Role description:
We are seeking a highly motivated self-driven, and energetic individual to join our Fundraising Team as the Corporate Fundraising Officer. You will lead on fostering excellent working relationships with potential and existing corporate partners. You will need to work closely with the Philanthropy and Partnerships Manager to shape the plans required for the future.
The post holder will require a good knowledge of fundraising and considerable energy and enthusiasm that will inspire excellent relationships by increasing charity of the year partnerships and employee fundraising/giving. You will be target driven, proactive, a determined self-starter and thrive on working with a range of partners, encouraging them to choose Southampton Hospitals Charity as their preferred charity.
Main Responsibilities:

Proactively source, research and approach new corporates in order to achieve annual income targets with a focus on charity of the year partnerships, payroll giving, employee fundraising/giving, peer to peer initiatives and marketing opportunities.

Develop, implement, and sustain a dynamic corporate fundraising portfolio, maintaining a well-organised pipeline of funding opportunities.

Devise and implement a long-term corporate fundraising strategy to cultivate and secure significant donations from new and existing supporters.

Curate an excellent cultivation and stewardship journey in order to build and strengthen relationships and maximise income to meet agreed income targets.

Attend and contribute to networking events, whilst actively organising events to foster relationships with new and existing corporate donors.

Identify, pursue and make applications to corporate funding opportunities by aligning proposals with companies' ESG policies, emphasising shared values and potential partnerships.

Develop creative fundraising campaigns and commercial sponsorship opportunities working with the events team to support with event costs.

Work with the wider charity team to identify networks of prospective corporate partners and plan relationship building as most appropriate.

Maintain precise and well-managed donor information in the organisation’s database to facilitate efficient tracking and follow-up, and ensure records are kept up to date in a timely, accurate and consistent manner.

Person Specification:
Knowledge and experience -

Excellent IT skills including using Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint as well as experience of administering and maintaining dedicated supporter CMS databases.

Knowledge of a fundraising database and knowledge of fundraising regulations e.g. GDPR (Beacon used).

Summary of role
The Chief Operating Officer (COO) is a pivotal role for our Alliance, acting as deputy to the Executive Director (ED) and leading on operationalising our strategy to protect children from sexual exploitation and abuse online.

Job description
1. Organisational leadership and people management
-
Work with the ED and SMT to ensure a values-led and positive organisational culture is reflected throughout ways of working, internal communication, policies and processes, and all team activities.

Line-manage Senior Management Team (SMT) members, operational roles and other roles as necessary (currently Head of Development, Head of Communications and Engagement, Head of Policy, Advocacy and Research, and Operations Manager).

Chair weekly SMT meetings.
-
Oversee human resources and people management processes, ensuring alignment with best practice in areas including recruitment, induction, performance management, safety, wellbeing, learning and development, and benefits.

Ensure diversity, inclusion and equity (DEI) considerations are at the forefront of all work and decisions, working alongside our expert DEI Consultant.

Oversee the bi-annual, in-person team retreat.

Prostate Cancer Research exists to honour the men and families who have been through things no family should have to go through, and to work for a future where no one needs to fear a prostate cancer diagnosis.
We are always working to provide resources to help, support and empower patients. Giving them the information they need to make better choices about their treatment, while working to identify and target specific unmet needs in the prostate cancer ecosystem, such as racial inequality and bone metastasis.
Our dedicated staff team is the key to our success, expanding the amount of research that we fund five times over in four years. PCR has been shortlisted for an Impact Prize and won the Change Project of the year award in 2023.
It’s been a successful couple of years for PCR’s Events & Community team with good results across the portfolio, raising over £1.4m (against a target of £800k) in 2023-24. Now’s an exciting time as we’ve recently expanded the team, whilst refreshing our structure and roles to make priorities clear and ensure the whole team can do their best work – contributing to PCR’s lifesaving mission, developing in their careers and enjoying their jobs within our ambitious and supportive team.
We are now recruiting for a new Events & Community Executive to join the frontline of our fundraising stewardship, so strong relationship-building skills and a love of creating great supporter experiences are essential. A big part of this role is project managing PCR’s fundraising activities, including virtual and third-party challenges. This requires a proactive approach, an eagerness to learn and a readiness to get stuck in with a positive attitude, as well as some experience of leading a project yourself in the past. Event management and delivery

Lead the delivery of the fundraising activities you are working on, keeping an eye on objectives, budgets and the bigger picture to ensure that opportunities to improve and maximise fundraising are seized.

Stewardship

Lead on delivering PCR’s supporter journeys for your projects, providing a high level of stewardship with an understanding of the connection between engagement and the income & awareness raised for PCR.

Carry out regular stewardship tasks including content delivery, the management of stewardship tools (e.g. Mailchimp, GivePanel & Kudosity) and responding to supporter queries via all channels. Plenty of training on tools will be provided!

Collaborate with the team on the upkeep of supporter journeys, using feedback & data to spot opportunities for constant improvement of fundraisers’ experience with PCR and motivating them to raise more and remain loyal supporters.
Marketing and Recruitment

Work with the Events team managers and external marketing consultants to create effective marketing plans and lead on their implementation, making best efforts to hit acquisition targets for the fundraising activities you are working on.

Create & deliver marketing plans and assets which are tailored by a good understanding of our existing & target audiences.

With the support of team managers, track and analyse marketing performance to proactively suggest improvements.
Administration and Database

Manage stock fulfilment, sending merchandise to supporters and replenishing materials as required, ensuring high quality, good value and an appropriate & creative application of PCR’s brand.

Carry out participant data processing, income processing and budget management tasks as required, including coding, database administration, paying invoices and tracking income & expenditure in logs.

Ensure your fundraising activities are delivered in line with fundraising law & regulations and PCR’s policies.

Purpose of The role
Habitat GB is seeking a dedicated and experienced Global Advocacy Manager to lead our efforts in advocating for policy change within the UK government (in particular targeting the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office) to prioritise housing in international development. This pivotal role will play a crucial part in supporting Habitat for Humanity's global advocacy agenda which aims to promote equitable access to adequate housing worldwide, focusing on informal settlements in the Global South. Main Responsibilities

Person Specification

As the Senior MEL Officer in the MEL team, you will support the Head of Impact & Learning and the MEL Manager, as well as the Programmes & Impact department and wider team, to measure and analyse the quality and impact of our programming. Department purpose
This role sits within the Programmes & Impact department, which is responsible for the development and delivery of our programmes and services, ensuring they are delivered to a high quality, remain responsive to women entrepreneurs’ needs and have demonstrable impact. The department is divided into three teams: Entrepreneurship, which is responsible for delivery of services such as HerVenture and the four ‘Road to’ programmes, Mentoring, which is responsible for development and delivery of the Mentoring Women in Business programme, and MEL, which is responsible for quality impact measurement, analysis and research.
Key responsibilities
Main obligations
- Support the development and implementation of MEL systems and tools across Mentoring and Entrepreneurship projects, providing the Foundation with the necessary information to understand our impact and inform programme improvements.
- Support in collection and analysis of organisational KPIs and provide overall operational support for the MEL team.
Specific responsibilities
- Programme Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning
- Ensure up-to-date programme monitoring and evaluation materials (surveys, data collection tools and theoretical frameworks) are in place for existing programmes as well as those that are in development.
- In collaboration with colleagues in the Mentoring and Entrepreneurship teams, execute the annual calendar of programme and partner surveys, including uploading and testing the surveys.

Operations: Help our team make the best use of their time and support the delivery of cross-organizational goals. Develop, maintain and improve core resources – including our handbook and policies, guides and templates.
- Office and tools for work: Maintain a safe, functional and welcoming office and a navigable virtual working environment, supporting the team with the space, equipment and materials they need to do their best work. You are the main point of contact for our IT support, our office community managers, and for general enquiries.
- Governance and advisory: Support the engagement and leadership of our governance and advisory groups with the logistics and materials needed for their meetings – and support senior management by aligning the team to deliver our regular progress reports, as well as our planning and reporting cycles.
- People, internal communication and culture: help ensure our team’s time together adds value to our work and our cohesion by organizing key internal communications and events. Support hiring managers and prospective new hires by coordinating a seamless recruitment process and being a friendly and informative point of contact.

The PKD Charity seeks a motivated and experienced grants fundraiser to drive our income growth from trusts, foundations, corporate partners, and other grant-making bodies. In this critical role, you will lead efforts to identify, research, and apply for grants, and will nurture ongoing relationships to ensure sustained and impactful support. With guidance from the CEO, you will play a key role in securing funding to expand the charity’s programs and increase our reach.
Our mission is to improve the lives of those affected by polycystic kidney disease (PKD) through research, education, advocacy and support. PKD is one of the most common life-threatening genetic diseases, affecting about 70,000 adults and children in the UK. It causes kidney failure, affects other organs, reduces life expectancy and there is currently no cure. We are dedicated to finding new treatments and helping everyone with PKD have the best life they can.
As our Trusts and Grants Officer, you will join a dedicated team of five, working collaboratively to realise our ambitious goals. This remote role can be worked from anywhere in the UK, ideally over 2 days Monday-Friday. The salary for the role is £29,000-£31,000 (pro rata £11,600- £12,400).
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Identify Funding Opportunities: Research trusts, foundations, and other funding bodies whose criteria align with PKD Charity’s work. Build a robust pipeline of potential funders.
Craft Compelling Applications: Prepare, write, and submit high-quality, persuasive funding applications. Tailor proposals to meet each funder’s specific guidelines and highlight the charity’s unique impact.
Data-Driven Case Development: Gather and analyse relevant information to create compelling cases for support, backed by data that showcases the impact of our programs.
Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective funders, ensuring consistent communication, appreciation, and donor care to foster long-term engagement.
Expand Funding Pool: Utilise sector knowledge to identify and approach new funders, increasing the charity’s income streams and securing diverse funding sources.
Progress Tracking and Reporting: Provide regular updates to the CEO on application progress, successful funding, and potential new opportunities. Develop and manage systems to monitor deadlines, submissions, income received, and application status.
Donor Communication: Ensure funders are kept informed about the charity’s work, including submitting progress reports and impact updates that highlight the value of their contributions.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other colleagues, especially service delivery and finance, to ensure that information sharing and reporting are aligned and effective.
ABOUT YOU:
Proven Experience: You have a strong background in fundraising, particularly in trust and foundation grants, and are comfortable working independently in a remote setting.
Organised and Detail-Oriented: You excel at managing multiple projects, meeting deadlines, and paying close attention to detail.
Collaborative Team Player: You are flexible and ready to contribute to various aspects of the charity's work, embracing a team spirit.
Effective Communicator: You possess excellent writing skills for creating compelling grant applications and are skilled at nurturing funder relationships through clear and professional communication.
Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with CRM systems and website management is a plus, as is a proactive approach to automating processes where possible.
