The Role

Hours: Full-time and part-time hours available

Shift Pattern: Covering Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm

P3 is excited to launch a new service in Rotherham supporting single people and families in temporary accommodation.

We require compassionate and patient Support Workers who are dedicated to making a meaningful difference in these people's lives.

In this role, you will provide essential support, guidance, and encouragement to the people we work alongside. Key responsibilities include liaising with external agencies, creating support plans, and ensuring the physical and emotional well-being of the people we work alongside.

Applicants must possess a sound understanding of the issues faced by people experiencing homelessness and the ability to advocate on their behalf. Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not mandatory, as comprehensive training will be provided.

We are currently looking for a Parent/Family worker, to join our dynamic, ambitious team.

A key part of this role will be your ability to ensure that you support families and carers whose children are going missing, or coming home late. You will ensure parents/carers and young people have a greater understanding of missing, exploitation and are supported to effectively safeguard their child/ren.

This work will involve complex multi-agency safeguarding, safety planning with families, socio-educative work with parents/carers, trauma-informed practice and advocacy.

About the Role

This role offers an exciting opportunity to join our Bedford Mental Health Prevention service for adults which aims to improve people’s mental wellbeing, raise aspirations and enhance confidence.

As Service Coordinator you will be responsible for implementing working recovery models and coordinating the operational plans for the service to ensure that people are able to manage their mental health, move through their recovery journeys and achieve positive outcomes.

Along with coordinating service delivery to meet its aims, objectives and Key Performance Indicators, you will also line manage the service Recovery Workers and lead on recruitment, onboarding and management of volunteers in the service.

Additionally you will conduct assessments of individual’s suitability for the service, leading on more complex cases and guiding people through the range of available interventions that can support them to achieve the outcomes that matter to them.

Person Specification - Qualifications and Skills

-JNC Professionally qualified Youth Worker with Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field (e.g., social work, youth development, education) or equivalent practical experience.

Islington Centre for Refugees and Migrants is seeking a committed and motivated Head of Fundraising and Communications. Do you want to help refugees and asylum seekers in London? About the role: 

The successful applicant will work alongside our Trustees, our CEO and our existing Head of Fundraising and Communications in a jobshare to meet challenging fundraising targets. You will be joining us at an exciting time of development, as we open at our third site in Islington, welcome new members of staff to our team and begin work on a new strategy for 2025-2028. We have a strong track record of grant fundraising and seek someone who can support us to diversify our income, develop a fundraising strategy with a variety of income streams and bring experience and ideas to raise our profile. As Team Administrator for the Children and Young People’s Engagement Team, you will be responsible for providing vital administrative support to a dynamic team working with children, young people and parents all over the UK.

The Team Administrator will provide administrative or logistical support to different team projects, working groups, committees, events or activities. This will also include supporting the finance functions for the Team and managing purchase orders, invoices and expenses and supporting the project teams by drafting and preparing documents. In addition you will ensure all phone and email queries are answered, using clinical experts and team colleagues for advice if necessary.

You will also be responsible for planning, coordinating and communicating online/face to face project or programme meetings and activities with the support of the project managers, coordinator and youth voice advisors.

Reporting to the Head of Children, Young People & Engagement, this is a varied role in which you will have the opportunity to support the work of different engagement projects through assisting and disseminating project reports, joining sessions with children and young people across the year, and the managing of project materials.

Educated to a good standard you should have extensive administrative experience or skills and have well-developed experience and knowledge of Microsoft applications along with proven proof reading and minute taking abilities.

With demonstrable interpersonal, communication and organisational skills, you should have the ability to coordinate several projects concurrently whilst having excellent report writing skills, being able to present information in a fluent and persuasive manner to people at a range of levels.

Experience of problem solving, identifying solutions and setting up new systems or mitigations in relation to complex and dynamic administrative activities is essential.

Knowledge of website maintenance and social media experience would be desirable, as would a background of working in direct delivery teams, supporting those who work with children and young people.

The Administrator role offers the opportunity to work closely with those in the field of child and youth engagement, youth volunteering and children’s rights. In this role you will start to gain knowledge of children’s rights and what matters to children and young people within child health by actively participating in the Children and Young People’s Engagement Team’s programme of activities, helping us achieve our aims.

There will be occasional evening and weekend sessions/events throughout the year where you will also be required to attend to support the event.

The Children and Young People’s Engagement Team undertakes a varied programme of work in supporting under 25s, parents and carers to get actively involved in the work of RCPCH, using youth work and social action approaches.

The Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health sets and maintains standards for the education and training of all doctors working in paediatrics and child health in the UK. We advocate on child health issues at home and internationally. Additionally, through a variety of activities, the College influences the quality of medical practice for children in hospital and in the community.

Job Summary

The Project Assistant and Communications Lead will support projects aimed at advancing social justice and improving the lives of marginalised communities. This role involves facilitating project activities, managing communications, and providing high-level administrative support to further our mission of creating positive social change. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong collaborative skills, work independently, take initiative, and effectively support team members and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Assistance:

• Provide comprehensive administrative and organisational support for project teams working on social justice initiatives such as community led ownership of land, building & spaces, cultural projects, project design and campaigns.

• Manage project schedules, calendars, and coordinate meetings

• Prepare and distribute project-related documents, reports, and presentations

• Handle project correspondence and respond to enquiries from stakeholders

• Assist with the maintenance of project files and documentation

• Independently coordinate and support grassroots activities, including community outreach and stakeholder engagement.

• Take initiative in supporting the planning, execution, and evaluation of events that amplify the voices of marginalised communities

• Autonomously support the co-design  and implementation of projects that address systemic inequalities

• Facilitate collaboration with community partners and stakeholders to ensure projects meet the needs of those we serve

Communications:

• Manage calendars, communication and 

• Support the development, implementation, and evaluation of communication strategies that effectively convey our social justice mission

• Independently create and manage the production of compelling content that highlights the experiences and stories of marginalised communities

• Effectively manage and grow social media channels to engage supporters and raise awareness about social justice issues

• Oversee the production of accessible and inclusive communications materials for diverse audiences with minimal supervision

• Support the organisation and promotion of community events, workshops, and advocacy campaigns

As part of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), the Head of People and Culture will contribute to shaping the wider organisational strategy, leading initiatives that promote team well-being, support individual growth, and foster a high-performance culture that is aligned with Tudor Trust's behaviours of collaboration, integrity, bravery, creativity, inquisitiveness, humility, and compassion. 

You will work closely and in collaboration with the Head of Finance and Head of Programmes (yet to be appointed) with a shared responsibility for delivering projects.
