About the role

As Clinical Director you will:

• Oversee our Counselling Service, leading on clinical matters and decision-making regarding clients, and monitoring performance.

• Provide regular management supervision and ad hoc clinical supervision to our team of Associate Counsellors (currently 33).

• Oversee the work of our employee ‘Service Team’ (currently 5), including line managing our Service Manager.

• Be the main point of contact for our Associate Supervisors (currently 2).

• Lead on the development and growth of our Counselling Service and other services, including recruitment and improvements to clinical practice.

• Be part of the Senior Leadership Team, helping to drive the Charity forward and achieve its ambitious growth plans. 

• Be the Charity’s Designated Safeguarding Lead.

• Regularly review and update our client-related policies and procedures.

• Undertake other duties consistent with the role and as directed by the CEO.

About you

Based within easy commuting distance of our office in Westminster, our ideal candidate would be an experienced counsellor and supervisor who has been involved in running a counselling service and managing a team of counsellors.

Advocacy Manager

You will be working with the Director of Policy and Strategic Partnerships in the development and delivery of MAG’s advocacy work, including leadership of MAG’s UK parliamentary engagement, and contribution to the European and US engagement strategies.

The successful candidate will have previous experience of engaging and influencing UK parliamentarians, including the House of Commons and House of Lords, in support of advocacy objectives through a variety of tactics. The role:

This is a key role within the Executive Leadership team, with accountability for Finance, Procurement and IT at the Globe. The Willow Major Events Team hosts a range of events to engage Willow’s key supporters. These range in large-scale events such as the Willow Ball and London Football Awards, to smaller more intimate events such as Golf and Shoot Days.

Job purpose

• This role will support the delivery of Willow’s programme of Major Events, as well as supporting third party events, ensuring that these promote and present Willow in a professional and compelling manner, maximising opportunities for donor cultivation, fundraising and maximising income generation.

Core Events

• To support the events strategy through delivery of high-quality events, designed to attract current and new supporters.

The Education Officer will enthuse young people and local communities about their local seas and amazing marine life through unique boat-based education experiences and innovative co-design education approaches. 

Hebridean Whale and Dolphin Trust (HWDT) is a marine conservation charity based on the Isle of Mull. This role is responsible for the development and delivery of HWDT’s new education project, Hebridean Marine Explorers - Connecting Scotland’s seas and communities.

The Education Officer will develop and deliver:

• a 12-week co-design project with schools resulting in a community exhibition

• a programme of digital school workshops

• boat-based floating classroom education workshops

• marine mammal research expeditions for young people

• community open boat events.

Educating young people on land and at sea is key to the role so we are seeking a confident, enthusiastic, organised self-motivator, familiar working with schools and young people, with outstanding communication skills. Experience of marine mammal surveys and the ability to identify cetacean species in the Scottish waters is also essential to the role.

We are looking for somebody experienced in teaching and delivering environmental education activities and training for young people, ideally with knowledge of co-design project delivery and its implementation within a primary school environment.

This is a new role within the communications and engagement team, with responsibility for helping our members to campaign and secure improvements to regional transport accessibility. The role is part of our work to achieve justice in society, where disabled people’s voices are amplified, and our message is heard and acted upon.

You will work across the north of England, mirroring the regions covered by the Sub-national Transport Body ‘Transport for the North’. You must live in this region to apply and undertake this position.

You will collaborate with Transport for All members, disabled people’s organisations, and civil society organisations, bringing disabled people together to share our views on accessible transport and make change. Where campaigning is already taking place, you will work alongside it, offering resources and practical support as desired.

You will need to stay abreast of transport developments in your region, and work closely with other teams to share your insights. This will ensure local disabled people’s experiences guide the national agenda.

1. Planning and development (10% of time)

· Represent Transport for All at meetings and events, including giving presentations on our work

· Organise and deliver regular member meetings online and offline, providing space for people to connect, share transport accessibility news and plan and progress campaigns

· Contribute and commission member content for the member newsletter, website, and social media

· Speak to the media and develop and grow a network of local members willing to train as spokespeople for meetings and media interviews

· Promote and grow a diverse membership in your region

· Ensure members can take part in paid opportunities via the training, research and consultancy team

3. Policy influencing and campaigning (30% of time)

· Maintain awareness of the policy agenda for your area

· Keep abreast of transport issues local members are experiencing

· Act as a conduit between members, the Insight and Advice team, and the Policy, Public Affairs and Campaigns team

· Work collaboratively with the Policy, Public Affairs and Campaigns team to form and maintain relationships with key regional stakeholders

· Coordinate responses to regional transport consultations in line with Transport for All positions, coordinating contributions from members, and giving guidance to members who wish to respond individually.

· Bring together and support members and campaign groups to influence local policy through local or national Transport for All campaigns. This could mean you will:

o Support members with campaign planning

o Provide practical support eg booking venues and access support for meetings, coordinating emails to local members

o Give guidance on technical aspects of transport policy

o Attend meetings with decision makers alongside campaigners, and representatives from the Policy, Public Affairs and Campaigns team

o Publicise campaigns in local media

o Document campaigners’ experiences for others to learn from eg via website pieces or commissioned blogs

· Contribute to Transport for All’s understanding of overarching issues and contribute to national campaign planning.

4. Insight (10% of time)

· Share information about the Transport for All advice-line with members and the disabled community in your region

· Give updates on regional transport changes to the Insight and Advice team to support accurate advice giving and regional casework

5. General (at all times)

· Undertake any other tasks, duties or projects which may arise from time to time which are in line with the general level of this post and as instructed

· Undertake occasional evening and weekend work as required, and take responsibility for arranging time off in lieu with your manager

· Line manage and supervise members, contractors and staff as required

· Work within the Social Model of Disability

· Work in adherence to Transport for All’s values and staff policies

Skills

We’re looking for someone who:

1. Understands transport accessibility barriers for disabled people, this may be from personal experience

2. Lives in, and has knowledge of, the Transport for the North region, including political and/or transport structures

3. Is confident representing an organisation and building and managing external relationships

4. Has experience of working collaboratively to mobilise campaigners, including running meetings or events

5. Has a track record of securing change through campaigns, activism, public affairs or political influencing

6. Has versatile written and verbal communication skills, including listening skills

We're looking for an Income Officer to support the fundraising team at the Motor Neurone Disease (MND) Association by processing income accurately, maintaining data integrity, and providing excellent supporter care. This role is key to ensuring we can continue to deliver and grow our work.

Key Responsibilities:

As Income Officer, you'll play an important part in ensuring all income is accurately processed and allocated, while maintaining high standards of supporter care.

• Process income from various channels using the Raiser's Edge database, ensuring accuracy and consistency
• Allocate restricted income in line with supporter requests
• Build and maintain positive relationships with supporters to understand their giving intentions
• Respond to telephone, email and written queries, including complex cases, with professionalism and care
• Oversee regular giving from over 7,000 supporters via Direct Debit, Standing Order and Payroll Giving
• Manage data across multiple systems including Access databases, ensuring data integrity and accuracy
• Conduct Gift Aid audit checks before HMRC submission, supporting income generation of approx. £1 million annually
• Ensure compliance with Data Protection, HMRC and audit requirements when handling sensitive supporter data
• Contribute to process improvements by identifying and helping implement innovative solutions
• Collaborate with teams across the organisation to support shared goals and effective ways of working

About You:

You'll be an organised and detail-focused Income Officer with strong technical and communication skills.
