AIMS / PURPOSE OF THE POST
To ensure that services are delivered in accordance with appropriate clinical standards and protocols such as The Survivors Trust, BACP and any specific requirements from the Management Committee, funders and commissioners.
To manage the helpline service by ensuring that the helpline volunteers provide consistent support and an effective service on the helpline. In addition, to be responsible for facilitating the provision of regular supervision sessions, ongoing support and reflective practice, ensuring best practice and assessing the performance of service delivery.
To line manage staff members. Responsible for annual appraisals, ongoing monitoring of performance, identifying and providing relevant training and managing HR issues.
To facilitate the recruitment, induction and training of new staff members.
To identify and organise regular training and personal development opportunities for staff and volunteers.
To oversee marketing activities and the use of social media to promote awareness of Trust House’s services and increase engagement.
To research relevant funding opportunities and produce bespoke grant applications. Identify qualitative and quantitative data and extract relevant information from the database, Lamplight. Produce written progress reports to funders evidencing best practice and using collated data on project progress and outcomes.
To represent the charity with internal and external stakeholders, develop effective working partnerships with statutory, voluntary and other organisations and to undertake external presentations and awareness raising as required.
To undertake administrative responsibilities for the office.
MAIN DUTIES
The Services Coordinator is responsible for the following duties and responsibilities:
• To coordinate the effective delivery of Trust House’s clinical services;
• To produce and keep up to date all resources and best practice policies and procedures;
• To develop and implement The Survivors Trust service standards and procedures and to support all staff and volunteers to work in accordance with these standards as well as the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy Ethical Framework;
• To ensure the availability and performance of the required hardware, software, and other tools to support the organisation’s IT requirements;
• To establish and manage effective internal communication processes and on-going feedback opportunities to provide a supportive and responsive infrastructure;
• To line manage and support staff members and student interns;
• To identify and organise the provision of external training and personal development opportunities for staff and volunteers;
• To facilitate the recruitment, induction and training of staff members;
• To represent Trust House as appropriate: in meetings with stakeholder agencies; and as required deliver presentations and support awareness raising activities;
• To manage all marketing activities and the use of social media to promote awareness of Trust House’s services and increase engagement including keeping the website up to date.
• To support the CEO with fundraising activities including researching relevant funding opportunities and completing grant applications.
Helpline management -
• To manage and ensure the provision of an effective, efficient and professional helpline for service users;
• To manage the helpline team, including providing ongoing support, regular supervision and reflective practice;
• To ensure quality assurance for the data entry and case recording of helpline calls on the Lamplight database;
• To track and monitor service metrics to identify areas for improvement;

What's the role about?

We are looking for an empathic, organised and intuitive wellbeing professional to join our student support team in the Department of Design Engineering.
As one of two part-time student wellbeing advisers in the department, your primary work will be to provide direct one-to-one support for our postgraduate and undergraduate students. This might include conversations about mental health, relationships, sexuality, finance, studies, family issues, neurodiversity, disability, accommodation, bereavement, trauma and other topics.
The role also involves liaising with academic colleagues, signposting students to internal & external provisions, and running occasional group wellbeing initiatives. You will be a part of developing the wellbeing provision and supporting in upskilling academic staff around wellbeing and mental health issues.
The role is part time 0.4 FTE (2 days per week) and is a fixed term contract for 2 years. Duties and responsibilities
You will provide:
Wellbeing advice – you will listen, support and advise students on wellbeing issues they present with. The aim is to provide a safe, confidential, collaborative space for students to discuss whatever is on their mind. This might be a single conversation, short term support or more regular, ongoing check-ins depending on the situation. At times you will signpost students to internal/external services and liaise with appropriate staff as needed.
You will also:
· Run group wellbeing initiatives for students
· Liaise with colleagues regarding students who need extra academic support due to wellbeing issues
· Support necessary students to access Imperial’s Disability Advice Service, and ensure their required adjustments are communicated to the education team
· Contribute to the department’s EDI committee

Essential requirements
· You will have experience working with students in a further or higher education setting, or working with young adults in another relevant setting (such as a charity, healthcare, mental health, or a counselling/therapeutic setting).

About You
The successful candidate will be employed by the IUCN UK Peatland Programme’s host organisation, The Royal Society of Wildlife Trusts. The new team member will be pivotal in the delivery of the Peatland Programme’s objectives to champion peatland values. They will have the level of knowledge and experience to drive forward and promote peatland restoration in the UK and be able to advocate the multiple benefits of peatlands through partnerships, strong science, sound policy and effective practice, and communication.
They are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Communications and Engagement Lead to drive and deliver the IUCN UK Peatland Programme’s communications activity to promote the benefits of healthy peatlands to a national audience. You will lead the production of communications materials through design and appropriate messaging, assist their advocacy work, and plan and deliver events such as online workshops and their annual conference.

The peatland agenda has expanded exponentially over the last 10 years and you will need to be an excellent team player and networker to capture what is happening and communicate this to multiple partners and stakeholders. The Communications and Engagement Lead post is a standalone communications post within a small team (9 people) and your ability to quickly develop good relationships with partner organisations will be critical to your success in the role.
You will be lead on the delivery of the communications strand of the Peatland Programme’s activity. You should have experience of designing publications, creating digital content, newsletters, running stakeholder events and managing social media accounts. The Role
The Mental Health Support Worker will provide flexible, practical, holistic, and accessible support to Gypsies and Travellers across West Yorkshire to improve and promote mental wellbeing. Climb are an Prevention and Early Intervention Service for 10-17 year old's who may vulnerable to criminal exploitation and/or at risk of entering the criminal justice system. We offer 1-1 outreach support and access to positive diversionary activities in their local areas.
This is an exciting role within an established and expanding service across West Mercia. There are a number of varied, practitioner roles that are set to increase. We are currently looking for a Exploitation Practitioner to join our dynamic, ambitious team.
This role will support young people at risk of criminal exploitation or entering the criminal justice system; at an early intervention level. This will be through 1-1, direct work and support in accessing positive diversionary activities, therefore reducing the risk. It will also require excellent mutli-agency work.
This role is for people with a passion in supporting vulnerable young people on a 1-1 basis, in raising their aspirations, building their confidence, working together with professionals to ensure the most appropriate, robust and holistic support is offered to meet each individual's needs. A key part of this role will be your ability to positively impact the lives of Children and Young people.
You will need to be able to engage with professional colleagues also, have presentation skills, and be able to bring people together around mutual goals.
Although the contracts are home based, there will be a lot of daily travel across Telford or Shropshire area. Although there is no specific office base, you will be part of a geographically based team and will be well supported by the management team and all of your colleagues.

The role

About the role:
