VOICES are excited to be seeking our first full time fundraiser to support our growth and development. This role will also involve working to help develop VOICES’ name, increasing community awareness of our charity. You will therefore bring with you, knowledge of social media, marketing and communications and/or a willingness to learn.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop, oversee and actively lead the implementation of a fundraising strategy which exploits a wide range of fundraising opportunities, maintains diverse and sustainable income streams, and builds the organisation’s voluntary income capacity to meet its aims and objectives.
- Oversee and support the development of fundraising, with consideration to diversifying our income avenues.
- Working closely with the CEO and Finance Assistant, maintain an overview of funding across the organisation and analyse income sources to manage the fundraising strategy, assess progress against targets and contribute towards our financial capacity.
- Absorb the knowledge of the team and consult with them regarding priorities, representation, approach and model.
- Work with the CEO to develop high quality grants and trusts applications (our current main source of income).
- Build on our existing corporate partnerships and establish / develop new corporate partnerships for VOICES.
- Attend Finance Committee meetings and the Board of Trustees, reporting on fundraising and progress against the strategy.
- Help to grow the name of VOICES, through use of relationships, partnerships, marketing and communications.
- Work closely with the Centre Administrator to agree a planned approach to social media.
- Working with the VOICES team, consider the role of volunteers in VOICES – taking management responsibility for any fundraising volunteers.
- In line with our trauma-informed ethos, adopt a trauma-informed approach.
- Work with clients, including the Lived Experience Group, to hear their ideas for fundraising and enable their participation in events / volunteer opportunities where appropriate.
- Develop and maintain relationships with a variety of key stakeholders including Clients, funders (including trusts, companies, major donors), Trustees and volunteers.
- Continuously monitor and evaluate fundraising activities, taking corrective action or enhancing them when necessary

ASH Co-op is a thriving tenant-managed housing co-op in Cambridge. We have two part-time staff and are looking for a focused, committed, self-motivated and enthusiastic person to take the role on to cover for maternity leave to start from late September.
This is a varied front-line role involving collecting rent and taking enquiries, including maintenance requests and applications for membership. It also involves monitoring budgets, some basic accounting and general office administration. To be responsible, with our other housing co-ordinator/s, for the day-to-day running of ASH Co-op in co-operation with the membership; deal with outside bodies on behalf of the co-op; keep computer records; maintain and develop office and financial systems; and provide administrative support for working groups.
REPORTING TO
The Employment Co-ordinators, who are elected by the members on to ASH Co-op’s committee.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
All tasks are to be carried out with the relevant Co-ordinators and Working Groups where appropriate. As a volunteer led organisation, the Housing Co-ordinators will be expected to liaise with working group co-ordinators from time to time to agree how tasks will split between them. A key responsibility of the Housing Co-ordinators is to provide continuity where volunteers are unable to do so.
The successful applicant will be able to work Tuesdays and spread remaining hours across other weekdays between 8am-7pm when needed. The core office opening hours are 9.30am- 5pm. This role is being offered on a 13 month fixed contract.

Job purpose:
As a key member of Saferworld's senior leadership team, the Director of Finance and Operations will be instrumental in helping to shape the organisation's strategic direction. Person specification
Knowledge, qualifications and experience
- Accountancy qualifications, preferably CIMA, ACA and ACCA, and a clear understanding of Charity Fund accounting (SORP 2008 and the Charities Act 2003)
- Extensive experience in financial management and interdepartmental budgeting in a senior leadership position in an international organisation (preferable and international charity/non-for-profit).
- In-depth understanding of the complexity of overseeing and managing finances in an international context, particularly in contexts of conflict and/or war, including complexities of banking, tax, cash-flow management, exchange rate fluctuations and impact on budgets and forecasts, financial reporting, legal compliance, and transferring of funds to civil society and community-based organisation within different contexts, including conflict-affected areas.
- Senior leadership experience within the charity/not-for-profit sector and an understanding of costing funding bids and ensuring financial reporting systems meet funder requirements
- Experience of engaging and working with diverse funding streams including institutional donors, commercial contracts and Trust and Foundations and multiple currencies and geographic jurisdictions,
- Experience of working with a business partnering approach to achieve with others joint goals.
- An understanding and experience of project management delivery across an organisation, including an ability and willingness to undertake 'hands-on' tasks, such as preparing budgets, cash flows and other financial planning, management and control processes if required

FUNDRAISING
- Be a point of contact for fundraising, ensuring a positive experience for funders and managing financial transactions to agreed fundraising policies and processes.

Role Summary
The Programme Coordinator (Scotland) is a key point of contact for the Into Film Programme in Scotland and delivers Into Film’s Programmes and projects both face to face and online within a bespoke Scottish context/approach. This will require detailed knowledge and understanding of the education and screen industry landscape in Scotland.
Due to the nature of the role, occasional weekend and extended working hours are required, along with regular travel to designated regions and occasional travel elsewhere in the UK.
Main Responsibilities:
- To deliver various elements of the new Into Film programme in Scotland including, but not limited to, CPD/training for teachers at all career stages, events, conferences, round tables, Teachmeet style gatherings and teacher panels both online and face to face
- To develop, sustain and be the local point of contact for schools, partners, individuals and organisations that add value or are users of the Into Film programme including a focus on EEDI and how Into Film can specifically, positively reach and include those who are underserved and underrepresented.
- To feed into and then deliver the plans in Scotland across the programme (including Teaching with Film, Careers and Progression and Young Creatives (plus Into Film Festival, Into Film Awards and additionally funded programmes, as needed)

Person Specification:
- Deep knowledge and understanding of the Scotland landscape including education policy and curriculum, and the screen industries.

The Access & Participation Project Coordinator is a brand new, exciting role designed to support LSESU’s work around access and participation.
The successful candidate will play a lead role in identifying areas where there is a need/opportunity for targeted interventions to support the experiences of students from disadvantaged backgrounds, before putting then translating these into evidence-based proposals.
The Access & Participation Project Coordinator will be responsible for designing, implementing and delivering these programmes, as well as for reporting back on them and proactively seeking ways of driving continuous improvement.
The role will also oversee the delivery of the Black and Minority Ethnic (BME) Mentoring Scheme. This landmark programme, that was last year nominated at the National Diversity Awards, pairs students from ethnic minority backgrounds with LSE alumni, who provide the former with mentoring and support during their studies.
The successful person will be responsible for reviewing the programme and seeking to build upon its fledgling success to ensure it is bigger, better and more impactful than ever.
This role will also involve close working with stakeholders at LSE, especially those working on the delivery of LSE’s Access & Participation Plan (APP).
You would be joining a fantastic and friendly Advice Team, consisting of the Advice Caseworker and Advice Manager, that sits within the wider Student Voice Department, and which together oversees all of the Union’s advice, policy, democratic, campaigning and representation work.
Given the breadth of work undertaken within the department, expect there to be plenty of opportunities to grow, develop and pick up new skills outside of the main responsibilities of the role.

We’re seeking a Volunteering and Participation Coordinator to join our fantastic Volunteering and Participation team!
As our organisation grows we want to ensure we are consistently providing a great experience for volunteers and lived experience participants, right through from recruitment and onboarding, to providing support and enabling them to be ambassadors for the charity once they move on.

Age UK Islington is developing a new befriending service in the coming months. As part of this development, we have an exciting opportunity for a part-time role as a Befriending Coordinator.
This will involve supporting all aspects of service development, partnership building, volunteer recruitment, training and management and matching volunteers to clients for home visits, telephone befriending and/or activity-based befriending. The post holder will also be responsible for case recording, monitoring and service evaluation.
The role is for 15 hours per week; this may increase to 21 hours per week dependant on the success of future funding applications. There is flexibility around when you work these hours.
