Partnership Lead
Job Purpose
The Partnership Lead will play a key role in operationalising and overseeing the support for approximately 34 school hubs across England, contributing to local school improvement. They will also take the lead in operationalising the renewal of all schools across the Challenge Partners network.
Schools within Challenge Partners subscribe annually and join forces in local hubs, spanning England from Cornwall to County Durham. The hub works together over the course of the academic year pulling together a Hub Action Plan, which aims to tackle collectively agreed priorities using funding from Challenge Partners. Challenge Partners hubs provide the local element of our collaborative partnership.
The Partnership Lead will build and manage relationships with a wide range of stakeholders and hold responsibility for ensuring all hubs have everything they need to provide an excellent experience to schools. They will also support the renewal of all schools, through leading excellent Customer Care practices and operationalising the annual retention campaign, working with the Partnership Development Manager. They will work closely with the Partnership Experience Manager and the team of Partnership Coordinators to ensure excellent delivery.
Established in 2011, Challenge Partners is a well-respected nationwide network of practitioners who engage in hard-edged collaboration and mutual accountability to ensure every school community can benefit from the combined wisdom of the education system.
Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the Partnership Experience Manager, the Partnership Lead will have the following key areas of responsibility and will be expected to undertake other responsibilities commensurate with the role as requested:
Partnership Delivery and Development
Individual Partnership Delivery and Development responsibilities:

Implement the annual cycle of hub work, including planning and implementing key partnership correspondence, activities and events.

Support up to five hubs of their own, working closely with internal teams to ensure a high-quality experience for schools across all selected Challenge Partners activities.

Lead the renewals campaign for all schools across the partnership, proactively escalating any renewal concerns, and monitoring and reporting renewals data.

Oversee the monitoring of the Partnership inbox, ensuring all queries are dealt with by a member of the team promptly and effectively.

Manage the Partnership budget; monitoring spending and signing off invoices within agreed budgets, including hub funding.

Lead on ensuring an excellent experience for schools in Challenge Partners. This includes, but is not limited to, monitoring risks and mitigating/escalating as appropriate, and leading on Customer Care and Pricing Governance issues.

Support the Partnership Experience Manager to deliver improvements to the quality of our hubs, ensuring all schools are getting excellent value. This includes, but is not limited to the engagement of new technologies, processes and ways of working.

Lead on the implementation of new strategies for delivery in your areas of responsibility with Partnership Coordinator support.
Support all hub owners through matrix working to:

Embed excellent account management, delivering outstanding support for our partner schools, multi-academy trusts and hubs.

Maintain highly effective stakeholder relationships with Headteachers, trust CEOs, Senior Partners and Hub Managers.

Induct new schools and hubs, making sure that all are appropriately onboarded to Challenge Partners.

Implement Customer Care work, ensuring that all members of the team are able to monitor Customer Care cases and identify solutions.

Deliver growth and renewals work, enabling schools and trusts to renew their subscription with Challenge Partners.
Data Management and Systems

Ensure school data is accurately recorded on Salesforce (our CRM system) and work closely with the Data and Systems Lead to improve systems and processes.

Monitor and report renewals data to inform renewals progress, predictions and strategy.

Implementation of annual partnership evaluation work with the support of the Partnership Experience Manager.
Event Planning, Organisation and Monitoring

Lead on the planning, logistics and delivery of an annual National Induction event for all new and rejoining schools, working with the Partnership Experience Manager and Leadership Team to agree event design.

Liaise with speakers, venues and suppliers to ensure high quality delivery of the National Induction.

Coordinate the team effectively to ensure excellent event delivery.

Work closely with the marketing team to create a social media plan to showcase the National Induction.

Monitor event quality and delivery, including dealing with and escalating issues to ensure positive solutions are reached.
Line Management

Provide high-quality and consistent line management for up to two Partnership Coordinators, including regular one-to-one meetings and performance reviews.

Identify opportunities for personal and professional development for direct reports.

Provide accountability and support to direct reports to ensure excellent delivery across all Challenge Partners’ activities and meet key organisational priorities.
Matrix Management
At Challenge Partners, we work in a matrix structure which means that individuals collaborate across different work streams and are, at times, task managed by colleagues who are not their direct line manager

Provide consistent and high quality task management to all Partnership Coordinators supporting activities related to hubs and cultivating relationships with all hub owners.

Provide consistent and high quality task management to all colleagues involved in school renewals. This includes upwards management of Managers and Leadership Team.

Collaborate effectively with other line managers and teams to support Partnership Coordinators to provide excellent delivery across all Challenge Partners activities and meet key organisational priorities.

An overview of the opportunity
Reporting to the Head of Talent and Leadership Development, we are looking for a customer-focused, organised, forward thinking and creative Programme Manager to join us and drive our mission of cross-sector collaboration.
WIG was founded on secondments, and as such, they continue to play a hugely important role in our vision for a country where leaders collaborate for the common good. As leaders second in and out of organisation's, so too does knowledge sharing and porosity which enables strong decision making and improved collaboration. This is an exciting time to join the Talent and Leadership team and play an integral role in providing a first-class, customer-centric experience to WIG’s members.
You will be responsible for managing the Charity Next Secondment Programme ( a collaborative partnership between the Civil Service Fast Stream and Charities, Not for Profit's and Academia) working collaboratively to maximise secondment engagement between the sectors. You will also manage inwards secondments to member organisations as well as working on and developing new concepts, programmes and solutions to maximise porosity and knowledge sharing. You will work closely with other departments and the wider team to develop and increase both the volume and impact of secondment initiatives. You will do this by leveraging your data-driven and research approach as well as evidencing your strong relationship and stakeholder development skills.
What we’re looking for:
- Prior experience as a programme manager, project manager or similar, client-facing role with a demonstrable track record of excellent customer service.
- Prior experience in internal and external stakeholder management and proven ability to build rapport and liaise with senior stakeholders.
- Demonstrable experience in delivering successful and effective business development strategies - with strong outcomes.
- A successful track record of using CRM systems (a plus if it's Dynamics!), Microsoft Forms, and other software applications to help aid decision making, keep on track of KPIs and to ensure strong project management and outcomes.
- Demonstrable aptitude in managing administration and processes including the signing of secondment agreements, onboarding meetings, feedback cycles and regular communication strategies.
- Demonstrable history of meeting deadlines and the ability to oversee several different projects simultaneously.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a successful track record of building rapport and liaising with senior stakeholders.
- Exceptional organisational skills and impeccable attention to detail.
- Whilst not mandatory, it would be a huge plus if you displayed an interest in current affairs, contributing to a well-rounded and informed professional perspective.
- Prior experience of working to budgets, KPIs and forecasted elements of work.
- Strong teamwork - picking up other elements of work as required from the Talent & Leadership team as well as other interdepartmental bodies.
- A strong self-driven attitude and results orientated attitude - having a positive outlook and a clear focus on high quality output, ability to solve problems and work calmly under pressure.
- Prior experience of operating in the leadership, talent experience would be desirable but is not essential.

What do some of the main role responsibilities look like?

MAP’s Mission
Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP) works for the health and dignity of Palestinians living under occupation and as refugees. MAP is the leading UK charity delivering health and medical care to those worst affected by conflict, occupation, and displacement in the occupied Palestinian territory and Palestinian refugee camps in Lebanon.
Job Purpose
MAP is in a period of ambitious growth and rapid development, as we respond to the massive humanitarian crisis in Gaza, and in the West Bank and Lebanon. The role of the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) is to provide leadership, drive and direction in the development and delivery of MAP’s new strategic ambition, maximising the charity’s sustainable impact.
This is a key role for MAP, and it is expected that the job holder would be making a long-term commitment to the organisation. The post-holder will be tasked with leading MAP to deliver on the strategic ambition of becoming a high impact, global £50 M+ income organisation which enables over 1 million Palestinians to access improved healthcare annually by 2028. MAP’s income in 2023 was £35 M and the forecast for 2024 is £47 M.
Duties and Key Responsibilities
Vision and leadership
- Provide vision, leadership, direction and drive to achieve MAP’s strategic ambition and mission.
- Drive forward organisational transformation, together with the Senior Management Team, always remaining true to MAP’s values and focus on being locally led.
- Ensure that the Board of Trustees and its appointed committees are supported in their responsibility to ensure robust governance of MAP and provide advice and information to the Trustees regarding organisational performance and direction.
- Ensure that the organisation embeds a focus on impact and the use of data in decision-making, course corrected as necessary during its development.

Person Specification
Experience
- Experienced leader in the non-profit sector or public sector in a relevant field, preferably with experience of international development and work in complex, protracted emergencies.
- Track record of driving organisational change and delivering clear results.
- Experience implementing strategies and using data to inform decision-making.
- Experience of working with a Board and a good understanding of charity governance.
- Working at the Executive Director level or equivalent as part of the senior management team within a complex organisation with geographical spread.
- Evidence of understanding the needs of Palestinian communities living under occupation and as refugees.
- Evidence of understanding the complex political and diplomatic landscape charities working with Palestinians operate in.
- A clear understanding of the importance of shifting the balance of power and influence for disadvantaged groups and empowering marginalised communities.
- Line management of senior staff, preferably including management of staff at remote locations, and experience managing a diverse workforce.
- Track record of leading and representing organisations with multiple stakeholders and relationships and of building strong relationships of trust with partners and allies.
- Experience in managing programmes and substantial budgets and resources.
- Experience communicating and influencing effectively with external audiences to influence outcomes such as government, parliament, donors and the media.
- Working in the international sector preferably in the Middle East and/or working in conflict settings.

The Head of Fundraising is an exciting new role developed for the Society to increase fundraising and develop additional income streams to enhance the sustainability of the Society. The ideal candidate will have a passion for supporter care and ideally have prior experience in a donor support role or experience in customer service, administration as well as data entry. You will be looking for 37.5 hours a week and have the ability to work flexibly including some evenings and weekends to support at our charity or donor events.
Main duties of the job
This is an integral role which aspires to give our supporters the best possible experience on their fundraising journey with the aim of building long term relationships. The role will take a lead on Supporter Care with all donors for the charity team, acting as a helpful and knowledgeable “front-line face” for patients, families, staff and volunteers.
Key duties:
- Manage the start and end of the stewardship journey for all donors and fundraisers by dealing with all enquiries through email, post or phone or face to face at the office ensuring that we meet the best standards of donor care
- Manage post and charity office filing system and the banking and thanking process
- Maintain relationships through regular contact with donors throughout their fundraising journey offering any support or guidance needed to maximise their giving
- Act as a dynamic presence, leading and recruiting volunteers, community groups and small companies to organise fundraisers for our charity
- Build fantastic connections with patients, NHS staff, volunteers and our wider community to recruit new donors, fundraisers, volunteers and charity champions
- Support in growing the number of supporters playing the hospital lottery and those giving through our hospital ‘giving plaques
- Support all fundraising activity and represent the charity at events
- Manage and maintain the CRM system (donorfy) which includes entering all donor data including financial transactions and communications
- Send updates to supporters to retain and increase life-time value and reactivate lapsed donors
- Send donation reports to the charity team
- Make suggestions on how to improve supporter care and implement these ideas
- To recruit and manage office based volunteers

HUB TEAM ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
OASIS HUB BATH
PART TIME, 16 HOURS PER WEEK (0.4 FTE)
6 MONTH FIXED TERM CONTRACT (January 2025 – June 2025) with a view to extend dependent on funding
SALARY: £10,011 per annum (£25,029 pro rata for 1 FTE)
We have an exciting opportunity for a Hub Administrative Assistant to work alongside our Hub Team Administrator for a fixed-term, from January 2025 until June 2025. This role will support our Community Work Manager with the administration necessary to deliver our community work. This currently includes two food pantry sessions a week, and a combined pop-up pantry and Living Room (warm space) session each week.
Key responsibilities of this role will be:
· To process applications to hub projects and manage communication with project members.
· To co-ordinate volunteer communications.
· To create and manage volunteer rotas.
· To ensure team leaders have all relevant information for each session.
· To ensure data is populated and managed accurately, and according to GDPR requirements.
The successful post holder must have:
· Excellent administration skills and attention to detail.
· Proven people skills and experience in relation to community work or the charity sector.
· Able to liaise with staff and volunteers from external organisations at all levels.
