The Green Exercise Project Officer will help people to connect with nature and each other while building levels of physical activity, supporting people to move away from a sedentary lifestyle and live a good life. We seek to deliver long-term programmes delivered across local green spaces, parks, riverside and coastline, to provide entry level accessible activity. They will be responsible for facilitating the implementation of the health and wellbeing projects and developing and delivering Green Exercise sessions with the aim of getting people active in the outdoors and building nature connection across South Tyneside and North Tyneside, increasing levels of physical activity and healthy lifestyle choices within the target communities.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering health and wellbeing sessions, particularly in an outdoor environment. As Strategic Lead for Young People, you will lead our work to better support young people's mental health, with a focus on trauma. You will manage the Young People's mental health team to drive development and delivery of our initiatives and programmes focused on young people, including our Youth Voice Network. You will work across the organisation and with local Minds and external partners to understand challenges and barriers to young people's mental health and identify opportunities for Mind to address these, e.g. through partnerships and innovation, collaborating with key stakeholders, internally and externally, to develop and mobilise solutions.
You will do this through lived experience leadership, coproduction and engagement with relevant audiences. You will provide oversight and challenge to delivery teams across the Federation to ensure that we maximise our impact for young people.
Team information
This role is located within the Mental Health Equity team within the wider Social Impact Directorate to provide strategic insight and oversight, and ensure an intersectional approach to addressing mental health inequities.
Key duties and responsibilities
The post holder will:
-Continuous development of Mind's strategic plans for supporting Young People with a focus on trauma. Ensure the plans maximise Mind's impact and innovation across the Mind federation and enable us to reach our strategic ambitions.
-Work with colleagues across the Mental Health Equity team to deliver the support offer to the network and assess for good practice, focussed around using the Advancing Mental Health Equalities strategy as a starting point
-Management of the young people's mental health team
-Lead on the co-ordination & co-design of flagship CYP delivery at both a local and national level, working in partnership with Federation Innovation colleagues, fundraising teams and others across the Federation to develop new programmes and services and leverage funding
-Ensure that young people's lived experience informs & guides Mind's work at both a local and national level so that young people with lived experience are actively involved in the planning, development and delivery of Mind's strategic plans

The Role

The ideal person for this role may have experience working within the charity sector in a relationship management role and have knowledge of how to work with Trust and Foundations to generate income. Overall Purpose
To work and lead on setting clear standards for high quality gathering, recording, monitoring and use of data collected via our grant’s programmes and initiative, accessing this data to inform donor grant reports, infographic data sharing, donor reports and network reporting in an accurate and transparent way. Reporting to the Head of Impact you will be technically proficient in monitoring data use of the CRM systems. You will also work directly with the Senior Leadership team on initiatives requiring evidence of impact and return on investment. The Data Officer will work closely with colleagues across the Foundation contributing to the delivery of the Foundation’s Strategic Plan, vision, and values.
Responsibilities
To lead on the accurate recording, management, and accessibility of data gathered through the Foundations programmes and initiatives via our Salesforce CRM system and future platforms, including potential Social Value and Social Return on Investment models.
Support the grants team in recording and maintaining accurate data, ensuring records are complete, up-to-date, and compliant. Conduct routine system checks and regular data cleansing as required.
Support monitoring received from grantees, helping extract key data and learning, checked by Head of Impact.
Provide support to Head of Impact with Salesforce CRM training to internal teams to enhance data usage and impact measurement.
Performance Management
Collect, analyse, and present relevant data on a quarterly basis to support donor reporting.
Produce data driven reports aligned with the Donor Care Plan, ensuring accuracy in evaluation, impact measurement, and End of Grant reporting (quality checked by Head of Impact).
Develop and submit annual data reports for platforms such as 360 Giving, FREA (Funders for Race Equalities Alliance), IVAR and other partnership platforms aligned to BLCF work including UK Community Foundation Quality Assurance.
Provide insights and key learnings that demonstrate the effectiveness of grantmaking, inform strategic decisions, and highlight return on investment.
Relationship Management
Regularly connect and engage with wider Community Foundation network to ensure BLCF’s data systems remain fit for purpose and aligned with sector best practices.
Participate in cross-foundation learning initiatives to stay updated on trends in data-driven grantmaking and impact measurement.
Work with the Head of Business Development to provide insights from donor trends and grant impact data, supporting fundraising and partnership strategies.
Representing the Organisation
Maintain a strong understanding of community and charity sector issues to inform BLCF’s data strategy and grantmaking approach. Ensure relevant insights are shared across the team.
Develop and maintain an appropriate network of contacts within the grantmaking sector across BLCF’s geographic reach.

What the job involves
As part of the Strategic Communications, Campaigns and Brand team, you’ll support the Head of Strategic Communications, Campaigns and Branding by directing the Business Partnering team, and developing and embedding our Business Partnering model.
You’ll partner with senior leaders and product owners to act as a supportive enabler of their communications objectives, and ensuring they’re actively engaged in the development of communications strategies, objectives and plans. · Work to embed the Case Manager role into multi-agency responses to domestic abuse in the area.

Regional Fundraising Manager (West Wales)
Join Wales’ leading cancer charity as a Fundraiser and manage raising funds across an already established West Wales region. There’s loads of scope to generate more income and grow connections.
You’ll be joining an experienced Wales fundraising team who generate over £2.8million of annual income. Your fundraising impact is seen in people affected by cancer through the services we run, the difference to lives we make and the campaigns that make meaningful change.
You’ll be managing and building relationships across West Wales with our supporters, Friends of Tenovus groups and establishing new fundraising connections and work with teams of volunteers. You can expect to manage events such as our annual Lovelight concerts, Singathons and Breast Cancer Awareness Month to name just a few.
Your region is already warm with strong supporter connections and exciting development opportunities to grow across the region in places like Swansea, Aberystwyth, Haverfordwest to Carmarthen.
Whilst it’d be great if you’ve done Third Sector Fundraising it isn’t a must have to be considered as we’ll consider transferable skills.
