We are looking to appoint a Programme Project Lead who will be responsible for the day to day development and management of the Kentown Children’s Palliative Care Programme.

Reporting to the Director of Care and based at our Kentown Care Team office in Lancaster, you will work in partnership with health, education and social care professionals, specifically Together for Short Lives to lead the project and to raise awareness of the programme and of children’s palliative care.

You will take responsibility for delivering a high-quality family support service, managing the Kentown Family Support Team and will be a member of the Rainbow Trust Care Managers group, contributing to service development across the wider organisation and providing management and leadership to the team in relation to all safeguarding issues.

Having worked within the community, you have a commitment to working in partnership with children, young people and their families, developing, monitoring and delivering service outcomes and building and maintaining successful professional partnerships to ensure the service is accessible to relevant families.

What we’re looking for:

· An experienced child health, education or social care professional - applications will be particularly welcome from those who understand the impact on family dynamics of having a child/young person with a life threatening or terminal illness and those who have worked in bereavement support.

· An experience project manager – you recognise the importance of effective partnership working to successfully lead a project of scale and importance

· A poised and convincing communicator - you will maintain effective relationships with stakeholders including families, referrers, partners and other statutory, private and voluntary agencies.

· Comfortable with a changing environment - you will thrive working at a fast pace and controlling tasks from conception to completion and understand that quickly connecting with people is essential.

· A persuasive, inclusive approach to achieving goals quickly and correctly – with a warm and friendly working style.

· Strong networking skills and confident use of MS Office - Educated to A-level (or equivalent) with a project management qualification.

Salary: £37,697.84 - £41,835.47 (pro rata 35 hours) + 6% pension

You will lead, manage and support staff delivering adult and young people services and actively support the development of the organisation, its funding streams, Strategic direction and all aspects of operational delivery. As the Director of Operational and Strategic Development you  will be required to deputise for the CEO at external and internal meetings. Lead on the development and implementation of Shantona’s strategic plan in alignment with its mission and goals.

Ensuring the delivery of all projects within Shantona are of a high standard, including robust Safeguarding culture and systems and service delivery meet their targets and deliver quality outcomes for service users.

MIND in Haringey and its partner Public Voice deliver the Haringey Community Collaborative, providing strategic leadership and capacity building for the borough’s Voluntary and Community Sector (VCS). MIND in Haringey and Public Voice are ambitious, committed and passionate in their support of the VCS, and the social impact that it collectively delivers for residents and communities every day.

The Haringey Community Collaborative service involves providing Haringey VCS:

The Haringey Community Collaborative team is located across and employed by either Public Voice and MIND in Haringey. This role works alongside a manager for Haringey’s digital community of practice platform, NavNet; and a communications lead for the Community Collaborative. About You

A confident public speaker with strong presenting skills with the ability to present to a wide range of diverse community groups. Able to engage with people and have a good understanding of co-production.

Able to carry out research and find suitable funding opportunities supporting VCS to write bids and method statements. Designing and delivering workshops on various topics that will support the local VCS in Haringey based on their needs.

Beyond Support – Women’s Telephone Support Worker – Southampton

Beyond the Streets is a small charity with a big determination to see routes out for women selling sex in the UK.  Our ‘Direct Work’ is central to the organisation, and due to an increase in service demand we are looking to increase our staff team by recruiting a Women’s Telephone Support Worker.

Working as part of a small team in our office in Southampton, you will be responsible for providing regular telephone support to a caseload of women.  Within this, you will be often the first point of support for women involved in the sex industry, offering a listening ear for them to process some of their feelings and experiences within this space and providing emotional support; as well as providing more practical assistance to overcome the barriers they face in accessing support.  This could be through advocating with external agencies e.g., mental health, housing, problematic substance use, homelessness, poverty, domestic abuse, sexual violence, the criminal justice system; and to make positive steps forward with their lives.

Carers Voice Norfolk & Waveney is a user-led charity providing the independent voice of Carers in the way their services are designed, developed and delivered. Its vision is to ensure that unpaid Carers throughout Norfolk & Waveney are valued, recognised, and supported with equal access to a good quality of life that is not prejudiced by their caring role.

Carers Voice Norfolk & Waveney facilitates a countywide strategic partnership group and five locality network groups, all of which meet quarterly. Carers Voice Norfolk & Waveney works in partnership with the Norfolk and Waveney Integrated Care Board which provides the health and social care for Norfolk and Waveney together with statutory and voluntary organisations. We work closely with Norfolk County Council and the commissioned countywide support service for Carers, Carers Matter Norfolk.

Coproduction is central to everything we do at Carers Voice. Carers are ‘experts’ through their lived experience and Carers Voice works to ensure Carers are able to influence change regarding the services, policies and decisions that affect them and the people they care for. Coproduction is an equal relationship between people who use services and people responsible for services. Decision making is shared in planning, design, delivery and monitoring.

The role will be carried out mainly in weekday office hours and can be flexible to suit the right person. Very occasional evening and weekend work will be required. The role will predominantly involve working from home. Equipment such as mobile phone and laptop, will be supplied. Main purpose of the role:

We are looking for a Meetings Co-ordinator to join our team.

Are you a great communicator, with first-class organisational skills, and experience of co-ordinating meetings?

Do you have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport, empathise and build trust with Carers from diverse backgrounds.

The Meetings Co-ordinator will lead the co-ordination and development of the five Local Carer Involvement Meetings and be responsible for facilitating/ chairing these meetings.  These meetings are an opportunity for Carers to share their experiences and to come together with practitioners to co-produce solutions to gaps in support. The role involves supporting a network of unpaid Carers in Norfolk & Waveney. You will be helping Carers to have a say on issues that matter to them; strengthening the ‘Carers Voice.’ You will play a key role in outreach, engagement and advocacy, to ensure that Carers Voices are heard.

Main Relationships:

The role will maintain effective connections with: Carers and Past Carers (individuals and groups), Co-production & Project Officer, Membership & Administration Officer, Adult Social Services Operational Business Lead and integrated health and care practitioners, service providers and user-led groups and VCSE organisations and statutory bodies such as Healthwatch Norfolk.

Tasks:

1. Networks / Community Development

1. Lead (operationally) the coordination and development of five Local Carer Involvement Meetings to give Carers a space to share their voice in the design, delivery and evaluation of services and support which affect them, ensuring Carers feel heard and supported.

2. Chair the five Local Carer Involvement Meetings quarterly, providing organisational and facilitation support, including aspects of administration (setting and distributing notes, agendas and documentation and taking forward and reporting back on actions). Minute taking will be provided by another member of staff whenever possible.

3. Develop the membership of Locality Networks to ensure good representation from Carers, Carer peer support groups, practitioners, service managers and commissioners.

4. Building networks between local services and Carers. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, social services agencies, and community organisations.

5.  Provide a quarterly report on the Local Carer Involvement Meetings to the County Wide Partnership Board and wider Integrated Care System

Their experience means they are linked in and familiar with services for Carers across the County.
