Role description:
We are seeking a highly motivated self-driven, and energetic individual to join our Fundraising Team as the Corporate Fundraising Officer. You will lead on fostering excellent working relationships with potential and existing corporate partners. You will need to work closely with the Philanthropy and Partnerships Manager to shape the plans required for the future.
The post holder will require a good knowledge of fundraising and considerable energy and enthusiasm that will inspire excellent relationships by increasing charity of the year partnerships and employee fundraising/giving. You will be target driven, proactive, a determined self-starter and thrive on working with a range of partners, encouraging them to choose Southampton Hospitals Charity as their preferred charity.
Main Responsibilities:

Proactively source, research and approach new corporates in order to achieve annual income targets with a focus on charity of the year partnerships, payroll giving, employee fundraising/giving, peer to peer initiatives and marketing opportunities.

Develop, implement, and sustain a dynamic corporate fundraising portfolio, maintaining a well-organised pipeline of funding opportunities.

Devise and implement a long-term corporate fundraising strategy to cultivate and secure significant donations from new and existing supporters.

Curate an excellent cultivation and stewardship journey in order to build and strengthen relationships and maximise income to meet agreed income targets.

Attend and contribute to networking events, whilst actively organising events to foster relationships with new and existing corporate donors.

Identify, pursue and make applications to corporate funding opportunities by aligning proposals with companies' ESG policies, emphasising shared values and potential partnerships.

Develop creative fundraising campaigns and commercial sponsorship opportunities working with the events team to support with event costs.

Work with the wider charity team to identify networks of prospective corporate partners and plan relationship building as most appropriate.

Maintain precise and well-managed donor information in the organisation’s database to facilitate efficient tracking and follow-up, and ensure records are kept up to date in a timely, accurate and consistent manner.

Coordinate and organise corporate volunteering activities for our corporate partners.

Organise events for, and with corporate partners to enhance engagement and visibility.

Support the fundraising team with social media content ideas that highlight our activities and showcase the impact of corporate engagement.

To keep updated with guidance and best practice from the Fundraising Regulator and Chartered Institute of Fundraising.

Work closely with hospital consultants and other individuals leading on approved projects to ensure a full understanding of the project that can be relayed back to both existing and potential corporate partners.
Person Specification:
Knowledge and experience -

Excellent IT skills including using Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint as well as experience of administering and maintaining dedicated supporter CMS databases.

Knowledge of a fundraising database and knowledge of fundraising regulations e.g. GDPR (Beacon used).

Experience of collaborating with companies to encourage employee fundraising for charities.

Ability to effectively work under pressure and manage conflicting priorities.

Experience of working in corporate fundraising with a proven track record of at least 2 years’ experience.

This role will give you the opportunity to provide personalised support, helping clients develop independent living skills, build social networks, and access external services.
Your day-to-day work will involve conducting needs and risk assessments, creating support plans, and facilitating group work and structured interventions as part of our in-house recovery programme. You’ll work closely with external agencies to ensure that clients receive the holistic support they need, with a focus on both harm minimisation and recovery.

About the roles in our multiple disadvantage service in Westminster:
King George’s is a 68 bed hostel for men with complex needs and a history of rough sleeping. It is part of Westminster City Council’s Rough Sleepers Pathway. Many of our clients are deemed high risk/high support due to chronic mental health and physical health issues, high levels of substance misuse, and offending histories. We accept that our clients have experienced complex trauma, usually from a very early age and often throughout their lives including currently. For this reason, we work to imbed the Psychologically Informed Environment (PIE) approach in a service.
Reporting to the Manager, your role will require you to develop, support and motivate the people who we support and accommodate.We run a service that is creative, responsive and that provides a foundation which empowers people to achieve their aspirations and make positive and sustainable life changes. You will be crucial to making that happen. This role can make a real difference to individual's lives and crucially, support individuals many of whom face multiple disadvantages and have complex needs.

Aquarius is a charity that helps people and communities overcome the harm caused by alcohol, drugs and gambling. We are part of ‘One Recovery Buckinghamshire’ (ORB), a partnership between Inclusion (MPFT NHS Trust), Aquarius, and Build on Belief providing support for alcohol and drug issues across Buckinghamshire.
We are looking for three Support Workers (Community Connectors – Assessment and Engagement Team) to join our team. We have three positions available in Aylesbury.
Your challenge? To provide advice, support, advocacy and key work for recovery plans and undertake elements of assessment and case management as directed. And, all the while, we’ll expect you to operate in a way that recognises and values diversity and understands the functional model of substance use, the Recovery Agenda and the problems caused by alcohol and drug misuse.
Preferably with a NVQ 2/3 in Social Care, or willing to attain this, you are used to working to policy and procedural requirements that include child protection, vulnerable adults, confidentiality and health & safety. We’ll also be looking for good written and verbal communication skills and the ability to maintain accurate records and fulfil data requirements. We are looking for a specialist behavioural support worker of skilled, creative and experienced support workers to support one customer in his own home in Letchworth Garden City. Specialist Support Workers within Look Ahead are required to have either an extra dimension of experience or a higher qualification level as determined relevant for the particular post. Specialist Support Workers provide information, social inclusion and vocational opportunities to support people to recover and stay well; exercise choice and control in their care and lives; and participate on an equal footing in the community. Support is also provided to develop a model of re-enablement towards self-advocacy, self-management and empowerment, incorporating the principles and practice of recovery, co-production and peer support. This role must have an excellent value base to support the customer to build their life and develop their skills and passions as an independent person.

Change for Good Community Chaplaincy is a volunteer mentoring charity that works across London to support prison-leavers before and after release and as they resettle in the community. Central to our mission is the empowerment of those leaving prison to transform their lives through mentoring, advocacy, and peer support. We achieve this by offering support in prison, painstaking ‘through the gate’ work, volunteer mentoring, and our peer support group Next Chapter.
The last 4 years have seen Change for Good go from a mentoring project in HMP Wandsworth to an innovative resettlement charity serving 5 prisons. As we grow further, we need a CEO who can lead in the development of our strategic plan; inspire, train and support our small staff group in delivering our programmes; support the vital role of our volunteer mentors; and develop the roles of members of our community peer support group. The role also involves liaising with organisations across the criminal justice sector, working with multi-faith prison chaplaincies in challenging prison environments, and enabling the building of community.

- Lead on specialist knowledge areas (community-led research, consultation and impact measurement), advising/training VCSE organisations on the subject and developing relevant guidance and resources

Duties and key responsibilities
Leadership and Strategy
• Build and inspire a high-performing, results-oriented team focused on delivering sustainable income to maintain and build on recent growth.
• Hire, performance manage, support and develop the Individual Giving Fundraising Officer.
• Lead the development and delivery of Individual Giving strategies, leading on MAP’s Individual Giving retention strategy with a focus on loyalty, regular giving and lifetime value.

Planning and Management of Campaigns
• Collaborate with the Head of team and peers to develop team plans aligned with the Fundraising strategy.

Education/training
• Relevant direct marketing/fundraising qualification and/or equivalent experience.
Knowledge / Experience
• Relevant experience in fundraising and/or marketing, with experience of direct marketing and developing supporter/customer journeys and campaigns to build long-term loyalty, engagement and income growth.

• Confident with end-to-end project management, including managing multiple projects and priorities at once.

You will have some experience of prison settings, underpinned by the ability to build relationships and personal qualities that include resilience, determination and a problem-solving approach. This can be a tough environment, so the ability to work responsively, whilst feeling comfortable in a standalone role, is crucial.
This role is a fixed term role until 1st June 2025
