What you’ll be doing …
The main purpose of this role is to provide customer facing support for the sales and marketing team. Customers will be internal and external and include but are not limited to: institutional and corporate librarians and information professionals, 3rd party sellers, authors, editors, book purchasers, representatives and agents globally.

- Support the sales team in managing agreements and licenses

Key accountabilities …
Sales and customer service:
- Offer support for customer queries on pricing, renewals negotiations and Rights Retention
- Support institutional renewal reminders processes
- Work with partners (PLS/CCC & others) to provide metadata to ensure all products are included in relevant databases quarterly
- Download reports as required from 3rd party sellers
- Work with 3rd party partners to enable member access to subscribed content
- Maintain a list of article pay-per-view (PPV) pricing and review twice yearly to maximise income
- Payment of royalties with the Sales and Customer Services Manager
- Create and upload MARC/Kbart files to website for libraries
- Quarterly subscription comparison
- Updating member email addresses in Lyell (from lists provided by database manager)
- Product updates on the online bookshop
Marketing:
- Marketing support and data entry for leads and opportunities
- Provide promotional questionnaires to authors/editors
- Creation of Advance Information / New business info sheets/Book order forms
- Creation of ‘most read reports’ to authors – monthly/quarterly
- Geographical content for reps/agents
- Adestra: regular data upload into Adestra from the online manuscript submission system and reporting
- Newsletter creation:
- New title alert newsletters
- Online bookshop sale newsletter
- Online bookshop sale: adding books and removing tags
General:
- Collaborate with colleagues at the Publishing House to share and maximise opportunities
- Develop an understanding of the sales processing for institutional subscriptions and book sales
- Contribute to streamlined sales processes resulting from new CRM/website developments

The Role
Reporting to the Research Grants Manager, as Research Administration Assistant, you will provide administration support for the Research, Services and Policy Team to ensure that Yorkshire Cancer Research supports high quality research and services that directly impacts the people of Yorkshire. This includes supporting the Award funding rounds, managing ongoing Awards, co-ordinating workshops to support wider initiatives and maintaining accurate records.
Specifically, you will:
· Work with the wider Research Funding Team to provide administration support for all phases of the research funding process to ensure we fund high quality and impactful research.
· Provide support during the application, review, outcome and award processes.
· Support preparations for funding meetings, including booking rooms, sending invites, preparing papers and maintaining documents and logs.
· Foster good relationships with applicants, keeping them informed of further requests for information and changes as they occur.
· Act as the first point of contact for potential and current Research Advisory Panel (RAP) members.
· Provide administrative support on recruitment, selection, induction, support and training, involvement in the funding rounds, and renewal and retirement from the panel.
· Provide administrative support for a portfolio of research Awards, and where required, service Awards.
· Work across the Research and Services team to deliver successful meetings and workshops with external partners to support research funding initiatives and Patient and Public involvement (PPI).
About You
To be considered for this role, you will need:
· To be educated to A-level or equivalent, or have experience of working in a similar position at a similar level.
· To have a high level of attention to detail, particularly in respect to maintenance of records.
· To have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· To be able to engage with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.

The Administrative Assistant plays a crucial role in our client's day-to-day operations, providing essential support to the Casework and Governance teams. Summary
The Secretariat team supports the Chief Executive and Estates Commissioners in their leadership and the conduct of the Church Commissioners' business. The Senior EA provides comprehensive and wide-ranging executive assistance and research/ policy support to the Chief Executive and First Church Estates Commissioner in all aspects of their work, as well as acting as an interface between the and the wider Church/ public. The Finance Team at Alzheimer’s Research UK is responsible for maintaining the financial records of the Charity and providing timely and accurate financial information. The team is responsible for ensuring there is a strong financial control environment, and for providing support and advice on all finance matters to employees across the charity.
This role combines daily tasks, which require attention to detail to accurately record data and maintain records, along with a broader responsibility for employee expense claims which requires a proactive approach and initiative in resolving issues and helping others around the organisation.
This role requires excellent focus, time management and prioritisation as it involves daily, weekly, and monthly tasks which must be carried out methodically in accordance with documented procedures, and which may vary in complexity depending on queries and requests received. It requires organisation over workloads, providing the ability to help others in the team as needed.

Main duties and responsibilities of the role:
· Answering the Finance Team telephone line.
· Managing the Finance Team shared inbox, dealing with basic queries, and passing other queries to the appropriate colleague.
· Assisting in the maintenance of corporate credit card records, including applications for new credit cards, removal of cards for leavers and changing credit limits.
· Maintenance and administration of Webexpenses including the creation of new employees, removal of leavers and changes to the costing structures, approval paths and limits. · Sending non-cheque vouchers to the relevant agencies.
· Year end audit assistance, collating documents such as invoices, cheques, or bank statements for auditors.
