Power2 is a fast growing and energetic children and young people’s charity that has supported 25,000 young people since 2001. We are based in the North West of England and London and deliver early-intervention asset-based programmes to children and young people who have mental wellbeing challenges and are disengaged from school and more widely. We are well-known for our accredited Teens and Toddlers programme.

We support young people to get the most out of their education by helping them to improve their mental health and wellbeing and develop their skills. We inspire young people who are at significant risk of school exclusion to re-engage and fulfil their potential at school, at work and in life.
Our work is growing and we are looking for eight Programme Leads to deliver our programmes on a fixed-term contract, to enable all children and young people, regardless of their needs, to feel that they belong and can prosper.
Our new Programme Leads will work as part of a team to support young people, their families, and school staff to ensure that at-risk pupils make the most of their education and improve their life chances. Work will include 1:1 support and delivery of Power2’s core programmes, including Teens and Toddlers and Power2 Progress. The successful candidates could be based in one school, travel between multiple schools or work in the community.

Our Programme Leads work with significant autonomy and authority and must embrace responsibility and be accountable for their work. They work collaboratively alongside young people, operating as a mentor as they empower young people to develop self-esteem, become resilient and engage with school and their own future. About the role:
This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to continue their career, within an organisation with real potential to progress into service management or specialist roles. Based within Single Homeless Project's (SHP) Islington Complex Needs Accommodation Service, you will work closely with the Regional Services Manager and a multi-disciplinary team to deliver intensive, person-centred support to clients at our Ashley Road project. This is a high-impact role, designed to support individuals with multiple and complex needs, including mental and physical health challenges, substance use, and a history of offending. You will support and empower our clients as they move from crisis towards stability, independence, and meaningful engagement in the community.
As a Project Worker, you will have a direct and lasting impact on the lives of some of the most marginalised people in our society. You will play a vital role in helping clients sustain accommodation, access services, and develop the skills and confidence needed to take control of their lives. You will work in close partnership with external agencies and professionals to deliver coordinated support, while also playing a key part in preventing homelessness and promoting long-term inclusion. The working rota for this post is Monday - Friday, with no weekend shifts. The rota will consist of a mixture of earlies (8am - 3.30pm) & lates (3pm - 10.30pm).
About you:
- Previous experience of working with people with complex support needs.
- Ability to manage a caseload and deliver positive outcomes utilising your knowledge of the health, social care and criminal justice sector.
- A flexible, innovative and creative approach to working with a sometimes hard to engage and challenging client group, is also required.

About the role
We are looking for a Policy and Public Affairs Officer to join the team to work on an exciting new three-year project funded by the National Lottery Community Fund. As part of this project, you will work closely alongside our frontline partner Money Advice Plus to help take our influencing work to the next level in our mission to stop economic abuse forever.
The role of the Policy and Public Affairs Officer is to work closely with the Senior Policy and Public Affairs Manager and Head of Advocacy and Communications to develop viable, evidence-based policy solutions and deliver influencing plans to engage stakeholders from across parliament, the civil service, industry and charities to address economic abuse. Your focus will be on developing policy and influencing government on coerced debt – one of the most insidious yet devastating forms of economic abuse – to drive forward public and private sector responses. In this role, you will work collaboratively with our frontline partner Money Advice Plus and victim-survivors to ensure our policy and influencing work is grounded in women’s lived experiences of economic abuse.
You would be joining us at a significant moment as we launch our ambitious new three-year strategy. As part of this, we will build on our influencing work by ensuring victim-survivors’ voices are heard by the new Government to deliver lasting change.
About you
You will have experience in policy development, including undertaking research and analysing evidence to form credible evidence-based solutions and producing policy outputs like reports, consultation responses or briefings.
You will have strong public affairs skills, including excellent knowledge of parliamentary processes, sound political judgement, and proven ability to build support among a variety of stakeholders.
Your communication skills will be outstanding, with the ability to land complex messages clearly, concisely, and persuasively for different audiences both verbally and in writing.
You will have strong organisational skills and experience in organising events, like webinars or parliamentary roundtables. Your effective management of projects will interpersonal and organisational skills to get the best out of others, while navigating competing priorities with agility.
Knowledge of domestic, including economic, abuse and/or debt advice and policy responses is desirable.

The Volunteer Relationship Manager will play a crucial role in overseeing and optimising the volunteer programme within the College of Paramedics.

We are working in partnership with Richard House Children’s Hospice to secure their new Director of Income Generation.
An exciting opportunity has risen for a driven and experienced fundraiser. The postholder will be responsible for the leadership and development of the fundraising team, fostering a high-performing and motivated environment. Evaluating current fundraising initiatives to ensure an effective balance between long term activities and driving immediate income, analysing income streams to manage performance, growth and ROI and scoping opportunities to capitalise on existing income streams and develop actionable plans to diverse and grow fundraised income will be strong focus of this role. The Director will also take personal responsibility for major donors and cultivating and negotiating high value and/or high-profile fundraising partnerships.
This role is offered on an interim basis due to a desired quick start date, but with the option to become permanent.
Successful candidates must be able to demonstrate:
- Proven fundraising experience and a sound working knowledge of all main fundraising methods and streams.
- Track record of delivery at strategic and operational business level, and able to translate strategic vision into clear direction for the organisation and line reports.
- A track record of managing teams, both salaried and volunteers, to deliver fundraising targets, and with a proven ability to recruit, train and monitor performance.
- Experience of budget creation and management.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and persuade; an innovative, ambitious and proactive leadership style, with the ability to inspire others to maximise their potential, will be essential.

About the role:
The Early Help IDVA will be co-located within Brent Early Help and will help raise the team’s awareness, identification and response to those experiencing domestic abuse, the post holder will jointly work with Early Help Practitioners on cases to support service users and improve partnership responses.
The post holder will have an excellent understanding of domestic abuse and its effects on women and children. The post holder will understand children’s social care and care proceedings. As an experienced domestic abuse advocate who has worked with complex and multiple needs, the post holder will be skilled in risk management and safety planning, remaining calm in a crisis and in handling sensitive information on a daily basis. Experience of direct work with female survivors of domestic abuse, of supporting women involved with Children’s Social Services and Early Help, and of working within safeguarding procedures is essential for this post, as is the need to adopt and promote a strong partnership approach to service provision.
A car may be desirable for this role, though not essential
About You:
To be successful as the Early Help IDVA you will need the below experience and skills:
A thorough understanding of the dynamics of domestic violence (physical, emotional and sexual violence, so-called ‘honour-based violence’, forced marriage, stalking and harassment) and its impact on women, children, families and communities.
Experience of working with social care agencies or in a social care setting.
Experience of partnership working and of maintaining excellent working relationships with a
range of stakeholders.
Excellent risk assessment, support and advocacy skills and the ability to advocate successfully using evidence and professional experience.
Ability to network, influence, problem solve and apply solution focused approaches to increase access and safety and facilitate positive outcomes for women and children
