Grants Manager
We are seeking a proactive and detailed Grants Manager to support our development team on the journey to further Cardboard Citizens’ ambitions as a dynamic, flexible and forward-thinking social justice charity and theatre company, working with people who have experience of homelessness and poverty or inequity.
Our organisation secures over £1m in voluntary funding each year and our Grants Manager will play a vital role in securing and growing the broad range of voluntary support which allows to make exceptional art for social change. You will manage a rich portfolio of existing funder relationships across Trusts & Foundations, Corporate and Statutory income streams, in addition to researching and writing applications for new funding and working closely with the Delivery team on impact monitoring and reporting. You will cultivate and steward funder relationships and manage and represent the organisation at events run by, with and for existing and prospective funders, including establishing new funding connections for Cardboard Citizens in Hackney, following our recent move from Whitechapel to Hoxton.
Following this move and the launch of our film series More Than One Story in partnership with The Big Issue, this summer, you will be joining Cardboard Citizens at a time of growth, change and increased local and national exposure, as we plan for our longer-term future. We have targets in place to retain and increase income we receive from grants, which make up the majority of our annual income. Your contribution will be vital in ensuring Cardboard Citizens can deliver our programme year-on-year and continue to grow. This role is for you if you work in fundraising and are looking for a new challenge, or a step up to a manager position in a supportive organisation.
Salary: £35,000+ (dependent on experience)
Contract: Permanent (subject to 6-month probation).

When someone sustains a spinal cord injury, it is a life changing experience.
Back Up’s Regional Outreach and Engagement team are the very face of the organisation and are based across the UK, working directly with spinal cord injury centres, major trauma centres and hospitals – or indeed anywhere that people affected by spinal cord injury may be.
As a Regional Coordinator, you will build relationships and take ownership for what happens in your geographical area. MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Supporting the area Field Organiser, in their work with groups of local people in and around small towns across the county in which they are based, this role will both organise and mobilise members of the public to take actions supportive of overseas aid and international development, including the climate crisis. As part of a team, you will help build an active local community presence to support the Campaigns aims in key locations across England. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, excellent organisation, logistical and administrative skills, with a strong commitment to the aims of the Campaign.

The post holder will be the first point of contact for a busy team, supporting effective delivery of key participation projects that puts children and young people’s voices at the heart of government. This is primarily an administration post with some opportunity to develop engagement skills. This is a varied role that requires significant attention to detail, the ability to move between tasks at rapid pace, and skill to make complex information accessible for a range of stakeholders. About the role:
This role is a hybrid working role co-located in the Housing department of Merton Civic Centre. As an Independent Domestic Violence Advocate you will:
- Implement effective ways of working with victims and those supporting them to increase safety and reduce harm.

This pivotal role will address a significant gap in the protection and welfare of animals used in entertainment and media. As our Senior Scientific and Policy Officer - Animals in Entertainment & the Media, you will develop and implement a strategic plan to raise industry standards, improve legal protection, and shift public attitudes to improve the welfare of animals used in these industries.
The role is situated in the RSPCA's Wildlife Department but the scope of the work includes all animals, including companion animals, so you will work collaboratively across several departments.

Role Description
This role will contribute to A4ID’s mission of promoting the UN SDGs, the power of pro bono, and strengthening the rule of law by focusing on climate change and environmental conservation.
The Project Manager will oversee the delivery of a project focused on combatting the Illegal Wildlife Trade (IWT) in the Kavango Zambezi (KAZA) region in Southern Africa. This will include convening partnership stakeholders for project planning and development, devising and implementing activity plans, sourcing experts and developing monitoring and evaluation. This role contributes to building the capacity of legal actors on needed legal support and expertise to tackle issues such as illegal wildlife trade in Southern Africa, as well as climate mitigation and adaptation around the world, particularly in low to middle-income countries. The Project Manager will also have opportunities to engage in coordination and learning activities, representing the KAZA project as part of A4ID’s broader portfolio.
You will lead on and advance A4ID’s climate-related and environmental projects, including related business development and developing and supporting new service offerings and products.
