Hammersmith and Fulham, Ealing and Hounslow Mind run an innovative crisis prevention service designed as a place for children and young people at risk of mental health crises to de-escalate and have access to a skilled staff team to support them.
The Circle is open out of hours (3pm-11pm or 12pm-8pm weekends and holidays), 365 days a year, and has been designed to reduce the need for young people to attend A&E. Co-designed by young people, it is a friendly and accessible space. Please note: some out-of-hours work is a key part of this job, with some opportunity for home working.

Key Responsibilities:
- Line management of a team of full time, part time and bank staff who have expertise in supporting young people nearing crises.
- Day to day management of the contract (from the NHS ICB)
- Responsible for managing a rota to ensure the service has adequate staffing, 365 days a year
- Holding relationships with all key stakeholders (funders and commissioners, local authorities, local CAMHS services and hospitals)
- Building on the pilot phase of the programme and using creative approaches to supporting children and young people of all ages.
- Working closely with the Clinical Lead to ensure safe delivery of services and that staff are supported.
- Ability to support staff to work with a diverse range of children and families, and tailor services to reach young people who may not currently be accessing the programme, or who have specific additional needs or diagnoses.
You will have:
- At least 3 years’ experience of managing a complex service supporting young people with a variety of needs, ideally within a mental health context.
- Experience of working on (ideally managing) a commissioned service within a Third Sector Organisation.
- Experienced in delivering a service within budget and meeting all KPIs and contract requirements.
- A passion for supporting and developing staff.
- A commitment to improving the lives of young people through high-quality mental health support
- Having a creative approach to problem solving and developing the service to meet the needs of diverse young people and families.

VCSE Strategic Lead (Living Well and Wider Wellbeing)

The VCSE Strategic Lead for Living Well and Wider Wellbeing is an exciting new role that will be focused on ensuring that the VCSE sector has voice and influence so that Salford people are supported to live well, with a focus on mental health and wellbeing.
The role will be aligned with Salford’s Living Well programme and the city’s Mental Health Collaborative. These are the cornerstones of the design and development of innovative solutions to adult mental health provision in the City. As well as the alignment with Living Well, the lead will also focus on creative health, placed-based working, and physical activity.
The Strategic Lead will work across a broad spectrum of VCSE and public sector partners that design, commission, or deliver activities and services that support the Mental Health and Wellbeing of Salfordians. This spectrum includes NHS Greater Manchester, Greater Manchester Mental Health Trust, Salford City Council, START, Mind in Salford, Salford Community Leisure, Salford Sport, and Physical Activity Alliance.
The Strategic Lead will play a key role in ensuring that there is collaborative working and effective communication within Living Well. This also includes key stakeholders, strategic partners in Salford, Local Authority, VCSE, and NHS organisations.
Living Well
Living Well is an innovative new service created and delivered by a partnership between START, Mind (Salford), Six Degrees, and Greater Manchester Mental Health Trust. A multi-agency team, collaborating to provide positive, humanistic, and safe experiences for those experiencing poor mental health who are unable to meet the threshold for community mental health services.
This post requires an enhanced level DBS check.
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate extensive experience of building multi-sectoral partnerships and relationships, as well as having outstanding communication skills. They will also have a clear understanding of the VCSE sector, preferably in Salford, and mental health and wellbeing context across Greater Manchester.

You will be a fully qualified CYP MH Practitioner working within a multi-disciplinary, early intervention Mental Health Support Team (MHST) to increase and improve emotional wellbeing for 5–25-year-olds, and mental health provision within education settings.

You will have an active caseload of children and adolescents with mild – moderate emotional and mental health difficulties and will deliver evidence-based 1:1 and group interventions, employing the principles underpinning the national CYP-IAPT programme (Children and Young People’s Improving Access to Psychological Therapies). Low intensity interventions (e.g. CBT guided self-help) will be delivered in a range of education settings (primary, secondary, special, alternative provision and sixth form and further education colleges). This will range from delivering evidence-based interventions for CYP and parents/carers in education settings, with mild – moderate presentations, to providing psychoeducation and training for a range of stakeholders, including children and young people, parents/carers and education staff, promoting a whole school approach to mental health.
You will work with people from different cultural backgrounds, using interpreters when necessary, and should be committed to equal opportunities. You will also work closely with colleagues and partners in the Local Authority, CAMHS, education settings where interventions are being delivered and other relevant mental health providers. This will build upon the ICB’s and Mind’s whole school approach to mental health provision.
You will have:
- A current qualification from an accredited body to deliver evidence-based interventions for CYP
- Direct experience delivering interventions for CYP aged 5-25 with mild – moderate mental health difficulties
- Experience of routine outcome monitoring
- Experience of clinical risk assessment
- Understanding of child development and psychosocial influences
- Experience handling safeguarding concerns for CYP and adults

Summary of Role
The Regional Head of Middle East Programmes supports the organisation’s programmatic efforts with a focus on developing and implementing strategy for the Middle East region whilst also providing hands-on support to day-to-day grants management, partner management and donor coordination and reporting.
The following role works closely with the Director of Programmes and Head of Programmes (Protracted Contexts). The role will also regularly work as the intermediary lead with the established Collective for Refugee Leadership in MENA (CRLM), which is a group of donors and thought partners focused on advancing refugee leadership and support for refugees across the Middle East and North Africa.
You will be highly flexible and adaptive, able to respond effectively and in line with our emergency protocols to humanitarian crises as required, whilst also supporting longer-term protracted programmes work. You will have strong project and grants management experience and highly effective administration skills. You drive efficiency and innovation and provide senior management guidance on international projects, as well as high-quality implementation. You will address challenges and issues in all aspects of project implementation and ensure timely and appropriate solutions, including the identification and mitigation of programmatic risks. You will also demonstrate strong people management skills, with an ability to provide both task management and strategic guidance (in addition to more holistic line management support) to several team members.
Responsibilities
Grant Management
● Manage the Choose Love Middle East team to ensure smooth and efficient grant-making for our work in the Middle East
● This includes leading on, and managing a small team, to:
▪ Work closely with partners to gather, review and track due diligence documentation required for granting to partner organisations.
▪ Support the maintenance of grants systems to track grant making progress e.g start and end dates, reporting deadlines, no cost extensions etc.
▪ Draft and/ or review grant agreements between Choose Love and partner organisations and ensure any grant amendments or addendums have correct and accurate information
▪ Review reports from partner organisations to ensure effective use of Choose Love funds
▪ Work with the Data Lead (Programmes) to review Middle East reporting data received from partners and assess outputs, impact and successes from grant-making in the region. This will include being closely involved in impact reporting within the CRLM initiative.
▪ Working with the Director of Programmes / Head of Programmes to attend monitoring trips to the region
▪ Support the Safeguarding Lead on Safeguarding organisational development for the region as needed
▪ Problem-solving with partners on how to get funding into challenging contexts
Partner Relationship Management
● Build meaningful, effective ongoing relationships with new and existing partners.
● Lead partner calls and track key takeaways and actions to share internally.
● Lead on regular check-ins with existing, long-term partners.
● Respond to ad hoc needs arising from partners - including clarification/support on the application process and support with reporting.
● Maintain up-to-date understanding of the needs of partners.
● Supporting Choose Love Fundraising
● Support with narrative reporting to donors - capturing the work of our implementing partners in the region
● Support with developing proposals for donors to Choose Love
● Respond to ad-hoc requests for information from prospective and existing donors
● Support with organising and hosting donor trips to the region
● Support the Partnerships team in presenting Choose Love’s work at events etc when appropriate
● Build and oversee relationships and liaise with CRLM grant partners, bilateral funders, and other key stakeholders to ensure CRLM strategy and approach are aligned to needs and trends in selected contexts
Regional Strategy
● Working closely with the Director of Programmes and the Head of Programmes (Protracted Contexts) and ELT, to develop and implement the regional strategy for Choose Love’s programmes in the Middle East as part of the wider Choose Love Strategy.
● Consulting with key advisors and stakeholders on recommendations for the Middle East strategy
● Championing and supporting opportunities to promote funding to refugee-led and lived-experience led organisations
● Working with the team to implement the regional strategy and adapt the approach in response to contextual changes or humanitarian emergencies
● Maintain an up-to-date expert understanding of the changing context and needs in the region
● Lead on Choose Love’s involvement in CRLM, including inputting and implementing the new strategy, processes, and systems
● Participate in relevant sector / regional meetings
● Work with the Director of Programmes and Head of Programmes to develop a network of peers working in the region
People Management
● Thoughtfully manage the existing team that supports Choose Love’s Middle East work by providing day to day support, meaningful 1:1s and annual reviews and identifying any learning and development needs
● Collaborate closely with (2) other Regions Heads on wider team initiatives and tasks, and be willing to provide surge management support for other regions during absences or periods of annual leave
● Support CRLM in recruiting and utilising advisors and consultants
Internal Communications
● Facilitate the sharing of regional strategy and updates across the wider Choose Love team to feed into wider fundraising efforts
● Communicate partner activities / asks to the rest of the team, including presentations on team calls and email updates to the team
● Support the ELT with information to feed back to the board about Programmes work.
● Capture information on specific contexts and summarise quickly and efficiently to the Communications team, as well as for external stakeholders/funders.
Essential Criteria
● Fluency in Arabic and English (both in written and speaking)
● Experience working in a programmes or grants-focused role related to the Middle East region
● Experience in the humanitarian sector, ideally with people who have been displaced
● Have permission to work in their country of residence
● Ability to travel within the Middle East region
● Line management experience, with remote line management experience highly desirable
● Experience liaising with donors and external stakeholders
● Report-writing skills

Salary - £40,000 - £47,000

The role
This is an important post in the finance team and, as the Part qualified Management Accountant you will be responsible for a number of important processes supporting month end, reforecasts and the annual budget. The role
Our key priorities at FareShare UK are to grow the food volumes accessible to the charities and community groups we support across the UK. Food partners (manufacturers, retailers, wholesalers, importers, packers, catering providers, producers and others) are pivotal in helping us to meet these priorities, providing access to food and many other strategic resources. This crucial role will focus on working with our top food partners to maximise the mutual value in the relationship through strategic and structured account management. You will be the direct account lead for some of the biggest food accounts in the UK and you will lead part of the Food Partnership Team for managing and engaging new business relationships to drive and grow food and funding from top food partners.

Coordinating colleagues in the food team and other FareShare teams: FareShare Go, Marketing, Fundraising, Network Operations and Volunteering teams to ensure that top partners get an excellent service. You will help identify and overcome the barriers to food redistribution and increase the volumes of foods available to FareShare from food partners and their wider supply chains.

About the role
We are seeking an IT Tech Support Team Lead to support ARTICLE 19 during its migration to the MS365 platform and applications. The role
As a Community Coordinator Assistant for FareShare, your primary responsibility will be to manage and sustain the Community Food Membership (CFM) programme.
