Travel: Required to attend donor or team conferences/meetings up to 4 times a year. Travel to HQ in Truro, Cornwall, approx. 4 x per year.

Main role and responsibilities

As the driving force behind our UK public fundraising and international giving network— including our 13 incredible ShelterBox affiliates — this role represents a unique opportunity to shape and elevate our fundraising strategy. ShelterBox is entering an exciting phase of public fundraising investment. As we focus on improving our audience focus and scaling our evergreen acquisition, we need an agile, learning focused leader to head up this successful team. As Head of Supporter Engagement, you will lead the development and execution of our fundraising strategy across key disciplines, including Individual Giving (Retention and Acquisition), Legacies, Community Fundraising, and International Giving.

Through an audience-first mindset, optimised supporter journeys, and high-performing, integrated campaigns, you will drive growth in sustainable, unrestricted income. In moments of major disaster, you’ll maximise giving, ensuring our lifesaving aid gets to where it needs to be.

Reporting to the Deputy Director of Fundraising, this leadership role is pivotal to our success. You’ll be a key member of the ShelterBox senior leadership team, contributing not just to the FundComms directorate but to the wider organisation.  Duties will include but not be limited to:

 - Develop and implement an ambitious public fundraising strategy for UK audiences and lead our international giving strategy, in line with ShelterBox’s overarching objectives.  

· Know your audience and your market. Drive income growth, retention, and acquisition through compelling campaigns and exceptional supporter journeys.

· Ensure a diverse and impactful portfolio of fundraising products, fostering innovation and optimisation.

· Oversee the rollout and optimisation of our Gifts in Wills strategy, embedding legacy giving as a fundamental part of our fundraising culture.

· Work collaboratively with the Digital Team to maximise digital channels for supporter engagement and acquisition, and scaling evergreen digital ad campaigns to boost income.

· Lead major disaster public fundraising appeals.

· Strengthen engagement and growth across our global affiliate network, and help shape the future of international giving.

· Work with the Community & Events Team to enhance our relationship-driven approach, building inspiring supporter journeys and compelling propositions, and maximising our work across Rotary Clubs and Districts.

· Partner with the Head of Fundraising Operations to identify system improvements that enhance our audience understanding to drive income growth and supporter experience.

· Use data and insights to drive strategic decision-making and performance optimisation.

· Work closely with the Head of Philanthropy & Partnerships to identify opportunities to collaborate and to feed a pipeline of high-level support.

· Lead and inspire a talented team, setting clear objectives and fostering a culture of excellence.

· Manage financial processes, budgeting, and reporting with precision and accountability.

· Represent ShelterBox as required and always work in line with our aims and values.

· Adapt to major disaster situations, occasionally working evenings and weekends at short notice.

· Other duties as may be assigned by your line management.

Overview of the Head of Campaigns role and the team

Barnabas Aid is seeking a dynamic and strategic individual for the role of Head of Campaigns, a critical position within our International Outreach Department. The post-holder will lead the development and delivery of impactful campaigns, aimed at raising awareness, prayer, and vital donations for the charity’s work with persecuted Christians worldwide. The Head of Campaigns will be responsible for key initiatives such as the Barnabas Brekkie/Breakfast campaign, as well as major supporter events like Encourage. This is a new and exciting role within the organisation, offering the opportunity to shape the future of Barnabas Aid's fundraising and supporter relations strategy. The role requires close collaboration with the Head of Communications, the Philanthropy Manager, and the Living Streams Officer, and will involve working alongside the National Directors of our Regional Offices around the world to ensure campaign strategies are effectively adapted to local contexts.

As the Head of Technical and Consulting, you will lead a specialist team to deliver our consultancy, training and charity formation services, ensuring that we continue to deliver highly valuable expertise and knowledge to our church and charity partners.

This role forms part of Stewardship’s Leadership Team, collaborating closely with members of the Leadership Team and the other professional services teams to help safeguard the financial and governance reputation of God’s Church.

We are recruiting for a temporary Special Events officer for a high profile charity . You will need solid end to end event management experience in the special events or philanthropy space.

Hybrid working 2 days in their London Office

The Role
Deliver end to end planning and event day activities for both virtual and face to face events within the high-value (10k-1m) events portfolio. This includes identifying potential venues/virtual platforms, working across the department to build invitation lists, developing content based on strategic priorities, producing high-level invitations and supporting collateral, overseeing event technology, briefing speakers and senior staff, securing auction lots, and undertaking post-event evaluations and reporting .
Source and oversee external suppliers and contractors as required to deliver events e.g. logistics, venue, entertainment, catering, design and creative and negotiate all costs, contracts and in-kind partnerships where appropriate.
Support event project groups, , to agree messaging and timelines and ensure all objectives are met.
Steward senior internal stakeholders for events, producing thorough written and verbal event briefings for the teams

The Candidate
Experience in a special events fundraising role
Experience of working in a team focused on high net worth individuals
Experience of working in a team focused on VIPs/celebrities
Previous experience of leading on medium to large events and logistics with end-to-end management (e.g. dealing with venues/hosts, invitations, guest list, messaging, content production, caterers, printers etc.)
Experience of using Adobe lnDesign and Photoshop to produce event collateral

We are excited to be recruiting for a new Special Events Assistant to join  the Special Events and Celebrity Engagement team who sit within the St Mungo’s Philanthropy Team. We organise events and manage celebrity relationships, with the aim of spreading awareness and supporting our mission to rebuild lives and end rough sleeping.

The new role of Special Events Assistant will give you the opportunity to support the team in planning and delivering engaging events that highlight our clients' stories and the impact of our work, inspiring audiences to start or continue their support. Your role will include assisting with the planning and delivery of events, maintaining good relationships with internal and external stakeholders, managing event communications and collateral, processing data accurately and securely. This role offers a chance to learn, grow, and make a meaningful impact. Other key responsibilities include:

• Assist with the planning and delivery of special events, working closely with the Special Events and Celebrity Engagement Manager.
• Work with teams across St Mungo’s, including our Philanthropy and Partnerships teams, to help create and deliver engaging events for donors and partners that contribute to achieving wider team objectives.
• Provide excellent supporter care and customer service, responding to event enquiries and co-ordinating event communications.
• Provide admin support to the Special Events function, ensuring the database (Raiser’s Edge NXT) is accurately maintained and up to date for events, and you’ll assist with reporting and gathering insights post-event.
• Follow fundraising best practices, adhere to St Mungo’s policies, and contribute to a supportive team culture.

About you

We are looking for someone with a proactive approach to learning and a passion for making a difference. You might already be in a similar role, have some previous experience in organising events or may be looking to bring transferable skills and a willingness to learn, to the role. Global Greengrants Fund (GGF) supports grassroots activists and civil society organisations around the world working to address environmental and social justice in over 160 countries.  GGF applies a participatory and decentralised model in making grants to grassroots groups through regional and thematic boards of advisors, global partner networks and independent funds, to support grassroots environmental and social justice action.

Global Greengrants Fund comprises two organisations located in the USA, Global Greengrants Fund Inc (established in 1993), and Global Greengrants Fund UK (established in 2012). The Role

Global Greengrants Fund UK is looking to hire an energetic and passionate individual who will play a key role in leading the finance function. The Head of Finance reports to the Director of Finance and Operations (DFO) and is responsible for the ensuring the smooth day to day operations of the finance function, including maintaining and ensuring accuracy of organisation's financial records, supporting all financial strategies and financial operations. They are responsible for all accounting, financial reporting and budgeting functions of the organisation, and with guidance ensures the organisation adheres to relevant regulatory and accounting principles. They work closely with the DFO to manage information exchange, integration and collaboration with our US sister organisation.  Playing a vital role in the finance function they ensure accurate financial data capture and high-quality financial reporting while driving automation and efficiency across financial processes. They will work closely and collaboratively with budget holders, particularly in programs and philanthropic partnerships teams, providing them with meaningful financial insight and advice.

They will also play a key role in understanding and managing program/project funding (both restricted and unrestricted) and collaborate with the Programme Funding Manager ensuring effective tracking of restricted and unrestricted income and expenditure within GGF.

The ability to leverage Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks and other financial tools (policies, processes and software) will be crucial in optimising our financial systems and improving processes.

The candidate profile.

The successful applicant will have significant relevant experience in a similar role in a charitable, environmental, development, social justice, feminist, gender, human rights organisation, and/or grant-making organisation. The ideal candidate will be a highly skilled and experienced finance professional with a relevant accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or AAT) experience in the charity or non-profit sector. They will value transparency and accountability, demonstrating strong critical thinking and, strategic risk management. They will have a deep understanding of UK GAAP accounting principles and a strong background in financial management, including budgeting, financial controls, grant processing, and audit preparation. Proficiency in financial systems, particularly QuickBooks Advanced or similar accounting software, as well as advanced Excel skills, is essential. The candidate will be highly organised, detail-oriented, and capable of prioritising workloads in a fast-paced and evolving environment. With a proven ability to oversee financial processes, implement automation strategies, and manage treasury functions, they will also be confident in providing financial insights and risk assessments to senior leadership. Experience working in an international organisation and knowledge of exchange rate risk management would be advantageous. They also thrive in a virtual environment, motivated to take on challenges and collaboratively find innovative and creative solutions. Multiple language skills would be ideal, while English fluency is a must.
