An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Advanced Practitioner Assistive Technology, Band 7 to join our Assistive Technology Team. This role will require the successful candidate to provide a high quality, evidence based assistive technology service, promoting participation, communication and interaction for children and young people accessing The Children’s Trust Therapy Services. Additionally, you will develop and deliver the service, in collaboration with multidisciplinary health, therapy and education teams.

Our service delivery aims to promote outcome focussed interventions, safe care, function, and participation, of children and young people accessing home, school, and community life. You will provide clinical leadership within the area of assistive technology, across the therapy service, ensuring the delivery of child and family focused goal led interventions at a highly specialist level, for children and young people accessing The Children’s Trust School and in-patient neurorehabilitation services.

Role Requirements

• Lead the provision of high quality, evidence based assistive technology interventions, for children and young people attending The Children’s Trust School and receiving in-patient neurorehabilitation.
• Provide clinical leadership to the Assistive Technology Team, identifying service priorities, service delivery methods and standards of practice.
• Provide assessments for complex augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems
• Identify service needs for AAC and selection of appropriate hardware, software, access, and mounting options, as per organisational policies and procedures.
• Understanding of mainstream technologies in specialist support, assistive technology, and computer access.
• Knowledge of environmental control and powered mobility.
• Lead in the design and implementation of communication and technology resources.
• Maintain and disseminate specialist knowledge of eye-gaze control and the use of eye-tracking, within clinical assessment and management.
• Develop therapy goals, plans and methods, in collaboration with the child and family/carers, as well as the Multidisciplinary and Education teams, founded upon evidence-based practice.
• Be an autonomous Practitioner, with responsibility and overview for Assistive Technology interventions, and maintaining relevant records and reports.
• Work closely with all members of the Multidisciplinary Team, as well as the child and family, to provide a fully integrated approach to the overall management of the child. This will include any home/school visits, professional child related meetings and/ or appointments, as required.
• Identify and utilise specialist assessments and relevant outcome measures, for children/young people receiving assistive technology interventions.
• Work flexibly across site as needed e.g. with the team in the Children’s Trust School
• Work flexibly in terms of hours, in order to meet the needs of the service, including an early evening (weekly) and one weekend day, per calendar month.
• Represent the Therapy Team and The Children’s Trust when appropriate, deputising for the Team as required.
• Undertake specialist assessments, externally responding to national and international requests.
• Act as the Lead Professional for complex case management and coordination, as and when required.
• Actively participate in, support and Chair relevant Multidisciplinary Team meetings, as and when required.
• Undertake other or additional duties that are within your skills and abilities, as the organisation may reasonably require from time to time.

With experience of working in a complex environment, across a large and diverse workforce, you will be exceptionally organised with a high-level of attention to detail. You will naturally possess excellent inter-personal skills, and an ability to consult and positively engage with key stakeholders across the organisation.

We are seeking a Therapeutic Practitioner to join our newly established Health Team. This specialist role will enhance our current provision and improve the quality and breadth of mental health support available to young people. The successful candidate will work within the Health Team, in collaboration with our partner organisation Camden & Islington Young People's Service, to deliver 1:1 emotional and practical support, assist in our drop-in service, and facilitate workshops for all young people experiencing homelessness.

You will specialise in helping young people improve their self-confidence while improving their understanding of difficult emotions such as anger. Additionally, you will focus on developing their thinking and practical skills, as well as coping and de-escalation strategies. Your work will aim to improve relationships among young people within the day centre, and continue to promote trauma informed working practices across New Horizon, so that all of our services are designed to address the psychological and emotional needs of young people who are unsafe or facing homelessness.

You will have the unique opportunity to contribute to the development of an important and innovative new role. You will be provided with your own theraputic support delivered by a highly experienced clinical psychologist and regular individual and group clinical supervision. The Role
We are currently looking to recruit an Office Manager to work to ensure the Healthcare Infection Society's back-office operations are effectively managed; this includes premises and facilities, information technology and general administration. Working closely with the CFO, you will process the Society's financial systems, overseeing the running of the Society's office property, involving health and safety, utilities, managing suppliers and troubleshooting and resolving any issues arising.

In addition to this, you will provide support to projects, managing events and update policies and other documents.

About the Charity

The Environment Investigation Agency investigate and campaign against environmental crime and abuse. Their undercover investigations expose transnational wildlife crime, with a focus on elephants and tigers, and forest crimes such as illegal logging and deforestation for cash crops like palm oil. The EIA work to safeguard global marine ecosystems by addressing the threats posed by plastic pollution, bycatch and commercial exploitation of whales, dolphins and porpoises. Finally, EIA aims to reduce the impact of climate change by campaigning to eliminate powerful refrigerant greenhouse gases, exposing related illicit trade and improving energy efficiency in the cooling sector.

About the Role

This is an exciting time to join EIA as the fundraising team grows. As the Philanthropy Manager, you will lead on the development and delivery of a new philanthropy programme, which includes developing tailored stewardship programmes for High Net Worth Individuals (HNWIs), expanding the donor base through effective prospecting and cultivation, and working with campaign teams to develop donor funding propositions. We are looking for a well-organised, highly motivated and passionate individual to join our team as a full-time Youth Worker (Youth Voice), supporting our mission to enable young people who are homeless, facing homelessness or unsafe to achieve independence and positive futures.
The successful candidate will work within the Youth Work Team to deliver our frontline drop-in service and support our weekly and monthly activities to all young people experiencing homelessness.
You’ll specialise in ensuring a diverse range of young people’s voices are heard, facilitating inclusive activities which increase youth participation across all our services and leading on the delivery of our youth forums. We have an ambitious plan to improve and accelerate our youth voice strategy and this role will be at the heart of this delivery.
You should be experienced in designing, planning and facilitating a range of activities and group work with and for young people and be able to work dynamically in a fast-paced day centre environment. We are looking for candidates who are passionate about youth engagement and skilled in bringing out the ideas, voices and opinions of young people to shape service delivery. We are particularly keen to hear from candidates with a background in running participatory youth projects, co-production, youth engagement sessions and/or community engagement.
The ideal candidate is a team player who enjoys working collaboratively across our organisation. This role also includes working closely with our Campaigns, Impact and Policy team to ensure young people’s voices are at the heart of our external campaigning work.
Finally, you will also be committed to the safeguarding of young people and delivering an inclusive and trauma-informed service.

This role will be based at our day centre in Camden, with some travel to other New Horizon projects within London.

Tempo Time Credits started 15 years ago and is an ambitious movement that empowers, encourages, and engages people from all walks of life, from communities across the UK, to get involved and volunteer. For example, befriending or helping to improve outdoor spaces. Volunteers earn Tempo Time Credits as part of a reward and recognition which can be exchanged for a range of services and activities provided by our local and national partners.

In these challenging times, community support is more crucial than ever. Tempo stands at the forefront having engaged with 40 commissioned programmes, collaborated with 1,500 charities, empowered over 15,000 volunteers, issued over 1 million Time Credits, cultivated 750+ business venues offering rewards, and pioneered the world's first national Time Credit network.

Funded by the Heritage Lottery the pathways to the past programme connects volunteers and communities in Neath Port Talbot to their heritage. As the Heritage Programme and Partnership Manager, you will play a pivotal role in cultivating relationships and opportunities across Neath Port Talbot.

Key responsibilities:

• Management contracts, staff and resources: You will ensure all programmes are delivered within budget, and you will oversee contracts and reporting, producing convincing reports that show impact and delivery of KPIs.
• Oversight of networks delivery and performance: You will oversee programme planning and network management. You'll map out community groups, service and business partners and set up project activities and events, including training and workshops for network partners and key partner staff.
• Stakeholder relationship management and reporting: You will develop and maintain positive relationships with key funders and stakeholders in the region. You will also oversee reporting on programmes and ensure evaluation data collection and dissemination.
• Development and implementation of local strategic plans: You will oversee implementation of regional plans, including coordination of priorities and allocation of resource.
• Profile raising and sustainability: You will speak at and attend events and meetings with potential funders and explore opportunities for growth/ You'll also oversee contract renewal process including development of sustainability plans or new delivery models and contract signing.
• Innovation, learning & development across the organisation: You will feed into innovation and development work through sharing learning and best practice across the organisation, and supporting development of systems and approaches.

The Programme and Partnership Manager will have proven experience in community development, stakeholder engagement and contract management. The successful candidate will have a passion for heritage conservation and community development, and will be an inspiring leader, keen to develop their team. You will have strong communication skills, including presentations and report writing, and you will have experience facilitating workshops and training.

You will also have experience working with communities, public and voluntary sectors, the ability to influence others and have experience designing and implementing new initiatives.

This role will require flexibility regarding working hours, including evenings and weekends when required. It also will involve significant regional travel, with some national travel and overnight stays. You will need the ability to travel independently. This role is subject to an Enhanced DBS child and adult barred list.

About the role

Stick 'n' Step already have established relationships within trusts and foundations; however, they have big plans to diversify their portfolio and reach a larger range of supporters. To do this, they are looking for a Trusts and Grants Fundraising Manager to join the team. In your role, you'll meet and exceed their trusts and grants targets through fundraising proposals. Your day to day will involve preparing compelling written applications, reports, and thank you letters, and supporting the stewardship of donors, along with working with the classroom team to research and identify impact stories, case studies, images and videos to include in your applications. As part of your role, you'll work closely with an amazing Chief Executive and Head of Conductive Education.

About you

This role will suit a skilled relationship builder and communicator with experience writing successful and compelling fundraising applications. You'll need a track record of meeting income targets and the ability to present to a high standard.

You'll also need to have strong organisational skills, with experience in planning and prioritising multiple projects at once. You'll be comfortable working independently and as part of a team. You'll also be someone who is able to project gravitas and credibility to high level supporters.
