The Leprosy Mission (TLM) is the world’s largest leprosy-focused organisation, a pioneer in our field, with over 150 years’ experience serving people affected by this disease. Today, one person every two minutes is diagnosed with leprosy. It’s a disease of poverty, striking the most vulnerable. Left untreated, it causes permanent disability. Stigma means that people affected by this disease are often rejected by those closest to them.

PURPOSE OF THE POST/RESPONSIBILITIES

Caudwell Children is a national charity which works to change the lives of disabled and autistic children; change society’s understanding and acceptance of disability; and change public perceptions of the important role that charity plays in society.

Based from the award-winning Caudwell International Children’s Centre in Staffordshire, we seek an experienced relationship manager with the ability to identify opportunities and develop relationships to raise funds which support the charity’s expanding service delivery.

Responsible for the ownership and development of corporate supporter relationships, this role will play a pivotal part in helping to grow the charity’s fundraising income and helping to change the lives of autistic and disabled children across the UK and beyond.

The successful candidate will join a growing team of enthusiastic fundraising professionals aimed at improving the donor experience and growing the charity’s corporate fundraising partnerships income.

The role will be part of the Corporate Fundraising strand which will be responsible for income lines including, but not limited to:

• Charity of the Year
• Cause-related Marketing
• Licensing
• Strategic Partnerships

Success will be supported and monitored by the Director of Corporate Fundraising against KPI’s including lead generation, conversion rates and income growth.

Relationship development will be documented and reported using the charity’s dedicated CRM system (currently Raiser’s Edge).

The Access Project is an education charity; we believe that every young person can make the most of education, unlocking their potential and creating a fairer society.

We support over 1,800 young people aged 14 to 18 across 40 schools. Our mission is to support students from under-resourced backgrounds to access top universities, through a unique combination of tuition and in-school mentoring. What you’ll be responsible for

Leadership and management

• Working closely with the Fundraising and Communications Director to develop a corporate partnerships plan that focuses on the acquisition of corporate partnerships and excellent account management of existing partnerships, resulting in renewals and uplift in value.
• Leading, supporting and inspiring a team of two (Corporate Partnerships Manager and Fundraising Co-ordinator) to deliver the corporate partnerships strategy and individual giving strategy.
• Developing objectives and targets for the corporate partnerships team and ensuring accurate and timely reporting against these.
• Ensuring effective team use of Salesforce for relationship management, data management and providing information for financial reporting and audit purposes.

New business development

• Periodically refreshing our corporate offer with creative ideas, proposals and content to inspire decision makers. 
• Winning new business for The Access Project at the 5 and 6 figure level with support from the Director of Fundraising and Communications and the CEO/Executive team and Board.
• Managing the preparation and submission of major corporate partnership bids and coordinating internal teams to contribute effectively. 
• Leading research and development to identify new fundraising opportunities.
• Ensuring high quality and inspiring communications and materials are produced in accordance with brand guidelines.

Account management and stewardship 

• Delivering successful partnerships in your portfolio through excellent account management to maximise fundraising and volunteering potential and retain partners. 
• Ensuring corporate partnerships are celebrated through working with Communications colleagues. 
• Working collaboratively with the wider Fundraising Team, Volunteer Team, Programmes Team and other functions to deliver a fantastic partner experience and ensure an integrated and joined up approach.

JOB PURPOSE

UK for UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency's national charity partner, is looking for an ambitious and proactive Senior Corporate Partnerships Officer to join the Private Partnerships & Philanthropy team.

ROLE RESPONSIBLITIES

• Account management of a portfolio of high value partnerships, providing first-class relationship management and maximising value, including financial, advocacy, pro bono and in-kind support. 
• Work with existing corporate engagement products and support the development of new employee fundraising ideas. 
• Research new trends and innovations and emerging areas of interest for corporate partners.
• Act as team lead for quarterly corporate e-newsletter.
• Remain flexible and quickly respond to emergency situations, identifying and responding to fundraising opportunities.

Essential Experience

• A track record of stewarding and maximising multi-year corporate partnership(s), preferably within the charity sector.
• A track record of devising and delivering bespoke and engaging partnership fundraising plans and campaigns to increase income.
• Experience of communicating complex themes and subjects to a variety of audiences, written and verbal.
• Experience of event management and co-ordination to engage corporates and their employees

The Chartered Institute for Library and Information Professionals (CILIP) is a London-based charity with a friendly, hardworking team supporting our members in the UK and internationally.

This is a fantastic role working with a small team supporting the planning and delivery of a sector-leading training offer, CILIP Learn.  CILIP Learn is an exciting new platform under development for CILIP’s learning and CPD offer to members and the sector.

CILIP prides itself on presenting high quality training events, often in partnership with external training providers. Training sessions are specifically designed for those working across the information, knowledge and library professions. This role directly supports the delivery of CILIP training, specifically training contracted by employers, and training delivered through partnerships.

The role

Reporting to the Director of Sector Development and working closely with the CILIP Learn Development Manager the Training and Partnerships Officer will support in the delivery of CILIPs training offer. 

The ideal candidate will have a broad experience in delivering or overseeing training delivery, online events and webinars, managing successful relationships with stakeholders and have strong IT skills.  The main responsibilities of the role include:

• To work with the Director of Sector Development and the CILIP Learn Development Manager to deliver a market-leading training offer for CILIP within CILIP Learn. To deliver and evaluate a portfolio of training events, building effective relationships with training providers.
• To support successful contract and stakeholder management related to the training partnerships and training contracts.
• To develop and maintain systems and processes which ensure that the development of the CILIP Learn offer is based on data, evidence and market intelligence.

It is not essential for the candidate to possess prior knowledge of the sector but they will have the right level of knowledge and enthusiasm to learn rapidly and bring their transferable skills to the role.

The role is 28 hours per week, ideally worked over 4 days but we are open to discussions around the working pattern for delivery of this role.

Work Location/Hybrid Working Pattern

This role will be based at our Head Office in central London. Mothers’ Union operates a hybrid working model. Tuesdays are our anchor days where every staff member is expected to be at the office. The 90 days includes anchor Tuesdays. The role

Our key priorities at FareShare UK are to grow the food volumes accessible to the charities and community groups we support across the UK. Food partners (manufacturers, retailers, wholesalers, importers, packers, catering providers, producers and others) are pivotal in helping us to meet these priorities, providing access to food and many other strategic resources. The Corporate Partnerships Manager will support KSS's fundraising with corporate partners, businesses, and business-related organisations across all regions (Kent, Surrey and Sussex). The role will help to drive current activity towards its full potential and find ways to grow corporate fundraising through strong relationship management and stewardship.

Main Responsibilities:

- Effectively manage corporate relationships to ensure that these organisations are well nurtured and supported, and that they receive adequate recognition for their contribution towards KSS's continued operation.
- To retain all corporate partners where possible and increase income from our current donors year on year. By having a 12-month plan for key partners and a plan/journey for how to elevate low level donors.
- To create collateral and fundraising mechanisms to support the 12-month plan in Canva and with the assistance of the marcomms team such as: fundraising calendar, flyers for events, t-shirts, seasonal fundraisers e.g. at Easter Guess the eggs in the jar.
- For key partners create a yearly 1 pager impact report of their donation and a more general report for other partners.

This role will involve regular travel in order to build connections with potential partners and to develop relationships with all of our farms. About Jamie’s Farm

Jamie’s Farm is a charity which helps young people to flourish at home, in education and in the community through an intensive weeklong immersion in rural life. During a busy residential stay, young people help us run large working livestock farms and tackle many challenging and unfamiliar jobs, designed to offer everyone an opportunity for achievement, thereby building their self-esteem and confidence. They live in a supportive family environment that encourages them to push themselves out of their comfort zone. Our therapeutic input makes use of individual and group sessions to allow children to reflect on their lives on the farm and back home, to draw out tangible strategies for improvements to be realised when they return home.

Our programme is shown to have long term positive impacts on the lives of the young people we support. At the end of their visit, 66% of all young people showed improved mental wellbeing. Six weeks after their visit, of those with concerning attendance, 67% were no longer of concern. Six months after their visit, of those previously at risk of permanent exclusion, 64% were no longer at risk. These dramatic changes are only possible through the combined efforts of the entire Jamie’s Farm team.

Partnerships Manager Role 

Jamie’s Farm is quickly growing to help meet the increasing needs of young people from around the UK. The legacy of the pandemic, increasing mental health challenges and the cost-of-living crisis are all causing more children than ever to need the support of programmes like ours. Our existing farms are all full to capacity and booked many months ahead. As part of our strategic plan, we wish to grow our capacity and expand our geographical presence so that we can help more children, from more communities, during the second decade of Jamie’s Farm’s history. 

The Partnerships Manager plays a crucial role in the next phase of Jamie’s Farm’s growth. Our new farm in Skipton opened its doors to young people for day visits in April 2023 and is currently undergoing development as another residential farm. We have also just purchased a second farm near Bath, which is currently being developed. Combined, these two sites will allow us to work with another 80 partners and support almost 1,000 more young people every year. 

The Partnerships Manager’s principal task will be finding and developing these new partnerships. This will involve building relationships with schools, local authorities, academy chains and other charities around the country, sharing the benefits of a Jamie’s Farm programme and supporting them to make a visit possible. The Partnerships Manager will also work closely with other members of the HQ team to develop and expand other earned income streams, all of which are used to directly subsidise our groups of visiting young people.

The Candidate
Track record of securing new high value partnerships

Experience of managing and developing partnerships with flair and creativity

Demonstrable experience of building strong relationships with external and internal stakeholders

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to clearly convey concepts and inspire others through written & verbal channels.
