The Director of Fundraising be responsible for developing and implementing a fundraising strategy. This will include the day-to-day management of the existing fundraising team and championing fundraising at senior management level and with the Board.

The ideal candidate will have:

- 5 to 10 years of fundraising experience, including managing a fundraising department.

- Proven track record of achieving a step change in income generation

- Experience of two of the following fundraising methodologies: Grants, Corporate, Community and events, Legacies, High net worth individuals or Commissioning

Evidence of continuous professional development in fundraising together with management experience and/or qualification is essential. As is strong digital skills, with a track record of maximising the use of CRMs and excellent business writing skills.

Must have good internal and external interpersonal skills, be an inspirational leader and capacity to represent Bipolar UK at a senior level.

We are seeking a Training & Engagement Manager to work across our portfolio of programmes, particularly focusing on Education in the North East of England and our Parental Engagement Programme. WECare is seeking a Marketing Manager to lead the strategic direction of our digital marketing efforts. Key responsibilities:

1. Strategic Planning & Development

• Lead the overall strategic direction for WECare’s digital marketing, focusing on long-term growth and engagement.
• Develop and oversee comprehensive marketing strategies and communication plans to increase awareness and supporter engagement.
• Conduct audience and market research to shape targeted campaigns and forecast future marketing opportunities.
• Collaborate with teams across fundraising, social media, and external partners to ensure cohesive execution of digital strategies.
• Monitor and analyse digital marketing performance using data-driven insights to inform adjustments and future strategies.

2. Digital Marketing & Analysis

• Drive WECare’s digital growth by leading SEO, social media, email marketing, and online advertising initiatives.
• Oversee the management of WECare’s digital platforms, ensuring they are aligned with organisational goals and effectively engaging target audiences.
• Analyse data from digital marketing campaigns to optimise performance and inform strategic direction.
• Implement advertising campaigns (Google Ad Grants, paid social media) to attract new supporters and grow WECare’s international reach.
• Support the Fundraising department in developing and improving donor development initiatives, (such as supporter journeys) fostering lasting relationships through platforms like Mailchimp and HubSpot CRM.

3. Content Oversight & Campaign Management

• Oversee the creation of content (written, visual, multimedia) by internal teams and external partners, ensuring it aligns with WECare’s messaging and goals.
• Act as a strategic guide for content creation, focusing on maintaining consistency and supporting overall digital strategies.
• Ensure content supports broader marketing and fundraising goals while delegating day-to-day content creation to team members and creative professionals.
• Lead the planning and management of major digital marketing campaigns, working closely with relevant teams to ensure success.

4. Partnership & Community Engagement

• Identify and cultivate relationships with sponsors, partners, and local communities to strengthen WECare's support network.
• Support the organisation and promotion of key events, securing sponsorships and partnerships to enhance visibility.
• Lead outreach to the local and international community, promoting responsible animal care and building support for WECare’s mission.

5. Performance & Reporting

• Track and evaluate the effectiveness of marketing efforts, providing insights into performance and areas for improvement.
• Ensure that all marketing activities are cost-effective and within budget.
• Review marketing tools, platforms, and technologies regularly to ensure they align with WECare's needs and growth plans.

About the role.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for leading the Major Donor, Corporate, and Trusts & Foundations fundraising function. You’ll manage a team of three, with two direct line reports: the Corporate Partnerships Manager and the Trust & Foundation Manager.

• Recommendations of where we should be focussing our income generation efforts and targets for each income stream 

• A generic case for support, which can be repurposed for a variety of funders.

Skills and experience

Purpose of the role

As a member of the research and evaluation team, the Evaluation and Learning Lead is responsible for the development, co-ordination, delivery and impact of NDTi’s commissioned, grant and trust funded evaluation and learning work. The post holder will manage and deliver a portfolio of evaluation and learning projects and will contribute to wider programme activities as required.

The person NDTi appoint to this important role will:

• develop, lead and deliver evaluation and learning projects and act as liaison for staff and associates involved in delivery of NDTi’s evaluation work.
• identify and share learning and insights generated by our work, showcasing the team’s innovative approaches, partnerships and achievements.
• design and develop evaluation and learning methodologies and materials, maintaining a consistent and high-quality approach to R&E work across NDTi.
• maintain a steady pipeline of opportunities, negotiating, securing and project managing a range of evaluation and learning contracts.
• ensure that our evaluation and learning work is co-produced with a range of stakeholders, including people with lived experience.
• establish and maintain diverse networks, generating new contacts and work opportunities for yourself and others in NDTi.
• ensure that NDTi’s evaluation and learning work is impactful and influential.

Key activities

Delivering evaluation and learning projects

Day to day, the Evaluation and Learning Lead will project manage and deliver a portfolio of evaluation and learning projects ensuring that each is delivered on time, within budget and to the expected high standard.

Securing and managing contracts

• develop and invest time in nurturing diverse contacts, partnerships and relationships to ensure that NDTi’s evaluation and learning work has a significant and positive profile, influencing attitudes, and changing policy and practice in order to make society more inclusive.
• identify opportunities for, and lead on, the development of proposals and tenders to ensure delivery of NDTi’s mission.

Work experience & qualifications

• At least four years of experience of delivering leading edge practice in relation to evaluation and learning activities (e)

• Demonstrable ability and experience of successfully tendering and applying for funding, developing and sustaining a viable pipeline of future opportunities (e)

The Churches Conservation Trust (CCT) has an international award-winning reputation in heritage conservation and regeneration for its own estate. For this reason CCT has been contracted to deliver a programme of work for Historic Chapels Trust (HCT). HCT owns and cares for 20 of the most significant Nonconformist and Catholic chapels no longer in regular use by their congregations, all listed at Grade I and Grade II*.  Key to the project is management of the assets, funded by the National Heritage Memorial Fund (NHMF) through their Cultural Assets Fund (CAF).

As a member of CCT’s national Conservation team you will be the main point of contact for all chapel maintenance related issues, liaising closely with contractors, local groups and volunteers. Alongside the Conservation Projects Manager for Chapels you will deliver the maintenance programme, including regulatory and legal compliance, as well as deal with utilities and insurance of chapels. 10 of the chapels are in our North region, 6 in our West region and 4 are in our South East region.

You will have previous experience in the field of historic buildings maintenance, repair or property management. You will be an effective communicator, be able to plan and deliver your own workload and also work as part of a team. As you’ll be working at chapels throughout England it is essential you have a full driving licence.
