Bonsucro is the global sustainability platform and standard for sugarcane. Our purpose is to collectively accelerate the sustainable production and uses of sugarcane. We work with people and organisations across the sugarcane supply chain, including small scale farmers and some of the world’s biggest brands.

We are looking for someone with a good range of experience and a passion for communications. You are versatile and highly organised and comfortable working in a busy environment with multiple concurrent tasks, deadlines and activities. Ideally, you will be a confident writer, able to understand technical information and translate it into accurate and engaging copy for multiple platforms. Most importantly, you will be excited to learn about Bonsucro’s work and contribute to engaging our stakeholders through effective communications.

Key responsibilities

Content, channels and events

• Produce well-written engaging copy, distilling complex technical material into easily digestible articles, blogs and other content pieces for a range of audiences
• Organise, schedule and create high quality targeted content across multiple channels (web, email/newsletters, social media and videos) and for a range of digital campaigns
• Commission consultants to provide content, proofread and edit material for publication
• Maintain and update our website, including working with an external web agency to resolve issues or address more complex requests
• Oversee Bonsucro’s internal communications related to the activities and operations of the communications team, to ensure that relevant information is shared across the organisation
• Support development of events programme and write website content for webinars and in-person events
• Draft and design event marketing material and liaise with sponsors

• Act as guardian of the Bonsucro brand, supporting colleagues in producing high quality communications within brand guidelines
• On a monthly basis, collect, organise and share data on the performance of our communications activities and outputs against pre-agreed metrics
• Manage and update communications asset library, such as photographs, presentation decks, member logos and reports so that staff can easily access the resources they need

Essential criteria

• Significant experience in communications and social media activities in a professional environment
• Excellent written and spoken English language skills
• Proven copywriting ability with a track record of taking complex or technical topics and making them accessible to a range of audiences
• Proficient with and prior use of graphic design software (e.g. Adobe, Canva), IT-based and web systems (Wordpress, Mailchimp and Salesforce )

This role provides vital administrative and operational support across the Learning department. It plays a key role in supporting efficient planning and delivery of live and digital events. The post is a member of the Learning Operations team who leads on all logistics, systems, policies and compliance relating to the Learning programme and act as a conduit for communications and productive working practices with all other NT departments. About the role

The Hardman Trust supports people on long prison sentences to take their next steps in life. As the programme & volunteer coordinator your role is to help make this a reality through the coordination of programmes in line with our business plan, and overseeing the recruitment, onboarding and support of our volunteers. 

Your role is designed to flex to coordinate existing or new programmes as the needs of our organisation and its users evolve. In its first year, your role will be to coordinate our Penfriends letter writing programme and our grants programme. About the opportunity

Critical to our mission, we are looking to recruit a South West and South East Programme Manager to be responsible for three geographical areas and the schools within them, and to support further geographical expansion. You will oversee your region’s Action Tutoring programmes, liaising with our partner schools and developing new school partnerships, whilst supporting your team of Programme Coordinators to engage pupils and support them to build relationships and retain a strong pool of volunteer tutors.
As a Programme Manager, you will line manage Programme Coordinators to ensure they effectively manage their caseload of schools, whilst driving the quality of programmes and ensuring that the delivery of programmes meets organisational KPIs. This role will take a lead on new school recruitment, regularly pitching to Senior Leaders within schools and managing school partnerships within your region to ensure Action Tutoring’s growth targets are met. Additionally, you will contribute to the wider leadership of the Action Tutoring programme team, lead on programme-specific projects to support the programme department's priorities and will be expected to support the wider learning and development needs of the Programme Coordinator team. 
This position would suit someone who enjoys working with people who have a frontline role, gets energy from pitching to schools and wants to increase their management experience in an exciting and rapidly developing charity. The successful candidate should be able to manage their own workload to a high standard as well as support others, have excellent attention to detail, be adaptable, relational and used to problem-solving and be able to work well with a range of stakeholders and be confident carrying out administrative tasks to support programme delivery.

·Ensuring that the Programme Coordinator team accurately collects and records vital data for impact reporting purposes, through confident use of Action Tutoring’s database, processes and systems.

· Lead on reviewing and improving programme delivery in the South West and South East through regular visits to schools and programmes. Using data to reliably assess programme performance and engaging with quality assurance processes to drive impact.

· Develop and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders in Action Tutoring’s partner schools in the South West and South East, including members of the Senior Leadership Team, ensuring strong retention of school partnerships each academic year.
· Take a lead, with support from others in Action Tutoring, on networking in the South West and South East. This could include connecting and attending events with other charities, universities and other organisations to build Action Tutoring’s presence locally.

· Work closely with the Marketing, Communication and Engagement teams to establish and maintain volunteer recruitment opportunities and channels in the South West and South East.

· Develop strategies, meet with new leads and attend events to ensure a sufficient supply of high- quality tutors for your region, effectively managing your tutor pool and signing tutors up to programmes.

We're looking for a new Volunteer-Led Services Manager to lead our transport and befriending services as well as helping us to grow our team of volunteers across the whole organisation.

Events Assistant

Full time - Permanent

London - Lincoln’s Inn Fields WC2A (Hybrid working or full time in office)

The role:

We are looking for an organised and enthusiastic team player to deliver high quality support to the Events Manager in the planning and delivery of a range of onsite and online meetings, events and courses.  This will necessitate maintaining effective administration systems and working with databases, websites and social media.

Reporting to the Events Manager, the Events Assistant will provide administrative and event delivery support for events in the planning of physical and/or virtual meetings, events and courses. This will include general support tasks pre-event, onsite and post-event including sourcing and liaising with venues, producing event marketing and communications and coordinating event material.  The postholder will join our Events Manager and Events Assistant – bringing the Events Team to three people.

This role requires exceptional organisational skills, a meticulous eye for accuracy, high levels of customer service and the ability to deliver multiple projects in a timely manner.  Also essential is a flexible, ‘hands-on’ approach and a willingness to help out in all areas of the Association potentially including attending and assisting at events which will require overnight stays at locations throughout the UK.

We are offering a unique and exciting opportunity to join in the work of the Connexional Property Support team and the wider Methodist Church in delivering its strategic plan to make the best use of its buildings for mission in local communities across the country.

Working alongside the Director and colleagues within the team, you will be helping to provide the essential support and guidance the team offers to Trustees, Ministers, Connexional colleagues and the wider church.

Your role will be varied, including supporting colleagues in their specific areas of work and expertise - from listed buildings to net zero initiatives.  You will also lead on engagement with Trustees and alike who are seeking advice and guidance in relation to a variety of property resource needs.  This could be through the provision of proactive support of and input into, relevant forms of guidance, communications and funding, community engagement, training and good practice.

Alongside this, you will lead on the communications and resourcing to the District Property Officer network and other relevant networks, across the Connexion.

You will also support the Director in the administration of property related grants.

About You

We are looking for someone who wants to make a positive contribution to the work of the Property Support team and be equally comfortable collaborating in a team environment or under your own initiative.  You will have experience supporting a senior team, and preferably have property or project management experience, although this is not essential.

As the role will underpin and contribute to supporting the team’s work with external colleagues, particularly the District Property Officer network, it is essential that you are comfortable in engaging with a range of stakeholders, and have excellent organisational skills, particularly in terms of resourcing and training.

The role will be very collaborative with team colleagues, and therefore experience and ability to plan, research and assimilate new information alongside the analysis and delivery of projects will be an essential quality.

Bipolar UK is the only national charity dedicated to empowering individuals and families affected by bipolar. Peer support is at the core of our work. We empower approximately 1,000 people a month to stay well - and we have the ambition to reach thousands more.

Bipolar does not discriminate on the grounds of sex, gender, age, ethnicity, race or background, consequently it affects everyone, and we estimate that one million people in the UK live with the condition many of whom remain undiagnosed, that's 1 in 50.  The condition also increases the risk of suicide by 20 times.  Bipolar impacts on relationships, missed milestones for young people with their peers, education, economic stability and employment, and creates social and economic problems and debt for those affected through symptomatic overspending.  Therefore, Bipolar UK are working hard to improve diagnosis times and support pathways to enable individuals affected by the condition to live well and fulfil their potential. At the heart of this is our peer support enabling our community to access tools and support to manage their condition.

About the role:

Bipolar UK is delighted to have this post funded through a new grant and we are seeking to recruit a Senior Peer Support Officer to work 3-days per week.

We are looking for an experienced person who is familiar with peer support and lived experience models to support and engage members of our London community who are affected by bipolar from a range of backgrounds.

Your role will include managing volunteers, increasing engagement in local existing support groups and developing new ones.  Working with our self-management trainers to run psycho-education courses.  The role will require you to work across London both online via Teams and Zoom and in-person.

This new post is an exciting addition to our team as we are seeking to increase awareness across racialised and minoritised communities and improve access to peer support for people affected by bipolar commencing with a new steering group.

Are you considering entering a career in law, having a strong passion for social justice? We are recruiting a Legal Assistant to provide administrative and legal support to PILC’s Gypsy and Traveller Legal Advice project which aims to defend and promote the rights of gypsies and travellers to pursue a nomadic way of life. You will assist our Supervising Solicitor, an expert in gypsy and traveller law, who has represented this underprivileged community over the last 15 years. As well as working on client files, you will liaise with the Legal Aid Agency to ensure their cases receive public funding, making sure documentation is prepared for court hearings, and arranging for experts and other participants to take part in proceedings.  

Ideally you will be available to join us from the beginning of September to benefit from a full introduction by the incumbent.
