About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to join Dementia UK’s IT team as our IT Vendor and Service Integration Manager. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the end-to-end vendor management process, ensuring seamless integration of external services with our internal IT operations.
Acting as the primary liaison between outsourced service providers and internal IT teams, you will ensure alignment with organisational objectives, maintain service quality, and optimise the value derived from vendor relationships. You will also be responsible for ensuring that contract obligations are consistently met.
You will coordinate across IT Operations, IT Applications/Data, and directorate technology-dependent teams to resolve issues that span multiple domains, ensuring the smooth integration of services between internal and external providers. To succeed in this role, you will have experience with IT service management frameworks such as ITIL, along with a strong background in IT supplier and budget management. You will bring demonstrable experience in managing complex outsourcing relationships, coupled with strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. You will also have a strong understanding of IT service management principles and practices, along with substantial experience in IT vendor management or service delivery roles.

About you

ROLE RESPONSIBLITIES
- Grow prospect pipeline and the number of donors donating £10K+ to UNHCR’s work.
- Grow UK for UNHCR’s sustainable income by growing the number of multi-year donors funding our programmes outside of emergencies.
- Work with the wider international organisation to identify the most appropriate funding propositions for donors.
- Craft compelling propositions and proposals for major donors and ensure quality and timely reporting back on gifts made.
- Work closely with the IG team to manage the transition of mid-value donors to the major donor programme.

- Work independently and with the prospect researcher to gather up-to-date and accurate information on existing and prospect major donors and to develop network maps.

What's the role about?
As part of the Scotland Leadership Team, the North Scotland Operations Director leads the RSPB’s place-based delivery, primarily across our nature reserves and within the RSPB’s Priority Landscapes where we are working to influence and support others to restore nature and inspire communities within some of Scotland’s most iconic landscapes.
This is a role for an exceptional director, with a team of approximately 150 staff and 500 volunteers, significant budget (£5M+), land based commercial operations, major project and risk accountability, and responsibility for restoring some of Scotland’s most threatened species & habitats.
The role covers four large Operational Areas which comprise the RSPB’s North Scotland Region, including the organisation's two largest nature reserves. The Operations Director line manages 4 Area Managers in the following operational areas:
- Shetland & Northeast Scotland;
- Orkney;
- North Highland and Outer Hebrides, and
- South Highland.
Other line reports are the Senior Programme Manager for the Scotland Peatland Programme, and the Inverness Office Manager.
Alongside the Operational Director role, the post holder also has overall responsibility for some of the RSPB’s largest and most high-profile projects and programmes, including the Orkney Native Wildlife project, the Scotland Peatland Programme, and Cairngorms Connect.
We’re looking for a talented director with experience of managing a diverse and dispersed operational portfolio. You’ll be someone who can build strong collaborations (both internally & externally), and you’ll be comfortable representing the RSPB to a range of audiences, from community groups to public agency executives and leaders alongside politicians and Government Ministers.
You should be confident to make decisions and be able to balance risk and opportunity. An understanding of - and an ability to operate within - governance, finance and risk frameworks is also a key part of the role. We are hiring a Service Manager to join our team in Ealing, leading a service which provides a recovery focused service to adults with long term mental health difficulties. You will support the team to deliver person centred support to improve our residents' lives, gaining greater independence to support them in their move on into low support accommodation.
As the Service Manager, you will have full oversight of your service, ensuring full contract and regulatory compliance, and support the Head of Service in the implementation and delivery of service monitoring and development. You will contribute to the strategic direction of local services.
Shift Pattern: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 09:00 - 17:00 with flexibility to work outside these hours as required by service requirements. This is an in person face to face role, and will include the requirement for providing out of hours on call support which is arranged on a rota.
Salary: £36,600

The Centre Manager Role will report directly to the CEO, be linked to the Retreat Director’s work and have an annual salary of circa £36,000- £38,500 per annum dependent on qualifications and experience, 24 days annual leave plus 8 days bank holiday, occasional discretionary days and a desirable pension scheme.

In 2025, BIAS will be expanding its successful Brent-based welfare and housing advice service into Haringey borough. The Advice Manager will take the lead on establishing and developing this new service, and will help recruit and manage one or more advice specialists to ensure that we provide the highest-quality service to our clients. You will need to have experience of delivering front-line benefits and/or housing advice, strong people skills and the ability to build good working relationships with staff and clients, along with excellent organisational abilities to ensure that projects are delivered on time.
This role will also involve working with the leadership team to help identify areas for future development, build positive working relationships with other organisations in the borough, and support grant applications and reporting, which will give you the opportunity to have a direct impact on shaping the organisation’s future strategy and direction.

- Leading on monitoring service delivery, recording outcomes and ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
- Managing all aspects of risk relating to advice delivery, complaints handling, safeguarding and GDPR.
Operational support
- Working with the leadership team as required on operational matters, including planning, strategy for future development and grant applications and reporting.
These are the basic duties required of the Advice Manager. However, it is necessary for all staff to be flexible and you may be required from time to time to perform other reasonable duties which are required for the efficient running of the organisation. We will also offer training opportunities to support your career development.
Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK. This role will be based in our advice offices but there may be some options for flexible working (i.e. one or two days per week).
