We are looking for an Account Executive to join our in-house Creative Studio team. You will coordinate the workflow of internally commissioned creative projects from teams across the organisation, which includes the end-to-end running of the creative process from brief to delivery.

You will also build strong and trusted relationships with commissioning teams and key stakeholders, developing knowledge and understanding of business needs, audiences, channels, and strategy.

You do not need to have experience in the charity sector - we are looking for someone with relevant transferrable skills and a positive, proactive attitude.

What will I be doing?

• Partnering with commissioning teams to be a key point of contact for workflow of jobs into the creative team, and support the creative operations team to inform planning and forecasting

• Being responsible for the smooth end-to-end running of the creative process and manage projects from planning, to brief, to delivery, ensuring stages are delivered on time and to high standard

• Liaising with the creative operations team and utilise the trafficking system to agree and schedule appropriate creative team resource needed to deliver projects

• Managing feedback and amendments directly with creatives and commissioning teams, giving clear and structured articulation of changes

• Being a guardian of the CRUK brand. Work with commissioning teams and creatives to ensure all creative work that leaves the creative team has passed a final point of quality assurance, is on brand and supports wider objectives.

• Being an essential partner in ensuring the best level of service is delivered for commissioning teams, identify, and resolve operational difficulties whilst maintaining the delivery of brilliant creative output

We're looking for a values led, (education) content minded and systematic project manager to join us a Conference Producer at We Are In Beta.

The goal is to grow our in person events offering for our community of MAT Directors of Education and School Improvement Leaders, which has already supported 85 MATs serving 90,000+ students.

Your role will be to produce face to face conferences that provide them honest, open and trusting spaces to share how they really achieve their results in practice.

What's the role?

Your job will be to produce in person conferences, with a difference, for MAT Directors of Education and School Improvement Leaders.

Events where practitioners don’t just share what’s worked but also what hasn’t - openly and transparently.

The aim is curate powerful and practical warts and all stories, which attendees can ask questions about and dig deep into each other's work.

What experience and skills do you have?

It’s not essential you tick every box below. But the more boxes you can tick the better. We can help you gain and learn from the experiences you haven’t had yet.

• Education and/or school leadership/teaching: Knowing how the MAT and school system works is a must. Knowing who does what role in MATs will help bring the right people in the right conversations and the right time. Knowing and understanding the kinds of problems and types of conversations MAT leaders and teachers is also helpful for this role

• Conference production: researching topics, inviting and booking speakers, crafting promotional materials, shouting loudly and proudly about the events and filling up spaces is key.

• Project management: Planning, tracking and delivering on project objectives across several workflows on time, every time. Managing multiple audiences who are likely to be at different stages of their engagement cycle.

• Digital marketing integration and automation: integrating and automating digital marketing platforms like eg MailChmip, Hubspot, Airtable and Zapier etc. Automating drip campaigns and email workflows.

• Copywriting (and digital marketing and email workflow design): designing and writing posts and emails that convert - whether than be speaker invitations, promotional posts or conference onboarding emails.

• Customer Relationship Management: designing, building and automating CRMs including sales pipeline design and management eg HubSpot and Airtable.

Project Scope and Time Commitment?

The aim of this role is to produce two conferences:

1. Trust Education Leaders Conference North (Feb/Mar) in Manchester
2. Trust Education Leaders Conference South (June/July) in Luton/Milton Keynes

Each conference takes about 14 weeks to plan and deliver working 2-3 days a week.

About the team

The team deliver a range of services, including training on housing and homelessness prevention, housing law consultancy, online resources and projects to support professionals working directly with people at risk of homelessness to get positive outcomes. The team covers all of England and works closely with teams including Learning and Organisational Development, Training and Support, Business Support, as well as our frontline Services and Legal Services.

About the role

Knowledge is power and we run over 1,600 training courses that attract 40,000 delegates each year. Your challenge, together with three other Operations Assistants will be to take responsibility for the administration and operational delivery of all of our courses, including face-to-face training and online via webinars and e-learning. We’ll rely on you to ensure that each course runs smoothly, all delegates and trainers have the instructions and information they need and that the highest level of customer care is provided. About the role:

We are looking to appoint a Kentown Family Support Worker to deliver a high-quality family support service as part of the pilot Kentown Children’s Palliative Care Programme, in collaboration with Kentown Wizard and Together for Short Lives.

Emotional Health & Wellbeing Practitioner - Universities across Birminghambased at University of Birmingham and Birmingham City University

The post-holder will work within an innovative mental health team.

Emotional Health and Wellbeing services opening hours supports the needs of the communities in which we work, and therefore there may be elements of unsociable hours - this may include evenings, weekends, and bank holidays. These will always be discussed and agreed

Permanent position but with a provisional end date for funding of 31st August 2025.

Salary: £29,855.00 FTE - £6,051.69 pro rata

Hours: 7.5 hours a week working Tuesday, with potential for additional hours

It is planned to offer one drop in on a Tuesday. The 7.5 hours a week will be worked over one day.

Spitfire Advice & Support Services Ltd is one of the foremost advice and advocacy community organisations in Birmingham and we are currently looking for an extraordinary person to join our organisation. 

We are seeking to appoint a Money Advice Case Worker with extensive experience of welfare benefits, debt advice and the relief of poverty.  Holding an IMA (Institute of Money Advisers’) qualification or recent GGDA (Giving Good Debt Advice) training will be essential.

We need to appoint someone who will understand and work with the clients who access our services, who are often vulnerable with multiple and complex needs and who will also work well as part of the team.  Based in Castle Vale our clients are from the Castle Vale Ward and the North East of Birmingham with some clients coming from the wider Birmingham area.  We are embedded in the local community and are passionate about improving the lives of the families, young and older people who reach to us for support.  We work hard to remove barriers, reduce isocial solation and increase financial inclusion for all our clients.

The appointee will need to have extensive experience of Legal Services Commission casework in the context of the Advice Quality Standard and will have worked in a target driven environment but who will also understand that people will always be our priority.  

Key Job purpose/Core Duties:

a) The delivery to AQS standard of the core Money Advice (benefit and debt casework) Service. This may be via telephone, MS Teams, email or face to face.

b) The provision of advocacy and court representation at tribunals or other statutory bodies as appropriate.

c) Taking client instructions; this may include, but is not limited to; drafting letters/emails to the client and third parties, preparing financial statements and negotiating with third parties.

d) Ensuring income maximisation through the take up of appropriate welfare benefits.

e) The support, with other team members/volunteers, of the delivery of the service on an outreach basis if required.

f) Working to targets to ensure that we meet all our contractual obligations.

g) Managing own caseload, opening and closing cases appropriately and carrying out reviews as required by AQS and the Head of Advice.

h) Maintain accurate case and client records using our digital case management system and for purpose of continuity of client casework, information retrieval, statistical monitoring and reporting preparation to AQS standards.

i) Ensuring that all casework meets AQS standards and complies with Money Advice Team Procedural Manual.

j) The maintenance of records and other data ensuring that it is up to date and accurate; either paper records (as required by Tribunal cases) or on our digital casework management system.

k) Ensuring that all confidential information is handled in line with the company’s Confidentiality Policy and GDPR Policy.

l) Carrying out other tasks as requested by the Head of Advice Service in support of the delivery of the project.

m) The implementation and maintenance of systems and procedures as required by your role.

n) Assist clients with related problems where they form an integral part of their case and refer to external agencies as appropriate.

About the team

Shelter Sheffield provide housing advice and support to people across the city, with a focus on emergency homelessness, intensive support for children and families, people experiencing domestic abuse and people with multiple and complex needs. We take a holistic approach to help people deal with interrelated issues that can impact their ability to keep a home and work for systemic changes to prevent homelessness and support over 5000 people every year.

About the role

With your own caseload of families, you will act as their key worker and support them to either resettle or prevent homelessness. Your primary focus will be on households where some tailored interventions are required around the needs of the children in order to stabilise their housing situation and enable the family to thrive. Accordingly, you’ll need to provide intensive, tailored support as part of a whole family approach in a 1-2-1 setting and through group work. You’ll also need to regularly visits clients’ homes and schools across the city and liaise with other agencies in the community in order to provide a co-ordinated service.

You will work closely with our existing team, supporting the delivery and organisation of the IntoUniversity programme in the centre.

The main duties of the role

To deliver the IntoUniversity programme effectively to children and young people in different settings, including schools-based workshops, Academic Support sessions and educational visits. This includes positive behaviour management and adherence to the IntoUniversity safeguarding policy.

• To assist with the organisation and delivery of the Academic Support, FOCUS and Mentoring Programmes.
• To assist the IntoUniversity Centre Leader in liaising with schools and other partner bodies, in organising the classroom and resources and in planning project delivery. 
• To update and maintain IntoUniversity displays, publicity and resources.
• To work with the IntoUniversity Centre Leader to recruit children and young people to the programme, including after-school Academic Support and FOCUS Weeks. 
• To develop educational resources and worksheets for use across all IntoUniversity programmes. 
• To ensure compliance with all necessary regulations and legal requirements, including the Children’s Act,  Children and Young People (Scotland) Act, Safeguarding Vulnerable Groups Act, Protection of Vulnerable  Groups (Scotland) Act, and legislation and policies related to Equal Opportunities and Health & Safety.

Days of employment (if term time only)
You will be employed 188 days (of 4 hours each) per year, made up as follows: 

• 164 days of work (inclusive of additional days below)
• 18 days of paid annual leave (to be taken outside of local school term times and on any bank holidays  occurring during term time). For the avoidance of doubt, non-working time during school holidays which is in excess of your holiday entitlement shall be unpaid.

Additional 32 hours (or 8 days of 4 hours each)

These will be agreed between you and your line-manager, and may include days during school holidays. They will typically include three whole team meetings, one delivery team meeting and the annual staff conference. These will be pro-rated based on when you join in the academic year.

The Business Engagement Manager (Delivery) will join a small team that supports businesses and organisations across a broad range of sectors to develop their modern slavery approach.

The role underpins one of the main strands in Unseen’s mission: identifying key slavery and exploitation issues, and equipping others with effective solutions through advice and training.

You will manage a number of business clients, both existing and new clients as they onboard, delivering consultancy projects and bespoke training, influencing and continuously improving business behaviours; working with clients to help them realise the benefits of their Hub and Portal memberships.
