Key Responsibilities:

Support the team’s up to date understanding of GDPR and consent recording on the database and associated processes.
• Proactively collaborate across teams to identify opportunities for prospecting, for example with Corporate, Trusts, Individual Giving and Events.

Requirements:

• Experience of researching high net worth individuals, company Directors, and/or family Trust and Foundations Boards identifying capacity, propensity and affinity to the cause. 
• Ability to gather information from the public domain in accordance with GDPR, Data protection regulation, IoF and charity law. 
• Experience of producing accurate, unbiased, concise snapshot research as well as more in-depth research profiles detailed reports, network mapping and analysis on donors and prospects. 
• Knowledge and commitment to our aims, mission and values is desired. 
• Strong understanding of due diligence, data protection and the latest GDPR and ICO updates is desired.

Specific responsibilities

An applicant appointed to the role will be expected to:

• Be responsible for curating CSE's social media content calendar. With support from digital comms manager, produce engaging content and ensure CSE’s social channels reflect our strategic goals.
• Create engaging multimedia digital content for websites, social media and our e-newsletter including written copy (blogs, news stories, content pages), video, and graphics using Canva and Adobe Creative Cloud.
• Lead on producing video content to promote CSE’s work, including planning, filming, and editing content using Premier Pro.
• Maintain CSE’s video library, including our internal folders, processes, and YouTube channel.
• Support the Senior Communications and Brand Manager to develop CSE’s suite of branded content. This includes creating branded templates for colleagues to use as well as designing digital and print materials for projects.
• With support from the wider comms team, ensure our online presence including website, social media, email marketing and digital advertising reflects strategic goals.
• Support the day-to-day management of CSE’s website, including uploading and editing content.

About the Group Housing Officer role:

The Role

As part of the End Furniture Poverty team, you’ll work closely with the Director of End Furniture Poverty to lead and deliver our research strategy. You’ll develop and deliver high-quality research, analyse complex data, and create publications that inform policy and influence real-world change.

This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives on juggling multiple projects, has a strong grasp of social research methods, and wants to see their work have a national impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Leading primary and secondary research into the causes, effects, and solutions to furniture poverty

• Designing qualitative and quantitative studies

• Handling large datasets and using tools like SPSS, Stata or R for analysis

• Writing publication-standard reports and policy briefings

• Mapping services and interventions in the sector

• Staying up to date with key policy developments

• Supporting our influencing work with powerful evidence and insight

Skills and Experience:

• Strong experience of both qualitative and quantitative social research

• Educated to degree level (ideally in a relevant field such as social or political science)

• Postgraduate social research qualification

• Excellent communication skills – written and verbal

• Proficiency in statistical software (e.g. SPSS, R, Stata)

• Confidence in managing complex datasets and distilling insights

• A creative and analytical mindset

• Knowledge of social justice, government policy, and socioeconomic issues

Blesma – The Limbless Veterans is the national charity and membership association for limbless serving and ex-service men and women and their dependants.

We help all wounded Servicemen and women who have lost limbs, the use of limbs or eyes, to rebuild their lives by providing well-being support and rehabilitation activities.

Blesma campaigns for our veteran’s rights and looks after individuals and their families by offering a comprehensive welfare system and financial assistance programme.  Rehabilitation, support, counselling and care are the four principal foundations of our organisation.  Together, we can help our men, women and their families face the challenges ahead with renewed confidence and self-belief.

The Activities and Events Administrator plays a vital role at Blesma, contributing to a small, dynamic team that delivers an engaging program of sporting and social activities to support Members' rehabilitation and well-being. This role will work alongside the Head of Activities on the Fulfilling Pathways programme, funded by the Armed Forces Compensation Scheme, to provide therapeutic activities. This is a fantastic opportunity for a personable, organised and committed individual to join an inspiring organisation and make a real difference in the lives of our beneficiaries.

Key duties:

1. Programme Coordination: Serve as the primary contact for the Fulfilling Pathways programme, assist members, and introduce new members to the activities programme.

2. Event Management: Handle event administration, including sign-ups, logistics, venue booking, and maintaining the calendar of events.

3. Communication and Engagement: Encourage member participation through social media, newsletters, and other communications, and compile information for activity leaders.

4. Administrative Support: Manage records, receipts, invoices, stock sheets, and compile quarterly/yearly statistics, while supporting monitoring, evaluation, and feedback processes.
