurture potential donors, including in the human rights, development and humanitarian sectors by:
· Monitoring open calls for proposals
· Identifying and developing potential donors, including outside of formal calls for proposals
· Expanding Ceasefire’s pool of existing project donors.
2. Programme design and proposal writing
In consultation with Ceasefire colleagues and new and existing civil society partners, to design new programmes to advance Ceasefire’s strategy and to prepare concept notes, full proposals and budgets for submission to donors.
3. Donor and supporter relations
To manage regular communications with donors and supporters, including communications on programme outputs, achievements and impact.
4. Oversight/management of specific programmes
To manage or oversee the implementation of specific projects or programmes as required.

PERSON SPECIFICATION:
Education:
First degree in a relevant subject, such as international relations, development, law, politics/sociology.
Desirable: knowledge of international humanitarian law (law of armed conflict) and/or international human rights law.
Experience:
Essential: Three years of professional experience working with or for donors in the international development, humanitarian or human rights sectors.
Desirable: Professional experience working in an international environment. Experience/understanding of working with civil society in challenging environments.
Skills:
Programme design: practical understanding of the programme life cycle and demonstrated experience in designing projects according to logical framework or other planning tool(s).
Proposal writing: ability to write clear and persuasive programme proposals, based on logical programme designs and Ceasefire’s existing policies.
Budgeting and finance: Ability to create, amend and monitor multi-year programme budgets. High level of numeracy and financial accuracy.
Communications: a) Excellent social media skills for a professional environment, including

What you’ll be doing
As a Campaigns Analyst, you’ll play a crucial role in shaping River Action’s fight for cleaner rivers by transforming complex data and information into compelling narratives that influence public opinion, media coverage, political advocacy, and legal action.
Reporting to the Head of Campaigns, you’ll be at the heart of our evidence-based approach. You’ll be analysing government and industry data, uncovering insights, and equipping our team with the intelligence needed to challenge polluters, hold regulators accountable, and push for policy reform.
Like a detective, you will be the person we rely on to seek out and identify the smoking gun - as well as to meticulously build out the pieces of the jigsaw - that demonstrates the malpractice, illegal behaviour or mismanagement of a water company, a factory farm or a failed regulator.

Monitor government regulators and industry updates, tracking regulatory programmes, announcements, data, reports and other information.

Develop and lead proactive data collection efforts including by making Freedom of Information (FOI) and Environmental Information Regulation (EIR) requests to inform and support campaigns, legal actions, investigations and communications.

Plan, execute and report public opinion polls to gather insights that strengthen campaign messaging.

Analyse and interpret complex data to uncover key insights that drive impactful campaigns and communications.

Map and assess major campaign factors, including pollution sources, supply chains, regulatory frameworks and industry compliance.

As Operational Director of the RSPB's delivery programme in North Scotland, you will be uniquely placed to make a positive contribution to these twin crises. What's the role about?
As part of the Scotland Leadership Team, the North Scotland Operations Director leads the RSPB’s place-based delivery, primarily across our nature reserves and within the RSPB’s Priority Landscapes where we are working to influence and support others to restore nature and inspire communities within some of Scotland’s most iconic landscapes.
This is a role for an exceptional director, with a team of approximately 150 staff and 500 volunteers, significant budget (£5M+), land based commercial operations, major project and risk accountability, and responsibility for restoring some of Scotland’s most threatened species & habitats.
The role covers four large Operational Areas which comprise the RSPB’s North Scotland Region, including the organisation's two largest nature reserves. The Operations Director line manages 4 Area Managers in the following operational areas:
- Shetland & Northeast Scotland;
- Orkney;
- North Highland and Outer Hebrides, and
- South Highland.
Other line reports are the Senior Programme Manager for the Scotland Peatland Programme, and the Inverness Office Manager.
Alongside the Operational Director role, the post holder also has overall responsibility for some of the RSPB’s largest and most high-profile projects and programmes, including the Orkney Native Wildlife project, the Scotland Peatland Programme, and Cairngorms Connect.
We’re looking for a talented director with experience of managing a diverse and dispersed operational portfolio. You’ll be someone who can build strong collaborations (both internally & externally), and you’ll be comfortable representing the RSPB to a range of audiences, from community groups to public agency executives and leaders alongside politicians and Government Ministers.
You should be confident to make decisions and be able to balance risk and opportunity. An understanding of - and an ability to operate within - governance, finance and risk frameworks is also a key part of the role. A background in nature conservation isn’t necessary, but you’ll be passionate about our mission and joining the movement to end the nature & climate emergency.
Essential skills, knowledge and experience:
- Educated to degree level or relevant high-level experience to effectively communicate complex messages and use management information to undertake responsibilities.
- Knowledge of the RSPB and its mission

Our primary duties encompass global fundraising initiatives, comprehensive communications strategies, promotional endeavours, support for the network of over 150 UWC national committees, global strategy development and implementation, and support services to the UWC schools.

- Generous holiday allowance – 28 days per year plus eight public holidays (pro rata for part-time or fixed-term contracts).
- The standard working hours are 38.5 per week. We operate hybrid working arrangements, with at least 20% of the week worked in the office and up to 80% worked from home. We support flexible working and are happy to discuss different working patterns.

- Contributory pension scheme, UWC International currently contributes up to 8% of the employee’s gross salary, and the employee must match the percentage of up to 8% of their gross salary. The minimum contribution rate is 4%. This applies to everyone aged 22 and above but under state retirement age, earning at least £10,000 p.a. and classed as working in the UK.
Visa requirements

This is the opportunity to play an influential and impactful role in one of the most important causes of our generation – the climate emergency. Trees will enable 25% of the UK's 2050 net zero ambition and this role sits at the heart of this, supporting one of the UK’s largest woodland creation partnerships, England’s Community Forests.
The Community Forest Trust (CFT) is a charity that supports, enables and champions England’s Community Forests (ECFs). Across England there are 15 Community Forests that deliver social, economic, and environmental impact through woodland creation and restoration. In 2024/2025 they will plant over 2.5 million trees, most of which are funded through Defra’s national tree planting programme, the Nature for Climate Fund Programme.
The Managing Director will have the drive, rigour, and organisational and stakeholder management skills to develop and deliver a new CFT Business Plan. The current Business Plan was developed in 2022 and runs to March 2025. It has now been delivered.
The Managing Director will be responsible for providing the overall leadership and management of CFT and ensure effective governance and compliance with all legal requirements. To fulfil this aim, the Managing Director must ensure that robust structures and systems are in place to deliver CFT’s strategic priorities and CFT’s charitable aims and objectives.
A few key responsibilities of the role include:
- Take ownership of delivering the future direction and shape of CFT and deliver the CFT vision
- Provide organisational leadership for CFT, establishing and implementing business objectives through a business plan
- Work closely with the Chair of the Board, Trustees and staff, building positive working relationships in a constructive and consultative environment
- Manage the agreements (service delivery) with the ECFs with who CFT has a specific and formal arrangement
- Deliver the services and outcomes to the ECF Network, the Forests that CFT supports and those Forests that CFT runs
- Support project development work taking place at local level to support the Northern Forest programme
- Develop and lead funding strategies and write or assist with writing funding bids when required

To be successful in the role, the postholder must have previous senior management and leadership experience gained at an organisation of comparable scale and complexity. A track record of developing and implementing Business Plans is also a must, along with experience of representing an organisation to external stakeholders and forming effective partnerships, working effectively with a board of trustees or equivalent, and managing contracts and service providers.
The postholder will have outstanding leadership skills with the ability to develop strategic plans and motivate and inspire others, knowledge of financial management, including budgets/cashflow, income generation and writing successful funding applications, and knowledge of community engagement and mobilisation.
